"Come on Aster," I growl, grabbing his hand.
"We're leaving." Aster glares at Logan as we pass by.
Once we get out of sight of Logan, I practically fall apart. Tears fill my eyes and I crumple to the ground.
"What's wrong Sage," Aster says, hugging me. I don't respond.
"I can't help you if I don't know what's wrong," he explains.
"I don't want it to be true," I say, "I didn't want the things you said about Logan to be true. But they were." Aster's eyes soften.
"I just thought you would like to know the truth," he announces. I nod.
"I understand." Aster uses his thumbs to wipe away my tears and the he helps me stand up.
"Ready to go?" Aster questions me.
"Ready," I say.
Then we head along, when I hear movement coming from behind us.
