Narrator's POV

It was 12 in the afternoon. The judge had just finished settling himself in as the jury and audience filled. Lauren sat beside Carmen. Her fingers fidgeting with the hem of her black skirt as her heart was erratically beating out of her chest.

The blonde was still not anywhere to be seen. But Lauren wasn't surprised, she was always one to make an entrance. And just as the judge was about to suggest a reschedule, Cara walked in with a confident strut and a lawyer beside her.

"Someone's fashionably late." Camila couldn't help but mutter.

A sly smirk formed on Cara's lips at the sound of her words just before she took her seat.

Lauren's breath hitched as the demeanor of the whole room changed. She hoped that Cara wouldn't show up. She hoped that maybe just maybe, they could postpone the trial, but there was no way that was even an option now.

"Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. If you would please stand up and raise your right hand as the clerk issues the oath."

Everyone but the audience did so.

"Do each of you solemnly swear or affirm that you will well and truly address the issues between Lauren Jauregui and the defendant Cara Delevigne and run a true verdict under the U.S. and Florida state law so help you God."

"I do." They swore.

The judge signaled for everyone to take a seat before he cleared his throat and continued, "Jury, you have been selected to try the case and allegations against Miss. Delevigne under the offenses of rape and having sex with an under aged minor."

He put on his glasses and squinted at the paper in front of him before he spoke again, "Due to the time schedule we designed, this case will be resolved by the end of today. The charges pressed against Miss. Delevigne will be reveled at the conclusion of this case. Your decision should only be based upon the evidence and law provided which I will explain later on in this trail. It is my responsibility to explain to you the laws that apply and it is your responsibility to decide what the facts of the case may be and to apply the law that I instruct you on in order to reach a lawful verdict."

Lauren couldn't help but feel like she was suffocating in the suit she wore. The judge's words scared the crap out of her because they made everything real. And Lauren couldn't help but fear what was real. But Camila's words from yesterday, offered her some sort of comfort.

"We will now begin with the opening statements. Carmen de la Piedad will start us off."

Camila's aunt stood up and walked over to face the jury. She crossed her hands before she looked up at them and began, "Ahh, summer. A time where there are barely any responsibilities or burdens to stress over. A time that you're supposed to remotely remember forever. But Lauren Jauregui, didn't have a choice but to remember the summer that she was violated and repeatedly seduced by her so called friend, Cara Delevigne. That was the very burden she carried with her since and we are here today to fight for the justice that Miss. Jauregui has been deprived of for all these years."

"Thank you. Now we will hear from Lawrence Rigglmen who will be defending Miss. Delevigne."

A man with slicked back hair stood up before he addressed the jury, "Friendship. A word that can go a long way and can sometimes be confusing. In the summer of the incident, Miss. Delevigne had just come back to Miami from her first year at Cambridge. She didn't expect to befriend Miss. Jauregui, but it became inevitable since the girls had become so close in such a short time. Miss. Delevigne loved Miss. Jauregui, in fact she loved her so much that she practically became her little sister. But as their frienship deepened, so did feelings. However, those feelings were one sided and were directed towards Miss. Delevigne. Being the very appealing woman she is, Lauren became smitten and attempted to seduce Miss. Delevigne. Due to her values and obvious morality, Miss. Delevigne never engaged in ANY type of sexual or intimate activity with Miss. Jauregui and we are here to defend ourselves from these false accusa-"

"OBJECTION!" Camila yelled out.

Everyone turned to look at the brunette in confusion. The judge rolled his eyes at her before he said, "You're not allowed to interrupt the opening statement Miss Please take a seat."

"Oh god." Lauren embarrasingly murmured as she sunk into her seat.

Camila turned beat red when she realized how stupid that was and then took a seat.

"Okay now that the disruption had been taken care of, please continue."

"I've said everything I needed too, your honor." Mr. Rigglmen said.

"Well, will Miss. Jauregui's witnesses come up to testify?"

"Yes, your honor. We call Clara Jauregui up to the stand." Carmen said.

Clara stood up and walked over to testify. Carmen followed in suit and then cleared her throat before she said, "Could you please tell the jury what Lauren was like before the incident?"

"Lauren...was a very happy and carefree girl. Although she had to deal with the absence of her father and the pressures of being the heir of the company, she always managed to have a smile on her face. Whether she was happy or not, because she just wanted to make everyone else happy. And, when I was busy myself, she took care of her siblings. She was a good, innocent girl without a bad bone in her body, that is, until Cara entered her life."

