(Your POV)
"Daddy! Do you have to go?" A tear seeped down my face.
My father knelled down to my height to meet my eyes.
"Oh my sweet (Y/n) I'll be back sooner than you can say Pokèmon." He gave me a soft smile.
"You promise?" My big innocent (e/c) stared at him.
"I promise." He replied kissing my forehead and hugging me tightly.
"Take care of your auntie okay?" He whispered in my ear.
"Okay." I hugged him tighter gripping his shirt physically begging him not to go.
He pulled back and showed me a heart shaped pickachu necklace.
My eyes glimmered with awe through the sorrow that swallowed me whole.
"As long as this is around your neck, I'll always be with you. No matter where I am."
He then took the necklace and wrapped it around my neck letting it dangle pass my collar bone.
I smiled up at him gripping the necklace in my hand.
My father got to his feet and hugged his sited before saying goodbye for his business trip.
He walked out the door and I watched from the window as he drove away hesitantly.
Another tear seeped down my face..
"Pokèmon" I whispered but he did not return....never did he return.
