Hayes showed up at my house at 4 in the morning I had to seek out my back window
"What are you doing?"I asked
"Rule number one with Adventures:Always willing to lose sleep"Hayes said handing me a jacket
"We have school tomorrow Hayes"I said
"Tomorrow is not a promise so live tonight"He looked me in my eyes I grabbed my necklace and closed my eyes
"I can do this"I told myself I opened my eyes
"Let's go"Hayes spoke we walked down the hill if was dark and chilly
"Hayes where are we going?"I asked
"Here"he stopped I looked to see a house
"Who house is this?"I asked
"My ex she was a bitch to me and to my friends"He said going behind a car
"What are we doing here?"I asked
"You are going to sneak in her house and get my ring I gave her"He smirked
"I'm going to what!"?"I asked
"Don't be scared"he said
"Hayes I'm not going to Risk my life"I said
"Rule number 2:take risks"Hayes said I closed my eyes thinking
"Fine"I said he patted my shoulder
"Oh and rule number 3:don't get caught"he smiled I rolled my eyes leaving his side I walked closer to the house I looked back Hayes gave me a thumbs up i walked in the back of the house the kitchen window was open I climbed in quietly I looked around the house no one was downstairs I tip toed upstairs I bumped into a painting I caught it before it hit the ground placing it back in place. I opened a door it was the bathroom I took a deep breath opening another Hayes Ex was sleeping with a teddy bear I pulled out my phone taking a picture of her without making a sound I checked her room for the ring I couldn't find it I noticed it was on her finger I got on the floor crawling next to her I smoothly grabbed her hand pulling it towards me I pulled the ring off slowly but fastly I quickly got up rushing down downstairs i bumped into a pan causing it to fall on the ground.
"Who's there!!"A voice shouted I saw a light turn on I quickly climbed out the window running to the front of the house Hayes grabbed me pulling me behind a tree.
"Who's there!"Her dad opened the front door i looked at Hayes
"On the count of 3 run"He said I nodded
"1
2
3!!!!"We both ran laughing up the hill we hid behind a car I pulled the ring from my pocket
"You did it"He smiled
"Yeah I did"I blushed I took out my phone showing him the picture of her with the teddy bear
"Dude that's gold"He laughed I laughed along
"I should be heading home"I got up
"Me too and thank you"He said
"For what?"I asked
"Being a great sport and being open"he smiled
"No I should be the on thanking you"I said
"Yup cause tomorrow.....we're going on another adventure"He walked away
