Head down I walked around the floor of New York comic con trying to not be recognised or accidently bump into anyone. Fingers fiddling with the multi coloured rubber bands on my wrists I made my way over to where Arthur Darvill told me he'd be when I text him earlier.
"Hey Arthur" I quietly got out as I approached him pulling my gaze away from my ripped and dirty converse to meet his.
"Oh my goodness Remy" suddenly I was engulfed in a hug causing me to tense up for a few seconds until I relaxed "I haven't seen you since you moved here, how are you?" Arthur asked now holding me at arms length to survey my appearance.
"I'm good" he raised an eyebrow at me reminding me of my Grimm co star David Giuntoli "ok so I'm not good but I'm getting there. I have some time off from filming so I thought I'd come and spend it with my people" I guestured to all the geeks and fangirls walking the floor.
Arthur nodded his head happy with my answer, linking his arm with me Arthur dragged me onto the floor telling me about all the people he's met so far "oh Remy I have to introduce you to someone like right now" I nodded my head swallowing down the anxiety that was starting to bubble up fingers going down to my wrists getting twisted with the rubber bands that decorated them "he's a fellow Brit like us and this is the amazing bit, ok so you remember that series of books you liked The Mortal Instruments" I nodded my head again getting him to continue "well they've turned it into a TV series and he's Jace" my eyes lit up at the thought of there being a TV show of one of my favourite books series.
"You know its all about Alec though Arthur" I told him as he continued to drag me to where this person was "and anyway you haven't told me his name yet you slacker."
"Oh yeah right his name!" Arthur slapped his forehead with the hand that wasn't linked with mine "he's called Dominic Sherwood he's about your age too" it was when his name was finally revealed that Arthur came to a stop
"Who's around my age?" a blonde boy asked grabbing mine and Arthur's attention.
"That would be her" Arthur pushed me forward causing me to stumble slightly "Remy Peterson" I smiled weakly offering a small wave as I was introduced.
"Hi" I got out "I'm Remy but you already know that..." I trailed off awkwardly fingers pulling at the rubber bands.
Dominic laughed amused by my awkwardness "you are adorable. Come on my cast mates are going to love you."
I turned to Arthur as my anxiety rised "don't worry Rem I'm not going anywhere" he soothed noticing my panicked state I nodded my head at his words and reached out towards him grabbing his hand and making him follow me this time as I was introduced to Dominic's cast mates.
"ok so here we have Kat" I smiled and waved as Dominic brought us towards the ginger girl.
"Over here is Alberto."
"Here is Harry" I grinned stepping away from Arthur to hug Harry.
"Long time no see English" Harry greeted me pulling me into a hug.
"How's it going heard you're married now kinda upset that I wasn't invited" I replied greeting him.
"If I remember correctly you were filming anyway."
"Ok yeah that is true."
A throat could be heard clearing in the background. I turned to it noticing Dom and Arthur looking at the two of us in confusion.
"Did I mention I guest starred in an episode of Glee?" I said meekly looking down at my shoes again.
"Well now you have."
I nodded agreeing with Arthur's statement "I guess so"
Harry shook his head in amusement "you are so forgetful"
I pouted and lightly hit his arm at that comment before linking arms with him "come on introduce me to the rest of your cast then Harry, you too Dom"
We then walked over to the two other cast mates that were in the area "this is Emeraude" Harry pointed towards the dark haired girl who turned around from the guy standing next to her and smiled at me
"And this" Dom continued "is my parabatai Matthew" gesturing to a tall dark haired boy
"How are you so sure you two are parabatai I mean do your hearts beat as one in battle?" I retorted allowing my knowledge of the book series to shine through. This comment got me a snort from Matthew who walked up to where we were stood.
"And you are?"
All of my earlier confidence went fingers curling themselves up in the rubber bands that covered both wrists, eyes making contact with the ground Arthur answered for me "this is Remy."
I looked up slightly "hi" I mumbled the obvious change in my behaviour caused the people around me to look at me strangely while Harry and Arthur eyed me with concern "yeah I'm Remy" I slowly looked up to come face to face with a pair of gorgeous I want to say hazel eyes yep in my mind they're hazel tearing my gaze away from them I came across Matthew staring at me with an unreadable expression something that put my anxiety further on edge. If I'm not careful I'll end up having a panic attack "can you erm not stare" I mumbled "it doesn't do my anxiety any good" I further explained to stop me from coming across as rude
"Oh yeah right sorry" he spoke in a rush flustered quickly averting his gaze making me smile at his actions.
"Hey don't worry it's cool, I'm low on my meds so I'm kind of on edge today anyway" Arthur looked like he wanted to throttle me in that moment
"The heck Remy!"
"Funnily enough that's exactly what David said to me when he called me this morning" I tried to joke
"Hang on you have a boyfriend?" Matthew inquired with what I hoped was a disappointed tone but that's probably just wishful thinking on my behalf
"No he's my roommate and co star on Grimm, since I have severe anxiety I'm not allowed to live on my own and you know I'm British so no family in the states so yeah David kinda took me under his wing as his little sister which is ironic seeing as that's who I play on the show and allowed me to move in with him" I said with a little shrug trying to explain mine and David's relationship. My phone buzzed not long after I mentioned David causing me to pull it out of the pockets of my distressed jeans "well speak of the devil" I muttered lips pulling up into a smirk as I noticed my phone lighting up with a text from him
Cast meeting has been called are you available to skype?
My fingers darted across the screen of my phone as I tapped out a response
I'm currently on the floor of the con can it wait 20 minutes?
I hit send before looking back up at the group of people in front of me "sorry about that you know how it is being apart of a TV series I need to go skype my cast mates but I'll see you guys around I do really want to hang out with you all again"
"Yeah of course give us your phone" Dom said taking my phone out of my hands before I could respond plugging in his number before handing it around the group so they could do the same with Matthew putting his in last
"And there you have it every Shadowhunters cast member's phone number"
I smiled thanking them and offering goodbyes before walking away to leave the con and get back to my day job as a cast member of Grimm.

A/N why hi it's been a while how you all doing? I'm doing good thanks for asking. Now here is the fanfiction I've mentioned probably not the greatest but I'm developing and experimenting with my writing style you know older me now got to make it look like I'm actually able to write. As you all probably know I don't have a beta so yeah this is unedited or it is edited but its edited by me so it might as well be unedited.
