There is a traditional proverb that says The apple never falls far from the tree. Which I never understood until I was old enough.
"So we are going to your parents house what for?" Chen asked
"They told me they wanted us to visit there. It's ok will be back tonight so don't worry" I said

I opened the door with my spare key but there was no-one on the house or that's what we thought until we heard some noises
"Surprise" All of my family members screamed.
"JongDae" my dad and him high five each other.
"You knew" I laughed
"Well it was a surprised. It's been a while since you celebrated your birthday with your family" he smiled at me.
"Come on it would be fun" mum clapped her hands excited

"Omo, Minseok you are so tall" my grandma hugged me
"Grandma, I missed you" I hugged her back
"You must be JongDae right?" she asked Chen
"Yeah" he bowed politely
"Omo so handsome, when are you getting married?" she asked
"We still have to think about it but I won't let him go" he said
"When are you giving me great grandchildren?" she asked
"Grandma you know it's kinda soon" I said
"There's nothing impossible for god" She looked very serious then went to the kitchen to join my mum.
"Don't tell me she actually believes two men can have children?" Chen asked
"Well she once believed she could fly and she jumped from her window. Luckily there was an old mattress under it my dad was going to throw it. Grandma is very funny" I laughed
"Daebak, she is so brave. Wait I think you should be one who would be pregnant" he thought about it seriously
"Why me?" I asked
"Well you know since I'm always the one" he started
"Ok I get it, just forget it, let's go great my aunts" I said

"You think this dress makes me look more fat?" My aunt Jessie asked
"No ma'am you look nice on that" Jongdae said
"You see I lost some kilos but my husband didn't noticed" My aunt Goming said
"Maybe because he is used to see you he doesn't noticed the things around him but you sure look thinner" Jong dae smiled
"Minseok you choose a nice man" both said
"You know he is not a therapist, he is a blogger" I laughed

"Say Minseok who is the woman between you two?" one of my hateful cousins asked
"Say Minho who is the stupidest between you two?" I glared at him and my other cousin

"Ok everyone let's eat" my mum called everyone to eat on the table
The food was great but the company wasn't really that good but I guessed we spend a good time after all

"Your family is very....unique" Jongdae hold his laugher
"Now you know why I didn't want you to meet them aside from my parents" I sighed
"Well I think is nice having a big family. You know I was an only child so I never enjoyed that much the company but I think your family it's cool" He squeezed my hand
"I'm glad you weren't scared" I smile
"But you know we should go home and make some babies you never know maybe this time you'll get pregnant" he joked
"You know when we get home you'll sleep on the couch" I smiled evilly
"Yes ma'am" he pouted
I punched him
I couldn't even find a normal guy to date. It must be a family cursed or something
But I wouldn't change him for anyone
-Tao's Pov-
I was having breakfast when had some shivers and that definitely was a bad signal. I check out my phone and saw that definitely today was going to be a disaster

I heard someone knocking on the door, it was too late.
"Hey Tao you should go and answer the door" Kris hyung was on his way to open the door when I pushed him put of the way
"What the....?" I covered his mouth
"Please be quiet let's pretend we aren't here. Don't opened the door" I whispered
"Honey we know you are here. If you don't open this door I'm gonna tell you some of your embarrassing secrets. 1,2,3..." mum said

"I'm so glad to meet such an important person, could you sign me this autograph, honey take a picture of us. The girls from the hairdresser would be green woth envy" my mum laughed like on of those gossip
"I'm sure you came here after you knew Kris hyung was my roommate" I sighed
"Of course not. We also came to pay you a visit, see how the apartment looks like and give you some food" dad said
"Dad not you too" I really don't know how can we be from the same family

"Say Kris-ssi, does my son eat properly? Does he do house chores? Does he take a bath every day? You know when he was younger he used to hate it. I had to forced him to take a bath sometimes days would pass without him taking a bath" mum said
"Mum why are you even telling my dirty rags to him?" this was really pissing me off.
"He seems to be a cool kid but know he is just a grouchy" Kris hyung mocked me
"My Tao wasn't always like that. He was a nice and happy kid, I don't know how he turned to be such a grump kid" She smiled innocently
I'm so done with this people
"Son where are you going?" Dad asked me
"Somewhere over the rainbow" I yelled

I was in the park behind our house swinging.
"Hey can I sit next to you?" Kris hyung asked
"I guess" I shrugged
"Your parents left" he said
"Finally" I sighed realived
"You know they are pretty cool. I don't have a family as you may know I came here very young well the CEO of our company adopted me, he raised as his son, I became a model because I wanted to repay what he did for me but also to find my family" He confessed
"You know if Ceo heard you he would be hurt. Eventhough he isn't your real dad he raised you like one" I said
" I guess you are right. You should cherish your family more too. Let's go inside Tao" he pulled me inside the building
My parents might be crazy and annoying but I love them as much I love hyung
"Tao don't forget to take a shover and don't drink to much water or you'll wet the bed sheets" Kris hyung smirked
