The trees were like the ocean waves, surrounding the area where you couldn't see the sky and the sun was being covered by blankets apon blankets of leaves, which made Phil very happy, he took off his hood and took a deep breath in, taking in his surroundings. Phil looked behind too find Dan taking deep breaths in and wheezing a bit. Phil gave him a smirk as Dan squatted down.
"I guess you could say that you don't have the body type of Jacob" Phil said chuckling
Dan stood up and gave Phil a death glare
"And your not as sparkly as Edward Cullen but you don't see me breathing down your neck about it" Dan crossed his arms
"For your information vampires were never meant to sparkle in the sun, their meant to burn" Phil snorted
"And not all werewolves are body builders, some werewolves can get tired easily" Dan said folding his arms
Phil rolled his eyes
"Come on we're not getting any where near the castle by arguing, let's go"
Dan walked up to Phil and started to walk next to him
Dan stopped for a second and began too stare at a rabbit
Phil, realizing Dan disappeared looked back at him
"Dan I know what your thinking, don't you even dare" Phil said walking back towards Dan
Dan couldn't help it though he had this urge to chase this rabbit and so he did
He first started to growl at it to show that he was the predator, showing his teeth he began to creep up behind the rabbit, his teeth turning into fangs.
Dan then began to chase the rabbit down leaving Phil in the dust.
"Dan, Dan wait up!" Phil yelled chasing after him as quick as he could
Then all of a sudden Phil heard loud whimpering, it sounded just like a dog but he knew it was Dan
Phil quickly ran and found Dan sitting on a log, one foot crossed over to his left leg.
Dan was holding his bleeding ankle and whimpering.Dan then began to howl very loudly
Phil freaking out ran over to Dan and covered his mouth
"Shush before the villagers hear you, if they hear a wolf they will hunt it down and kill it, and since that wolf is you I suggest you keep your howling to your self"
Dan with tears in his eyes nodded slowly
Phil hated being cross with his best friend, but it was for his protection
Phil uncovered Dan's mouth
What happened?!"Phil asked
"I was chasing the rabbit when I tripped and fell into this thorny plant" Dan said pointing to it
Phil looked at the plant and was shocked
"Oh no, it can't be, that's the rare silver plant" Phil said worried
"This is not good, this is not good!!!" Phil said pulling at his black hair
"Can you stand?" Phil asked
Dan tried to stand but he fell back down in agony and started to whimper
"What does this plant do?" Dan asked through deep breathes
"I heard that werewolf hunters would put them in their bullets so they could watch the "demon" suffer before it died slowly" Phil said looking at Dan
Dan got wide eyed
"Oh no I can't die, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to chase that rabbit I couldn't help it" Dan covering up his face and sobbing
Phil squatted down and hugged Dan tightly
"Don't beat your self over this"
Phil let go of Dan
" Come on let's get to the village near by and see if we can find some help"
Phil said this as he stood up and helped Dan to his feet.
Dan wincing in pain began to whimper even harder as he felt the thorns dig into his skin.
Phil led Dan to a tiny village called Lutan
It was a tiny place that still looked like it should be in the 1800's with its tiny houses and horses every where, Phil was afraid that every village would look like this
Then Phil's brain clicked
"I remember hearing about Lutan, there was this nice shaman named Yanma who came to the castle in Transylvania back in 1898 when I was terribly sick with blood poisoning" Phil said
"I hate to disappoint you Phil....." Dan stopped for a second to groan in pain. " but I think that Yanma might be dead "
Phil looked at Dan
"I know, but I hope she still has some family living in town"
Dan groaned in frustration
"I highly doubt that"
Phil led Dan through the town, watchful eyes stared in curiosity and worry.
A lady who was a very tan Indian woman came up to them, she had chocolate brown hair that tossed into a quick braid that went down her right shoulder and green eyes, the exact color of the trees in the forest,
"Is he ok, do you both need some help?" She asked holding her basket of fruit closely like we're going to steal it from her.
"I need the areas Shaman, do you know of one?" Phil asked
The lady smiled
"Oh yes that would be me"