"What do you mean by that?" Carmen asked.

"Well, Cara herself then was a very adventurous trouble maker who went out of her way to seek my daughter's attention. Initially, Lauren didn't seem that interested in her. But Cara was very adamant, and charming, and before we knew it, they were the best of friends. And back then I thought they were just friends. And I tried not to assume anything else because I was sure Lauren was straight. But Cara, obviously wasn't. And somehow, Cara dragged Lauren out of the closet by the time she disappeared."

"Are you saying that Cara is the reason why Lauren changed during and even after the incident?"

"Most definitely. Lauren just wasn't the same since Cara came back that summer."

"What were the notable changes in her behavior?"

"Lauren became hostile and went into a trouble maker phase with Cara. In fact, the police showed up at my door with both of them three times that summer."

"So are you affirming that when Miss.Delevigne showed up, Lauren changed?"

"Yes. Especially after the incident. She was very distant, cold and just angry. And at first I thought it was hormones or the pent up rage she had towards her father, but her excessive sexual behavior after the incident explained the psychological effects it left on her now."

"Psychological effects?"

"Yes. In fact, Lauren's therapist even confirmed it."

"Are the files present with us today?"

"Yes ma'm."

Carmen walked up to the judge where he handed her the paperwork. She then gave the jury the paperwork to look over as the judge reviewed the copy.

"As you can see, clearly Miss. Jauregui's post behavior is due traced to the incident and explain a lot about her character. The papers right in front of you affirm that."

"Now, with that said, I suppose Mr. Riggleman can cross testify the witness."

"Very well then." Cara's lawyer said before he cleared his throat.

A satisfied smirks spread across Cara's face.

"So, these papers, who were they signed by?"

"Her doctor."

"How long has she been seeing this doctor?"

"A little over a month. Therefore there is no bias and ill judgment here sir."

"I wasn't assuming-"

"I know how you people work, I've seen enough law and order in my time." Clara said.

"Well, could you please explain what Lauren was like after she met Camila Cabello?"

"Camila brings out the best in her."

"What do you mean by that?"

"Lauren's never been happier than she's been with this girl in her entire life. Camila has been there for her through everything and has even helped her overcome her fears and face the incident. I don't know where we'd be without her."

The lawyer seemed upset because he didn't gather the dirt he was hoping for. Lauren's mother was ahead of the game and saw through his tricks. So there was no way he had a chance with her.

"Very well. That's all I needed to ask."

Carmen smirked in success as Clara made her way down from the stand.

"However, now I would like to call Lauren's therapist up to the stand." Mr. Rigglmen said.

He made his way up there and crossed his arms.

"So doctor, could you accurately explain the diagnosis you gave to your patient Lauren Jauregui?"

"She suffered from trauma which then lead to depression and bi polar behavior."

"Suffered?"

"Yes. She has gotten much better since her first appointment."

"Don't you think that she got better too quickly?"

"No. Lauren had been going through this for years and through this last year, her girlfriend had been helping her through her issues and it has been an on going process for a while now. Therefore, her recovery does not surprise me."

"Not at all?"

"No, love can do amazing things."

"Love?" He almost laughed, "How so?"

"Love is the only thing that can reach places words or pills could never touch."

"..."

Lauren smiled at his words before he turned to look back at her girlfriend. Camila smiled back at her.

"That doesn't sound scientifically possible." Cara's lawyer couldn't help but comment.

"It doesn't have too."

Mr. Rigglmen was angry. But only because he knew that the jury was becoming convinced.

"I'd like to call Lauren Jauregui to the stand. If Miss. De la Piedad wishes not to cross examine."

"I think he said everything he needed to say." Carmen said.

The judge cleared his throat, "Very well then. Miss. Jauregui please come up to the stand."

Lauren's fists clenched the fabric of her skirt before she took a deep breath and made her way up there.

When she did, she meet several pairs of eyes that made her uneasy. But when she found Camila's loving brown eyes, she felt a huge rush of relief flow through her.

"So Lauren, have you ever..." He said walking with his hands behind his back, "done any drugs?" He sharply turned to ask.

Lauren hesitated before she answered, "Yes."

"What kind of drugs?"

"Does it really matter?"

"Yes, in fact it does. Tell the jury what you've consumed."

