Repunzle's P.O.V
I turned around to see....
Merida?
What is she doing here?
What truth is she talking about?
I turned to Jack, who looked pale, like he just saw a ghost.
What is going on?
"Jack what truth is she talking about?"
"Fuck." He said under his breath before looking up at me. "Repunzle I love and I swear I was going to tell you."
I took my hands out of his.
"Tell me what?"
"That I-" He started before Merida interrupted him.
"That he has been lying to you from the start, you four-eyed feak. You didn't really think he approached you because he liked you did you?"
I turned to look at her.
"What are you talking about?"
"Oh, Jack didn't tell you?" She taunted.
"Tell me what? What are you guys talking about?" I said getting irritating.
"Oh sweetheart, there are a few things Jack likes to do and do you know what those things are?" She asked.
I shook my head.
What was she trying to say?
What things?
"Oh he just absolutely loves to make bets." She said confusing me.
Bets?
What is she-
"Merida, stop." Jack said behind me. "Don't do this."
"Do what Jack, tell this poor innocent girl that you've been playing with her?"
"Jack?" I said getting scared. I could feel my heart beating faster and not for a good reason. "Just tell me, what does she mean by playing me?"
"Repunzle I-"
"What I mean is that all you were to Jack over these 2 past months was just...a bet."
"A bet....what are you talking about?"
"Oh, you didn't know." She said grinning at me. "Jack made a bet with a friend that he could make you fall in love with him in the time it took to turn in our 3 month project."
I froze.
"Jack?" I said turning around to face him. "Is that true?"
Please....no.....this can't be true.
He didn't answer. Making my heart leap out of my chest and knots twist in my stomach.
Why wasn't he answering?
Was Merida telling the truth?
"Jack?" I said louder, I had to know. "Is what Merida saying true?"
He nodded his head.
I felt myself shatter, how could he do this to me.
I felt tears prick my eyes as I started to shake.
Not only because I was upset but in anger as well.
All the things we went through....all those promises we made....what we did yesterday.....what we said.....his proposal....
Was it all a joke to him!?
"Why?" I asked. I had a right to know!
"Because Jack loves a little challenge." Merida answered.
"No." I shouted. "I want Jack to answer me."
"Why....why did you do this to me....did everything we go through mean nothing to you?" I practically shouted at him.
"Repunzle I was going to-"
"When!?" I shouted. "After we got married? "
I felt disguised with just the thought of marrying him now.
Who was heartless enough to do this to someone!?
He tried to reach for me but I backed away from him.
"I can explain."
"How!?" I demanded. "There's no possible way of you explaining this!"
Jack Frost's P.O.V
I can't believe this is happening now.
I thought I had a few days.
It hurt me so much to see how Repunzle was falling apart. She had tears running down her cheeks and a frown on her lips.
I could see the hurt and betrayal in her eyes.
She was right there was no way of me explaining this to her now.
I tried to grab her but she backed away from me disgusted.
I could feel myself breaking apart. The one thing I tried to protect her from was happening right before my eyes.
And to make things worse Merida stood there grinning at me.
I turned to her. "How could you do this to me?"
She laughed. "I told you, you were going to pay."
She started to then walk towards me. "Oh but it's not over yet."
I glared at her.
What else could she do to make things worse?
Repunzle's P.O.V
"How about we say hey, to one of Jack's friends, shall we." Merida said before calling someone. "This way, Eric, please."
Eric?
I knew that name.
It was the guy on Jack's phone, that day we went to eat ice cream.
What did he have to do in this?
I saw Jack's expression fall even more, if possible, at the mere sight of him.
"What are you doing here?" Jack asked through clenched teeth.
"What I should of done from the beginning." He spoke calmly. "Tell this poor girl the truth about the guy she's dating."
What truth....there was more?
What else was Jack hiding from me?
"Stay away from her." Jack said walking in front of me, blocking him.
But I pushed him away. "No. I want to listen to what he has to say."
What else could be worse than what I already know.
"You heard the girl." Eric said. "Now let me show you the real guy your with." He said before getting out his phone.
I looked at him confused.
"Just listen."
I did.
