"Harry!" said Cho.
"Ginny!" yelled Dean.
"Please listen to me!" They said in unison.
"No!" Harry and I said exclaimed.
"Cho this is all your fault!" said Dean pulling his hair.
"It's not her fault! You're the one who ran away with her. I saw you grabbing her hand and running out the door." I fired back.
"I thought it was you." he stammered.
"Oh really?"
"I promise you. Ginny look, I like you a lot. Please don't let this get in the way of us."
"Dean. You've done it before. Whose to say you won't do it again? I can't trust you. Please don't make this difficult."
He walked away leaving Cho alone with Harry and I.
"Harry..." she started.
"What?" he snapped.
"I know I don't deserve your forgiveness but I'm truly sorry. It was Dean. He pressured me into all of it."
"It didn't seem like you were trying to stop him."
"I-"
"Let's go Ginny." He took my hand as we went up to the Common room.
No one was back yet, Hermione was still in the library I'm guessing. So it was just Harry and me.... again.
"Are you alright?" I asked him.
"Yeah I guess so. What about you?"
"I don't know. I'm not that mad actually."
"What?"
"Well, I just don't think I ever really liked Dean. He liked me first and asked me out so I just blindly agreed thinking I liked him too."
"Oh." he said sitting on the couch.
"I really liked her."
"I know you did." I spoke putting my arm around him. "I'm sorry."
"Don't be. I think we're better off without them. I mean you, you deserve someone special. Not Dean. Someone who would kiss you every single day. Someone who would tell you they love you every night just to make sure you knew it. Someone who would look at you like you were the most beautiful girl every time they saw you."
"Well, I'm not sure I deserve someone that special. I can't even think of someone who would do that just for me. Trust me I'm not worth all that."
"I beg to differ."
I looked at him just to make sure he was talking and that I wasn't imagining it.
"What?"
"I'm serious. You're an amazing person Ginny. You're smart, beautiful. Why would anyone be stupid enough to ever let you go?" his voice became quieter and quieter.
"Well what about you Harry? You don't deserve someone awful either."
"I don't know. I just might."
"Why would you say something like that?"
"I have to tell you something. I've been keeping it from you, from everyone actually."
"Go on."
"You're going to think I'm insane."
"Tell me." I urged.
"Fine.... I don't think I'm in the right place."
"What?" I asked utterly confused.
"You're at Hogwarts. You ARE at the right place..."
"No ugh that came out wrong. I think I'm in the wrong present?"
I raised my eyebrows.
"You probably think I'm crazy."
"Not crazy just I don't understand."
"Listen to me Ginny," he cupped my cheek and brought me closer to him.
"This isn't right. I wasn't supposed to be dating Cho and you weren't supposed to be with Dean. Hermione isn't supposed to be with Malfoy and Ron isn't supposed to be with Lavender. It's all backwards. It's wrong."
"I know. That's why we broke up with them."
"Listen to me, yesterday I had this really strange dream. I was a baby. I was in my crib. My mother was crying and someone shot a spell at her and she fell before me. She died right in front of me. Then the person who was cloaked tried to kill me too. But it didn't work. I got a scar on my forehead."
"Your mother is alive though... and you have no scar." I said to him.
"I know! I feel like its a sign or something."
"A sign for what?"
"Don't you see?"
"Somebody did something Ginny. Don't you care?"
"I don't know."
"Has anything like this happened to you?"
"Well.... I've had these strange deja vu moments that I just shook off. One of them was this really big museum and we were standing in front of it. It felt as if were trying to look for something. like..."
"A ring." he finished off.
"How did you know?"
"I had the same thought."
"Oh my god! You understand then." I said hugging him tightly.
"I thought I was mental or something. I'm so glad you can relate." A few moments passed as I inhaled his minty scent.
"Gin."
"Yeah?" I asked him taking a deep breath.
"Are you smelling me?"
"Ew what no? Get away from me. Don't be so conceited Harry." I gently pushed him away as my cheeks flared up.
"What?"
"What?"
"Anyways, what are we supposed to do about it?" he asked me.
"Well I reckon its about this ring. So maybe we should go to the one person who knows everything."
"Yeah but she won't get it will she?"
"Only one way to find out."

"HERMIONE!" I yelled.
"I'm over here!" she said, we followed her voice in the corner of the library. She practically lives here.
"We need your help." I looked at Harry anxiously. She looked at both of us and thought for a moment.
"You guys are finally dating and now need me to help you sneak around because of Ron?" she asked casually.
"What? No!"
"Oh... awkward."
"Um okay so well you see-"
"My parents are supposed to be dead. Dumbledore is supposed to be the headmaster. You're not supposed to be with Malfoy."
"Excuse me? Your parents are very much alive. Dumbledore hasn't even thought about being the headmaster because we've already got Professor McGonagall. And don't tell me who I'm not supposed to like." she stated.
"I told you she wouldn't get it!" groaned Harry.
"Hermione, we're not in the right .... present. I believe."
"Okay..."
"I'm serious. We've been acting all weird lately and thats why!"
"How about you let me look into it? And I'll catch up with you guys later."
I sighed and nodded and Harry and I walked outside.
I took his hand and dragged him up the hill and we sat right below a large tree. The sky was gray and cloudy today. It would start raining soon. But I didn't care. The wind crept up my bare arms.
Shoot it's colder than I thought it would be.
"Here take this." said Harry handing me his sweater as I thanked him and slipped it on.
Well that was odd.
"No it wasn't. You don't just expect me to let you freeze do you?"
"AH! How are you doing that!?!?" I said crawling away from him.
"Doing what?"
"I haven't talked in the last five minutes Harry! All of those things were in my mind. I was only thinking them!"
"What?" he said looking confused.
I realized how crazy I must've sounded.
"Sorry it must be in my head."
I stayed quiet and tried not to think of anything else.
Why is she so jumpy?
I'm not jumpy.

No I'm not.
Wait how are you doing that Harry?
Doing what?
Talking with your mouth closed?
I'm not talking with my mouth closed....
I screamed as I ran down the hill not looking back. How did that happen and more importantly why?
"Ginny!" I heard a voice yell from the end of the hallway. It was Hermione. I sighed in relief.
"Hermione something weird happened-"
"I know and I think I figured it out. Have you or Harry have any altered life dreams or thoughts?"
"Tons!" I exclaimed.
"That's it then!"
"What? Nevermind just listen. I think Harry and I can read minds."
She raised her eyebrows. "Alright what am I thinking of?"
I tried to scrunch my face up in hopes of her voice but nothing.
"Okay well it happened alright. It was freaky."
"Side effects of another past, present and future may include: Dizziness, dreams of old past, present or future, temporary telepathy or death." she read of her book.
Why is there always death?
I don't know its pretty depressing.
Harry?
Where are you Ginny?
This is getting weird Harry.
Tell me.
I'm with Hermione in front of the Great Hall.
Perfect I'm almost there.
Like he said, he was right there walking quickly towards us.
Hermione handed him the book and I could see his eyebrows furrow in confusion.
"So temporarily we can read each others minds?"
"I guess." shrugged Hermione.
Cool.
Not cool.
Don't be a downer. Think of all the things we can do now.
Oh wow like me telling you to pass the salt without having to open my mouth. Oh my god! Thats great!
Oh shut up!
I smiled at him and he smiled back. Well this was going to be interesting.
