"I don't want to go on another blind date." I whine as I playfully punch my best friend.
"Too bad." Laughed my best friend.
"Ugh. Fine. Where do I go?" I say.
I was never going to win this argument.
"At the restaurant down town." She said. "He'll be here to pick you up soon."
"Fine." I mumble.
Seconds later, there was a knock at the door.
"I'll get it!" My friend screamed.
"Great." I say. I patted down my clothes and walked to the door.
"Hi." The guy says awkwardly.
"Hey..." I say.
"Um... I'm Sean. But you can call me jack." Jack says.
"OK jack." I say bitterly.
I know it wasn't his fault, I was just really mad at (bf).
"(Bf) told me about you. And she told you about where we're going, right?" Jack asked as we hopped into his car.
"Yeah." I say.
"But I know that your not the fancy type so I thought we would go go-karting. Is that ok?" He said looking at me instead of the road.
"Sure!" I say. Suddenly all my bitterness went away.
