I love my distraction. It is color gaurd. It keeps me from focusing on the flaws of myself. I don't have to suffer from dysphoria as much because it keeps my mind on improving my skills. I have made many friends there that support me and help me with what I am going through. I have a second family thanks to color guard. I wouldn't know what I would be like without it. It is my lifeboat and I am staying in it until I reach the land of security of knowing who I am. I wouldn't trade color guard for the world (except maybe certain male anatomy bet even then I would be reluctant). It is my saving grace, my light at the end of a dark tunnel. I could possibly be in the deep end of insecurity and depression and all sorts of negative stuff. My life is so much better thanks to it. I couldn't ask for anything better to help me through rough waters. Color guard is my best distraction and I am keeping it for the long run.
