Jackson was only seven months old on Christmas morning, so the chances of him running into their room to wake them up was slim. But next year may be a different story. Sure Jackson probably wouldn't remember this christmas or the next, but to Harry it was special. This was the first Christmas he was actually excited for. Jackson wouldn't know how to open presents or understand the whole concept of Santa, but this was his first Christmas. It was Harry's first Christmas with his little boy and he already knew it was going to be the best. Watching Jackson's eyes light up at all the bright lights, presents would be amazing. To top it all off, it had even snowed a little the night before. It would be Jackson's first time seeing snow and it really couldn't have come at a better time.

Casey and Niall were due to come over later after they had their morning together. Of course Harry would love to have her over as well, but Niall had asked to spend the morning with her and he wouldn't about to object to that. Christmas wasn't about fighting. It was about being around the ones you loved most. Besides, he would see Casey later and exchange gifts.

Harry yawned softly as he glanced over at the clock, a small sigh escaping his lips. It was already 8 and Jackson hadn't woke up yet which was odd. Lately the small boy had gotten on a bit of a sleep schedule. He would go to bed around 10 and sleep until about 7. Some nights he would wake up but only if he wasn't feeling the best.

Harry turned onto his side to look at Louis, a small smile on his lips as he watched his boyfriend sleep. He had such a calm and peaceful face when he was sleeping. It was honestly the cutest thing in the entire world. Harry leaned down and kissed his cheek before he climbed out of the bed. He pulled on his lilac jumper, walking down the hallway. Harry was about to wake his son up on Christmas morning and just the thought had him grinning like a mad man.

A year ago, Harry would never imagine he would be where he is right now. A year ago, he wasn't ready to be a dad. He was terrified at even the thought. Hell. He's still scared but he's learning. Harry wasn't the absolute perfect dad, but he did his best.

Harry bit his lip as he slowly opened Jackson's door, grinning when he saw his boy still sound asleep in his crib. "Jack?" He whispered, licking over his lips as he walked inside, standing in front of the crib. "Hi baby." Harry grinned, smiling largely when Jackson looked up at him with his big green eyes. Jackson had blue eyes when he was first born, but they had transformed into his own. Often it felt like he was looking in the mirror.

Harry grinned as he picked him up, holding him on his hip. "Merry Christmas." He cooed, kissing his cheek as he held him close. Jackson yawned loudly, rubbing at his eyes as he rested his head on his shoulder. He scrunched his face together, a small pout on his lips when a hat was placed on his head. Harry grinned at the little Santa hat that read 'My First Christmas'. "Please? At least let me get a few cute pictures with you in the hat in front of the tree." He tried to reason, grinning as he tickled his sides.

Jackson giggled happily, squirming around as he was carried out of the nursery back into their bedroom. Harry grinned as he put Jackson down on the bed beside Louis before he turned the radio on with of course Christmas music. He smiled as he sang along, reaching down and pulling the covers off him slowly.

"Cause I just want you here tonight

Holding on to me so tight

What more can I do?

'Cause baby all I want for Christmas is you

You, baby.."

Harry sang, grinning as he kissed all over Louis' face. "Wake up sleepyhead! It's Christmas!" He cheered, laughing softly as he pinched at his cheeks childishly. Jackson watched his daddies happily, giggling as he gnawed on the corner of his blanket.

"Haz...!" Louis was already awake but had his eyes closed because he just wasn't ready to get up. If he got up, that meant he would actually have to do something. God forbid.

Harry rolled his eyes as he stood up, scooping Jackson into his arms. "Fine. Jack and I will go downstairs and see if Santa left anything." He decided, turning around to walk downstairs before he heard Louis speak up.

"If you leave this room with my baby on Christmas morning without me, I'm banning you from this bed." Louis stated with a small smile as he stood up, stretching out his back. "Don't you even think about it Styles." He giggled, walking over to him and kissing him sweetly before he took Jackson into his arms, gasping. "It's Christmas!" Louis cooed, kissing all over his stomach with a grin. Jackson screeched loudly at that, reaching down and grabbing fistfuls of his hair, tugging excitedly.

Harry grinned as he watched them, reaching up and carefully untangling his fists from Louis' hair. "Now, now. He only likes it when I pull his hair baby boy." He cooed, grunting at the punch to his side. "What?" Harry laughed, smiling as he grabbed his hand to walk downstairs.

Louis laced their fingers together as they walked down the stairs, his heart melting slightly when he saw the presents. No there wasn't a lot, but they didn't really need a lot. They just needed each other. Louis really couldn't be any more grateful that he was celebrating Christmas with his baby and Harry. He thought he would have to celebrate alone but to actually have his own little family meant the world to him. Louis turned around in the middle of the stairs, leaning up to kiss Harry. "I love you." He murmured softly.