He pushed the button on his phone.
A recording?
What does this- my thoughts stopped when a conversation started. Jack's voice began to ring from his phone.
"What do you mean a guy like me. A guy like me could make any girl to fall in love with me."
"Oh yeah?"
"Yeah!"
"Even Repunzle?"
"But to answer your question Eric yes especially Repunzle."
This broke my heart. He was....this was when he was making the bet. Now there was no possible way he could get out of this unharmed. But there was more.
"Then put your money where your mouth is."
"What do you mean like a bet?"
"No Jack I'm talking about ballons. "
"So what would the bet be Jack?"
"I bet you I can make Repunzle fall in love with me by the time we have to turn in our 3 month project. "
"But what if you don't? "
" If I don't which is impossible then I'll do what ever you want for a week, no you know what a month. Deal? "
"It's a bet. "
"It's s a bet. "
And the recording ended.
"Oh but this isn't the end," He said before showing me something else on his phone.
Messages?
I looked down and as I read them I broke.
Hey Jack saw you and repunzle togather today and let me just say wow you work fast i guess your going to win this bet
I scrolled down.
hey again just to let you know the bet was if you made that repunzle chick fall in love with you you would win
I scrolled down even farther.
The final one.
remember jack we said love not like love maybe you can even get in her pants if you get lucky enough and play your cards right then you can just throw her away like the other ones
I felt tears running down my cheeks as my shaking became worse.
How could he?!
"I guess you did play your cards right then!" I sneered at Jack, who wouldn't dare to look me in the eyes.
"I was going to tell-"
"No you weren't Jack." Eric interrupted him. "And I have proof of that too. Here listen to it yourself."
I turned and looked at him, when he began to play another recording.
" -and you hate to admit it. You hate that your going to lose this bet and that I'm going to beat you."
"That's not true. I have Repunzle eating out of the palm of my hand for your information." Jack laughed.
He actually laughed!!
"Then prove it!"
"I will!"
And the recording stopped as did my heart.
"And look at the date." Eric said pointing at his phone.
I looked.
I can't believe this...this was just a few days ago.
I turned to him, unable to find the right words or simply speak.
He was playing me the whole time while I was being so raw and vulnerable with him.
How could he do this. How could he have faked all we went through!
"Repunzle-" Jack began as he reached for me.
"Oh and that's not it princess." Eric cooed.
What?
This isn't it....what else was there? What else could he have done to break me more then he already did?
"He cheated on you."
Now my heart completely stopped and my breathing increased as those words left his mouth.
"Yeah, Repunzle look for yourself." Merida said excitedly.
How could she be enjoying this? How could she be happy from all my suffering?
But I looked anyway.
I had to prove to myself....that I was strong enough.
But if even more humanly possible, my heart broke and I let a chocked sob escape my lips as I looked down to see a horrible picture.
A picture in where Jack was kissing another girl.
In where he was cheating on me.
There he stood with his arms around a tall, blonde, beautiful woman with their lips locked togather in a passionate kiss.
I looked away.
"How could you?" I whispered.
"How could you do this to me!!" I yelled lunging myself forward.
"Repunzle, listen it's not what you think-"
"Not what I think?" I shouted in disbelief. "Doesn't all the recordings and messaged and that..." I trialed off.
"That picture prove enough!"
"I can-"
"No!" I shouted. "There's no possible way you can get out of this Jack."
"We're done."
"No, Repunzle. I love y-"
I slapped him.
"How can you say that with everything that you've done to me." I shouted and before he could hurt me anymore I ran.
I ran as fast as my legs could carry me.
I reached my house and collapsed on my bed, letting all my tears fall freely.
How could I have been so stupid....so blind...I should have known.
But you know what....I'm not staying here....I can't....
I slowly walked towards my parents room and looked down at the plane ticket they left me.
My dad was right and I didn't believe him.
I just had to learn the hard way.
But I've made up my mind, I'm leaving to Italy first thing tomorrow.
A//N: Damm...don't kill me....this had to happen...she had to eventually find out...tell me what you guys think of everything happening.... and be prepared...this is just the beginning of a very, very, very bumpy ride!
