"Hey Patrick!" said Spongebob in a very nervous voice. Patrick looked up, oblivious to Spongebob's true feelings as he was oblivious to mostly everything. "Oh, hey Spongebob!" He waved from behind his plate of Krabby Patties.
Trying not to make a complete fool of himself, Spongebob walked quickly to the kitchen. He always managed to distract himself by making Krabby Patties. Distracted himself from thinking about Patrick. How could he feel this way about his best friend!
Mr. Krabs walk in. "Spongebob! We've got customers. These Patties aren't gonna cook themselves!"
Spongebob gulped and quickly got back to work. "Sorry, Mr. K! Just.. got a little distracted."
"I don't pay yeh to get distracted!"
"S - sorry! Aye-aye, Cap." Spongebob responded as he continued to flip patties, his mind still on Patrick..
