Dear Sam,

I'm so sorry for the trouble I have caused you. I hope one day you can forgive me. I will try to explain and hopefully clear things up so everyone can move on.

I fell in love with Jonathan the minute I set eyes on him. He started working for my dad about a year before you and I started dating. My father thought Jonathan wasn't good enough for his daughter so we had to meet secretly. He left for basic training with the army and I tried to move on with you. I soon found out I was pregnant and thought perhaps you might marry me if you thought the baby was yours.

I'm so ashamed of my actions. I was scared and confused and didn't want to be alone.

Jonathan has since contacted me and professed his love for me. He is happy about the baby and by the time you get this I will already be on my way to meet him. We will be married soon.

I'm so very sorry and I hope you and Mia can find happiness.

A huge grin split Sam'a face. He was sitting in his truck reading the letter he had just pulled from the mailbox.

Sam slammed he truck into gear and raced for Mia's.

"Mia! Babe? Where are you?" Sam yelled as soon as he stepped in the house.

"Sam, what's wrong?" She called as she raced down the stairs. She saw the way he tore into the yard. When she was close enough, she could see the grin across his chiseled face. He was waving a creased piece of notebook paper.

"Read this. Read it." He insisted and thrust the letter out to her.

She began to read the letter and her eyebrows arch upwards as she read it.

"Oh my. Oh wow." She stuttered. "I'm in total shock."

"Yeah, me too. Do you know what this means? This means we get to start our forever with a clean slate. No past just our present and our incredible future."

"Yes, our forever future. Come here, you. We have some celebrating to do."

He was next to her and wrapping his arms around her in a second flat.

"Yes, ma'am..."