"I've done marijuana and..." Lauren paused.

She met Camila's eyes again.

"And cocaine."

The jury gasped.

"But it was only because I couldn't handle what happened to me. Mentally, I wasn't emotionally stable. I mean how do you deal with being rapped and lied too?"

Cara's lawyer ignored the question and asked, "Do you continue to use such substances?"

"No. Camila helped me get off them."

"What kind of example do you think you set for your siblings?"

"A terrible one?" Lauren said, "I mean what do you expect me to say? Of course I was a terrible example."

"Then how can we trust you and your accusations against Cara Delevigne?"

"I'm not asking you to trust me. I'm asking you to believe me. I know I haven't proven to be the most responsible or reliable person, but I'm asking you all to listen to me when I say that I'm not lying about what happened to me. And if I'm not an example of what it means to be someone with many layers, then Cara sure is. She may seem like the perfect girl, with the perfect life, but you have no idea who she really is under all her power and money. But that is not your fault. And it isn't because you don't get to see or experience her as a person but rather just a figure. She's not who she says she is.

"What does that mean?"

"She's become the person her fathers always wanted her to be." Lauren paused, "The person's she's never wanted to be."

"Are you kidding me? But she's a millionaire."

"Yeah, but it's not just about the money."

"Of course it-"

"Cara." Lauren interrupted.

The blonde jumped up in surprise as the crowd held their breath.

"Are you happy?"

"Lauren...don't do this now."

She ignored her request, "Are. You. Happy?"

"Your under oath Miss.Delevigne." Carmen pointed out.

"Yes but she's not inclined to answer-"

"But she still has the right to-"

"No." She suddenly said in between their bickering.

"What was that?" Carmen asked.

Everyone turned to look at her.

Cara looked down at her lap and closed her eyes before she said, "No. I'm..I'm not happy."

"Exactly." Lauren spit before she walked off and out of the court room.

"I'd like to call for a recess." Carmen said before following after her.

Camila was already out the door and when Carmen approached them, the brown eyed girl assured her that she had it under control. Camren knew that her niece was the only person who could only get through to Lauren, so she stepped back and let them talk.

"I just...I just don't get it." Lauren frustratedly sighed, "If she's not happy then why the fuck is she-"

"Lauren-"

"And the fact that she-"

"Babe-"

"Ugh, I want to punch her in the-"

"LAUREN." Camila called one last time.

The green eyed girl met her gaze.

"Are you listening to yourself right now?"

"..."

"You're asking questions that have no way in being answered today. And I know they're driving you insane but focus on the task here. Don't let her get to you. You know this is what she wants."

Lauren pushed her hair back and then bit her thumb nail.

"Lo..."

"I just don't get it you know? And I'm really scared Camz. I don't know if I can handle being in there with her any longer."

"You've done it for an hour already. More than you've ever lasted. Don't give up now. Don't let her win. Just keep you eyes on me. I'll be in the same spot, silently cheering you on through every second of it."

Lauren couldn't help but smile at that.

"What?"

"Silently cheering me on?"

"Yeah-"

"You're so cute Camz."

Camila hit Lauren's arm and then pointed at her, "This isn't the time to flirt with me."

"Well that's going to bruise."

"And so is my heart because you're being ridiculous right now and I really want you to win."

"I want to win too. But you know what I was thinking about while everyone was talking?" She asked, "I was thinking that even if I won, would it really matter? What type of closure would that give me?"

"The security to know that she could never hurt you or anyone again."

"That for sure. But will this decision heal me? What if it doesn't- what if-"

"You're thinking too much Lauren. We have to take things one step at a time and you're already ahead of the game."

"..."

"You just don't give yourself enough credit for it." Camila said before she paused, "Like overcoming every obstacle you've come across. Especially like last night..."

Lauren shyly smiled, "Oh yeah, last night..."

"Doing that, took a lot of courage. Because I know how hard it was for you, and the fact that you took that risk, already says a lot about you recovery."

"..."

"You know I'm right."

"I know."

"Then?"

"I need some encouragement."

"Lauren we can't do that here."

The older girl playful rolled her eyes before she wrapped her arm around Camila's waist, leaned foward and held the back of her head. She then passionately crash her lips against hers before she breathed, "I was aiming for a kiss."

Camila giggled at her girlfriend's sappy move before Lauren helped her up and planted a caressed her cheek.

