Luke pulled away quickly. I felt my cheeks heat up and I looked down at my lap. Luke's hand was still resting on top of my thigh.
There was tension. I could feel it. I knew I should've just gone home. I couldn't even look at Luke after the kiss.
"Michael?" Luke's voice snapped me out of my thoughts.
"Y-yeah?" I asked, not looking up.
"I think those were my brother's pot brownies." Luke said. I glanced at him for a second. His cheeks were flushed but he had a smile on his face.
I nodded. "Figured." I mumbled. "Luke? I really need to tell you something. I don't care how obvious it is, I just need to tell you."
"Oh." Luke said, moving his hand and sitting back. "Of course. Go ahead."
