Narrator

It was a bright and beautiful day when Zayn Malik decided to pop the question to Perrie Edwards. After finding the perfect ring, to slide onto Perrie's finger, it didn't take him long before he knew that he was ready to ask her.

Sun shone threw the curtains, hitting Perrie's face causing her wake. She stretched her arms out and slowly rested them on Zayn causing him wake as well.

"Mornin' Beautiful," Zayn said in a cracked morning voice.

"Morning love," Perrie gave Zayn a light kiss on the forehead before sliding out of bed and slipping into a robe. She walked over to the window where the light was shinning through and she proceeded to open the curtains. "Isn't it gorgeous?" she asked Zayn, referring to the picture perfect view of the Eiffel Tower from their window.

"Yeah it's pretty. But I think I have the best view right in front of me," a kid-like smile arose on Zayn's face.

Perrie turned around and walked back to the bed, then sat on the edge next to Zayn, "Well aren't you sweet?"

"I like to think so," Zayn said continuing their playful banter.

"So what are we doing today?" Perrie said changing the subject. "Are we going on a walking tour of Paris, or maybe we can go to the Louvre, or we could go shopping and stop at a café on the way there– "

"How about we just go shopping. That way you can get something really lovely to wear to dinner tonight?" Zayn said as more of a question than a statement.

"Okay that sounds great!" Perrie was pleasantly surprised with Zayn's plan for the day.

After both of them had finished getting the ready they headed out to, , one of the best designer shops. After a few hours of trying on dress after dress, Perrie finally chose one. She chose a sleek and elegant red dress. Zayn had helped her pick it out and he thought that she looked absolutely stunning in it. It was the perfect dress for tonight.

Even tough shopping had taken up a good part of their morning and a bit of their afternoon; they still had plenty of time to kill. So they decided to walk around for a bit. Upon their walk they found a darling little café and decided to have a seat while they decided what to do next.

"Where are we off to next?" Perrie asked as she sipped on her coffee that they had order not too long ago.

"Uh I have no idea. What do you feel like doing?"

"I don't know. I thought you were the one making the plans for today?" Perrie took another sip of coffee and raised her eyebrow at Zayn.

"Well we could always go back to hotel. I know something we could do there that would take up some time," Zayn winked at Perrie then started to drink his espresso.

"Ha ha," Perrie fake laughed. "I would love to do that too but this is Paris! We can't spend the whole time in our hotel room."

"I know, I know." Zayn put down his drink and looked at his watch, "okay well it almost lunch time so we can get lunch her or walk around and find another place for lunch and after lunch we could hit the shops again. I'm sure you need a pair of shoes and some accessories to go with that remarkable dress."

"Yeah I guess you're right. And I wouldn't mind going somewhere else for lunch, this place is a bit too small."

After lunch and even more shopping Zayn and Perrie headed back to their hotel. Instead of doing what Zayn had suggested earlier they decided to take a quick dip in the pool before dinner.

Down at the pool Zayn and Perrie got ready to go into the beautiful heated indoor pool. As Perrie slid her towel off of her Zayn couldn't help but looked. In that moment he couldn't help but think how lucky he was and how ready he was put a ring on her finger.

Zayn came up behind her and place his chin to her neck while wrapping his arms around her, "You look absolutely beautiful."

As he started to kiss her neck she said, "you're not too bad yourself." She then turned around to face him. "I love you Zayn," Perrie said as she looked into his eyes then she redirected her eyes to his lips.

Zayn immediately kissed her, which lead to another and then another.

Perrie pulled away; looking embarrassed she scanned the room to see if there was anyone one else in the poolroom. There wasn't. "We should probably go swimming before it gets too late.

"Yeah," Zayn scratched his head as he agreed with his girlfriend.

A quick dip in the pool had somehow turned into a make out session. Zayn looked up at the clock on the wall and realized that if they didn't start getting ready now then they would be late for their dinner reservations. They quickly headed back to their room and they started getting ready. Zayn was the first to finish getting ready. As he waited for Perrie to finish getting ready in the in the little sitting room in their room he began to feel nervous. What if he choked? What if something went wrong? What is she said no? All these thoughts and more ran through his head. He was so distracted by his thoughts that he hadn't even noticed that Perrie was done and that she had stepped out of the bathroom.

Perrie's voice finally rang through Zayn's ears, "I'm ready!" She must have said that at least four times now.

Zayn finally snapped out of his daze. He sprang up off the couch and rushed to where she was standing. He stopped short in his tracks. She looked gorgeous. Zayn had never seen her look this beautiful. "You look..." He couldn't even finish his sentence. He didn't know how too. "I don't think there's a word to describe it yet."

Perrie chuckled she could see that he was at a loss for words. "Thank you Zayn," she said saving him. "Shall we go?" Perrie asked while holding out her hand.

"Yeah, let's go," he said still a bit stunned.

He took her hand but before they walked out the door she turned to him and asked, "Are you okay?"

"Yeah I'm fine," he replied in a not so convincing voice.

"Are you sure because you look like you're worried about something."

"No I'm fine. You just caught me off guard. I didn't know you looked that amazing in this dress," Zayn said trying to hide what was really going on in his mind.

"Okay," Perrie said while blushing. Perrie tried to let it go but it stayed in the back of her mind.

As they walked out her room, Zayn touched his left breast pocket, feeling for the small box he had placed in his blazer earlier. Once he felt it he relaxed a bit.

They made it just in time for their reservation at, Le Cinq. Dinner had gone very smoothly. They conversation stayed light and bubbly even though Zayn was practically sweating threw his suit. Once they had their dessert and the bill had been settled Zayn had asked Perrie if she wanted to walk around the city. Perrie welcomed the idea.

As they started walking it was no secret that the Eiffel Tower was near. Perrie asked Zayn if they could walk over there and of course he said yes—that was his plan after all.

Arm in arm they start to approach the Eiffel Tower, and Zayn knew he had to start talking or else he never would. "Perrie," he started. "We've been together for a while, and we've had some really great times together and some not so great times. But even during the bad times we made it threw to the other side. I love you Perrie Edwards and I want to make you my wife," Zayn pulled the small box out of this breast pocket and dropped to one knee right in front of the Eiffel Tower.

By this point Perrie knew exactly what was happening and she was shocked to say the least. Her hands covered her mouth and she felt the need to pinch herself, just to make sure it wasn't a dream this time.

Zayn continued, "Perrie Louis Edwards, will you marry me?" Zayn was anxious as he waited for a response.

But it didn't take her very long to give him one, "YES! Yes of course ill marry you!"

Zayn stood up as fast as he could and wrapped his arms around Perrie and she wrapped her arms around his neck. Perrie pulled back a little and rested her head on his forehead.

"Nothing would make me happier than to marry you Zayn," Perrie beamed.

They both let go of each other and as Zayn slid the ring onto her finger she knew that this time it wasn't a dream.