"You got this okay? Don't forget to keep your eyes on me."

"Always." Lauren replied.

Camila then gave her aunt a thumbs up before she started to walk back to the court room.

"Hey Cabello." Lauren called.

Camila turned around.

"Nice ass." She said with a smug smirk.

Both of unaware that maybe those were the last exchange of words they would ever say share, Camila rolled her eyes be, pushed down her skirt and then opened the court room door for Lauren to enter. With a final deep breath, the green eyed girl walked in and faced the several pairs of eyes glued on her. She cautiously made her way back to her seat as the judge dismissed the recess.

"With that said, does the defendants side wish to bring one more witness or person to testify?"

"Yes, your honor, we would like to call Michael Jauregui to the stand."

Lauren's heart stopped.

The doors opened and reveled her father. He walked up towards the stand as he was making a business call. When he made his way up he hung up and stared at his daughter. The disapproval and annoyance of this inconvenience he had to be apart of.

Lauren clenched her jaw.

"So Mr. Jauregui could you explain what exactly happened the night Lauren claims she told you what had happened?"

"I don't recall."

"What was that?"

"I don't recall a time when she came into my office and told me that."

"Then could you explain your daughters behavior and possible accusation?"

"She's a trouble making drug addict who's trying to escape her faith."

"That's a false accusation. Lauren Jauregui is clean and her records prove-"

Mr.Rigglmen cleared his throat, "What faith exactly?" He continued to ask.

"To become the heir of my company."

"And why wouldn't she want that?"

"Why don't you ask her?"

"You don't have to answer." Carmen whispered to Lauren.

Lauren shook her head, "No, I want too." She said before she stood up and replied, "Because I never wanted it."

"Never wanted to be an heir?"

"Yeah. I didn't choose to run a company. To become this person who I'm not and who I never want to be. To be this wealthy, known person. To have it all. I didn't choose any of that. And quite frankly I don't want any of it."

"Then what do you want?"

"I want to live my life. That's it. I just want to live it."

"..."

"I want to live it with the person I love and indulge myself in every possible thing I could be, everything
I always wanted to be. Become the person who Camila inspires me to be. And do that while pursuing musical engineering."

Djing. Camila couldn't help but correct.

"Is that too much to ask?"

"..."

"That's the thing about you children these days. Always dreaming. But where has that taken anyone?"

"It's taken them a lot of places. And you know what? That is the very realism..." She paused and pointed at him, "The very realism that kills dreams and forces you to falsify your own path."

"..."

"Because think about it. How many times have you been told to go after something that is more reliable or safer?"

"Too many." Someone in the audience murmured.

"The only reason people tell you that is because they don't believe in you and because they think going after dreams is impossible but that's not true. And that is why the greatest are the great in other areas other than education or business. And they are great, because they believe in themselves. And maybe they didn't always believe in themselves, but there must have been someone who believed in them even before they did." Lauren said looking directly at Camila, "And that's why...that's why I don't want to become my father."

The judges eye brows rose in utter surprise of the green eyed girl's courage.

Mr. Jauregui sighed, "Are we done here?"

Mr. Rigglmen clenched his jaw before he said, "I suppose."

"I'd like to call Cara Delevigne to the stand." Carmen said.

Without another word, the blonde girl stood up and walked over. Lauren looked down at her lap when Cara walked right past her.

"So Cara, do you have any statements you'd like to ask before questioning?"

"Yes. First off, I want everyone to understand that what Lauren claimed we had was nothing more than a friendship. She just misinterpreted it. And I have no idea why she is making things up but just now that you can still get out of this while you can."

"..."

I don't think she's going to back out of anything. But sweet of you to offer. Now, as for questioning, I wanted to ask what interest you had on Lauren when you first met her?"

"Well what can I say? I thought she was interesting."

"Why so?"

Cara hesitated before she faked a smile and said, "Because...she kept to herself a lot but I knew that there was more to her than that."

"More to her?"

"Y-You know like as a person. And then I started to become good friends with her because she didn't treat me like I was Mr. Delevigne's daughter but rather just another girl."

"Because I never cared about any of that stuff." Lauren clarified

"It was still odd." Cara commented, "I mean I knew we were friends but you thought more than you should have."

Bull shit. If anything this was the other way around! You forced me to come out of the closet!

Order! Order in the court! The judge said as he hit the gabble.