Harry smiled small at the kiss, reaching over and clasping a hand behind his neck to keep him close. "I love you too. Love you so much Louis." He grinned, pulling back when he heard Jackson babble and point to the presents. "Are those all for you?" Harry gasped, poking his little tummy. "Let's go see baby." He hummed, walking downstairs. Harry really couldn't be any happier.

It was near noon before there was a knock on the door. Their morning had gone great. Jackson ripped open the presents the best he could and was throughly delighted with each one he got. Harry had gotten Louis some new clothes while Harry had gotten some new boots which he really did need. Now Jackson was taking a little nap, while Louis and Harry were making some hot chocolate. Today really couldn't get any better.

"Daddy!" Casey chirped, giggling as she held a box while Niall held the rest. She had just gotten around to calling Harry daddy about a week before Christmas and that was such a surprise. They had just gone out for last minute shopping and she just said it. If Harry cried a little when he came home to Louis, that was no ones buisness.

Harry kissed Louis' cheek gently before he went to open the door, grinning when he saw Casey and Niall. "Merry Christmas!" He gasped, reaching down and picking her up with a large grin. "What is this?" Harry asked softly, allowing them to come in.

Casey grinned and shoved the box to his chest. "For you!" She said proudly. Inside was a little macaroni necklace she had made with the help of Niall. But if you asked her, she did it all by herself and who was Niall to disagree with her?

Harry raised an eyebrow as he sat down on the couch, holding her in his lap. "For me? You didn't have to get me anything love." He said softly, smiling as he carefully unwrapped the box. Harry's eyes widened slightly when he saw the necklace, a large smile on his lips. "This is beautiful Casey! You're an artist!" He grinned, pulling it up out of the box. "Can you help me put it on?"

Casey giggled and nodded happily as she held the necklace up. "Comes down here!" She smiled, sticking her tongue out in concentration as she put it over his head onto his neck. "There! Pretty!" Casey giggled, clapping her hands together happily.

Harry grinned as he watched his daughter, a small sigh escaping his lips. "Thank you love. It's perfect. I'll never take it off." He stated.

Niall shook his head slightly as he walked into the kitchen after putting the gifts down, glancing over at Louis. "Hey Lou. You good?" He asked softly, grabbing a mug so he could get some hot chocolate as well.

Louis smiled largely and nodded. "I am doing great Ni." He sighed out, holding up the bag of marshmallows. "What about you? Jackson was just put down for his nap but he should be up in a hour or so." Louis shrugged, giggling happily.

Niall smiled and held his cuppa out so Louis could give him some marshmallows. "That's fine. Let him sleep." He said softly, shrugging his shoulders. "We'll probably hang out for a bit here anyway if that's fine with you guys."

Harry walked in with Casey, smiling largely. "Come on, let's go open all the gifts!" He chirped, laughing softly as he grabbed Louis' hand, dragging him into the living room.

Over the next little bit they had all exchanged gifts and Harry was having the absolute best time. Jackson was still sound asleep and now it was time for Harry to give his final gift to Louis. "Lou, I found this in the tree actually." Harry said slowly, smiling as he handed him the small box.

Louis raised an eyebrow, biting his lip gently. "You didn't have to get anything for me Hazza." He whispered, grinning as he slowly removed the bow from the top.

Harry scoffed slightly, nudging his side. "Come on, just open it." He whispered, watching him closely. Ever since the beginning of their relationship, they always pinky swore. It was just their thing. So when Harry was walking in the mall and saw this necklace, he just couldn't help himself. It was of a moon with the words 'I love you to the moon and back' inscribed, with two hands interlocking pinkies in the middle. On the back, Harry had the words 'I pinky swear' inscribed along with the date they started to go out.

Louis furrowed his eyebrows as he looked down at the necklace, a large smile on his lips. "Oh, that's so cute." He cooed, not having seen the backside. Louis flipped it over curiously, his eyes widening when he saw the words, tears growing in his eyes. "Oh my god." He breathed, a large smile on his lips. "Harry.." Louis smiled, reaching up and rubbing at his eyes before he tackled him in a hug. "I love you so much." He whispered, cupping his face and kissing him happily.

Harry's eyes widened and he laughed softly, wrapping his arms around his waist. "I love you too. Love you so much Lou." He breathed, scrunching his face together as he rested their foreheads together. "I'm not perfect, but I can try and be perfect for you. Pinky swear."

Louis smiled largely as he looked down at him, nudging their noses together. "You're a dork." He giggled, kissing him again before he pulled back. "I will love you forever and ever. Nothing will ever tear us apart." He breathed, thumbing at his cheek.

"Pinky swear?"

"Pinky swear."