"You're not allowed to interrupt miss Delevigne while she is testifying Lauren."

"Sorry."

"Now do you have any evidence suggesting your accusations Cara?"

"Despite her drug problem no. But do you really need anymore explanation than that? She's a drug addict for husks sake"

Very well that's enough. If there is no other witness or person to testify then-

"There is one more person." Carmen interrupted.

Everyone turned to look in her direction.

"I call Consuela Alvarez to the stand."

Everyone furrowed their brows in confusion at the unknown name.

Lauren herself was confused until she remembered who the woman was.

"Mrs.Alvarez could you please tell the court your relation to the Jauregui family?"

"Yes. I was their house keeper ever since the couple moved into their first home."

"Was?"

"Yes, I was fired shortly after I heard things Mr.Jauregui didn't want me to hear. At first he bribed me but I refused and after that, I was fired and deported back to my country because Mr.Jauregui set me up."

"Really now?"

"Yes I have the documents to prove it." She said pulling them out of her bag.

"These are deportation papers and clearly you can see that I was reported by Mr.Jauregui shortly after the incident."

The audience gasped.

Mr. Jauregui laughed, "This doesn't prove anything!"

"Actually it does." Carmen said holding up the paper, "It is dated here that you reported her a week after it happened."

"Anything could have happened in a week."

"And that's my point. It took you a whole week to not only find out Consuela knew, but to bribe her and then go down to desperate measures to make sure that she would never harm your family name."

Mr.Jauregui rolled his eyes.

"And clearly, due to this Consuela Alvarez proves to be the one and only witness of that conversation. Now, could you please explain to us what happened?"

"Hours before that the incident happened, I was asked by Mr.Jauregui to take the night off-"

"But only because Mr.Delevigne told me that I didn't give you enough breaks. And I figured that he was right."

"Mr.Jauregui." The judge scolded.

"Anyway, so I ended up taking the night off and then I realized I forgot my wallet so I went back later that night to retrieve it and I saw the blonde one run out of the room and heard Lauren crying. At first i didn't think much of that because I would have never imagined anyone hurting Lauren, but then, the next morning as I was heading to clean the bathroom, I saw Lauren come out of her room with her shirt ripped and her eyes red and puffy as she was shaking uncontrollably and that's when I knew what had happened. I helped her into the shower and gave her fresh new clothes to change into. After that she went to go talk to her father and I waited for her outside the door, because well she needed someone. And she did tell her father what had happened, and he didn't believe her. Not one bit. And days after that happened, I confronted him about it and he bribed me on the spot. And after I refused the next thing I knew I was fired and being shipped back to my country."

"And after that, the Jauregui's moved into a new home. Is that or is that not correct Mrs.Jauregui?" Carmen asked

"Yes." Clara confirmed from the audience.

"And since, Mr.Jauregui had been deceiving his wife into thinking that everything was always fine and this lead her to think that Lauren's odd behavior was due to hormones or a coming of age. However it was not until the blonde reappeared when Lauren was inclined to reveal what had happened to her mother with her girlfriend's support."

"Girlfriend?" The judge asked.

"Yes. Now I would like to call Camila Cabello to the stand." Carmen said.

Camila froze. She didn't know Carmen was going to call her up. Heck, she didn't even know Consuela even existed.

"Camila?" Carmen called again

The brown eyed girl snapped out of it. With one glance at Lauren's eyes, she built up the courage to stand up and walk over.

"So Miss.Cabello we have learned through these testimonies that you helped Lauren Jauregui through this situation is that correct?"

"Yes."

"Now, as I can see Mr.Rigglmen over there is probably dying to ask this question. Why?"

"..."

"Why did you help her even though you knew the mess she had become?"

"Because I love her." Camila simply answered, "Why else?"

Carmen smiled at her nieces heart felt answer.

"She changed my life before she even realized it. And because of her, I'm not a mess anymore. So I wanted to do the same. I wanted to help the person I love fix herself."

"But how could you possibly love someone like her?" Mr. Jauregui couldn't help but ask, "I just don't understand. She destroys everything."

"Maybe that's why I love her." Camila quipped, "Because she's destructively beautiful. But only in the way that she still manages to bring the beauty out of everything else she touches. Because that is the thing Mr. Jauregui. Things will break. But what is beautiful is how that person fixes it, and the mended cracks left behind to show that beauty."

"..."

"Anymore questions?"

No one bothered to ask and Camila smiled to herself before she met Lauren's gaze and winked.

Lauren smiled at her girlfriend before Carmen allowed her to sit down.

"Now ladies and gentlemen and even everyone else in between, I will close this case on behalf of Lauren Jauregui to say a few things. Yes, Lauren did drugs. But only as her only mechanism to cope with a world that silenced her suffering. And thanks to the power of love, Lauren has been able to overcome the obstacles brought by the incident and is here today to be granted the Justice that she rightfully deserves. Thank you."

"Any closing statements by the defendant?"

"There is nothing else to say but that Miss. Delevigne is not guilty. Look over the case and please see that this figure would never commit such a crime. Thank you."

"What a weak closing statement." Carmen couldn't help but murmur.

Lauren cracked a smile.

"If no one has anything else to add, the jury will brief over the case."

"..."

"Perfect. I call for a recess." The judge said before he hit his gabble.

"Wait." One of the jury women said.

Everyone stopped in their tracks.

"We don't need any time to discuss this. While Carmen called for a recess, we discussed the case some and now with the last few testimonies we heard, I think we can all agree on the verdict." She said as everyone nodded their heads in approval.

"Your honor, the jury finds Miss. Cara Delevigne guilty under the offense of rape and sex with an under aged minor."

Some of the audience gasped in surprise as Lauren, her family, Camila, and Carmen all sighed in relief.

"Miss. Delevigne please stand up."

She did so.

"Under the U.S. and state law, I sentence you to prison for life. Not only for your cruel, and disgusting acts, but for anyone who had done what you have and the court had failed to correctly and undoubtedly sentence." The jury woman said before the judge hit his gabble.

Cara clenched her jaw before a soft smile traced her lips. As the police office was making her way towards her, she looked at Lauren. She then ran over to her and handed her a piece of paper. Lauren didn't move. The police man managed to catch up to her to pin her up against Lauren's table.

Cara grunted and then turned her head up as she resisted. She gazed into Lauren's green eyes one more time before she gratefully smiled and said, "Thank you."

The police man then pulled her away and the paper landed on the table. Lauren stood there petrified and confused. When the judge dismissed everyone, Camila attempted to get to her girlfriend but she was the first one out the door. Struggling to get through the crowd of people and reporters, Camila spotted a girl. She ran to her and tightly hugged her. When the girl turned around, Camila realized that it wasn't Lauren, but rather Taylor.

"Shit. I thought you were Lauren. Where is she?"

"I don't know. We can't find her either."

"Try calling her."

And she did. But nothing.

"Ugh." Camila groaned, "It was probably
because of what she said to her."

"What?"

"Cara. Before she was taken away, she said or gave something to her."

"When she ran up to her?"

"Yes."

"Fuck."

"I know. She probably said something to mess with her head. And now she's fucking gone!" Camila groaned again.

"Calm down. I'm sure she's around here somewhere."

"No. You don't get it. When Lauren does things like this. It's usually a bad thing. It means she's not thinking straight."

"Shit. That's true. Okay well if we were Lauren, and we were upset where would we go?"

Right then and there Camila knew the answer to that question.

"OH MY GOD TAYLOR YOU'RE A GENIUS!"
Camila yelled, before she ran to find her friends.

With a few phone calls, Camila was able to locate her friends within the mass of people.

"Why are you running around everywhere?" Dinah asked.

"I can't find Lauren."

"Uh oh." Ally said.

"But I think I know where she is. You have to take me there."

"Right now?" Ally asked.

Camila nodded.

"Okay, I'll take some of you in my car and Mani will take the rest." Ally said before they made their way to her car and drove towards their destination.

Once there, Camila ran out of the car and straight to the one place she knew Lauren would be. She used the best memory she had of the path to find it and desperately ran to what seemed the edge of the world. The harsh wind angrily blowing in her hair as the grey sky cracked. She didn't stop, not even when when her chest ached because of the terrible scenarios she imagined in her head. Her legs were starting to feel heavy as they powered through the force of the sand. And just as her uncoordinated, and unconditioned body was going to collapse. She saw her. Looking over the water with no feeling what so ever. Her green eyes lost and hypnotized by the crashing dark blue waves.

And this...this was the moment, when Camila realized that sometimes beautiful things aren't meant to last forever. And that sometimes, they're taken away a little to quickly to even understand that.
