"Miss, you haven't touched a single thing on your plate. If you want we can always prepair something else you'd prefer-" The wide eyed young maid had stated, when she noticed my lack of appetite.

"No no, I'm just not hungry at the moment."

"But miss-" She started, her eyes growing even wider but was cut off by Daniel who was actually eating breakfast with me this time.

"Is there something wrong?" Daniel asked. I looked up from my plate but when my eyes caught his I looked away immediately. I fisted my sweety hands against my lap and he seemed to have noticed.

"Aphrodite." He said again, his voice gruff and for a moment I though I had heard some general concern in his voice. I internally shook my head, silently reminding myself that he didn't care.

"Yes?" I answered hesitantly.

"Is there something wrong?" He asked gently. No nothing at all, I'm just going to leave tonight and probobly never come back but you wont notice because you'll be too busy screwing Ms. Perfection.

"No, nothing at all." I answered with a forced smile. I looked up to see Daniel looking at me warily, but his eyes soon hardened into those stone cold eyes once more.

"How come you haven't eaten anything yet?" He asked, gruffly.

"I'm just not hungry anymore." I replied with a shrug, pushing away my plate and standing up. "Excuse me." I said and rushed upstairs only to bump into Flora on the way to the library.

"Heavens dear, you scared me. No running up the stairs." She scolded me as a mother would. I grabbed her shoulders to help steady her and she gave me a grateful look. Flora was like my mother in a way. Sweet but firm. I smiled at her as she returned it.

"Sorry flora. I was just on my way to the library." I told her. Her eyes morphed into understanding ones.

"Ahh yes, the great joy reading can bring." She said recalling old memories.

"But your right I shouldn't have ran." I said sheepishly. "Say Flora can I ask you ask favor?" I asked her, a plan formulating in my mind.

"Sure dear." She grinned at me.

"Can you make sure nobody goes into the room I'm staying in, I'm feeling a bit under the weather." I said wrapping my arms around my abdomen.

"Oh sweety, do u want some soup or something?" Flora asked, worried as she turned to go down the stairs.

"No no, It's just a cramp." I said as Flora's eyes widened, understanding as to what I was referring to.

"Oh oh, I see. Well I'll let you rest then." She said and I gave her a greatful smile as she headed down the stairs.

I felt so guilty for lying to flora, but it was necessary. I didn't have a doubt that Flora would most likely alert Daniel if I was to tell her of my escape plan. I sighed and looked around to see if anyone was around. When I saw the coast was clear I rushed towards Daniel's office and quietly opened the door.

Going in brought a lot of memories. Ones of us dancing, laughing, flirting and ones of me crying and the events from yesterday morning. Clearing my head I saw his desk and creeped towards it. Shuffling through the papers, I searched for the letter I had gotten from Dean.

As I scrabbled through the mess of papers, my eyes scoured for the letter.

After I found it I scurried out the room and snuck into the hallway. I quickly made my way to my room and  jumped onto my bed as I  grabbed a notebook and pen from my bedside table. I wrote down all of the places I knew there were cameras.

After the majority of the staff had fallen asleep I set out to find the cameras. I walked around and located many of the surveillance cameras scattered around the house. The only place I hadn't looked was outside but I had a plan for those as well.

Preparing for my escape, I packed a bag that contained the letter some water and my phone. I memorized the locations of the cameras and threw on a pair of jeans and hoody I'd found in Daniel's closet. All that was left to do was wait.
I was going to save Christian, even if it was the last thing I would do.

*****
Eleven rolled around quickly.

The house was silent and everyone was asleep. Daniel still hadn't come home and he was going to for a good two hours, which gave me enough to escape.

Pulling the hoody over my head and using my hair as a curtain, I swung the backpack over my shoulder and creeped out my room. Rushing into the bathroom I grabbed a bottle of shaving cream.

Silently padding down the stairs with the shaving cream in hand, I located the first camera and quickly sprayed the cream over the first lens. Rushing to the next one I did the same.

After smothering all of the cameras in the shaving cream. I rushed to the garage and grabbed one of the many sets of keys hung on the wall. Pressing the unlock button on the key, a honk sounded out from a sleek red 458 spider ferrari as it unlocked. I rushed over and climbed into it. Sticking the key into the ignition, I started the car. I stared straight foward as I pressing the button to open the garage door.

The strong emotions of rage and fear flew through my veins as I sat in the drivers seat, mustering up the courage to get christian back.

Sighing, I pulled the letter out and glanced at the adress. It was far but I didn't care. I needed to save him, it was my fault he was in this position.

I pulled the car out of park and swiftly stepped on the acceleration pedal. The adrenaline was pumping through my veins as I heard the screech of the car tires. I blazed through the streets while I glanced at the rear view mirror. The house grew smaller and smaller in the mirror as I drove away. I didn't regret leaving but I knew I would miss that place. It held memories, it held Daniel.

And with that I pressed harding on acceleration pedal, going a total of 95 mph.

Only one through was going through my mind at that moment.

Screw you Dean.

******
I had been driving for three hours now. My eyelids had started to droop and I had to force myself to stay awake.

Daniel had probobly already come home and I wanted to be at the wearhouse before he could find me and drag me back to the mansion.

I silently wondered if he missed me. If he was out there looking for me. If he even noticed I was gone.

I peeled my eyes open once again as they started to drift closed.

The bright light from a car behind me had almost blinded me. Checking my rear view mirror, I realized it was a large s.u.v that was behind me. It was only us in the road and apprehension had started to kick in. I accelerated some more to try and see if the car would follow. As I did so the car behind me accelerated as well.

It couldn't have been Daniel, It was too early. I had a gut wrenching feeling that it wasn't anyone I'd want to be close to. I took a sharp turn and Checked to see if they were still following.

"Ughh." I growled when I realized they were behind me, monitoring my every move.

Stomping down on the acceleration pedal I flew past the trees and saw a turn coming up, I turned again but the car wasn't too far behind me.

Off roading it is. I thought as pushed the car to its extreme speed and dashed through a clearing I saw In the midst of the woods, not even attemping to look back to check if there was anyone behind me.

I drove through the woods. Bump after bump slowing the car down. The car was oviously not designed for speeding through rough terrains and woods. Something in front of me started flashing. The car's gas tank was almost empty. I breathed of a huff of fustration and looked back to see if I was still being followed and wasn't suprise to see I was.

"Shit." I breathed, my face morphing into a fustrated one. I pressed harder and used the remaining gas I had to get an advantage which would leave me time to escape when I left the car. The car jerked foward and than skidded the rest of the way.

The car slowly started to slow down as the amount of gas I had, started to dwindle down to nothing. Before it came to a complete stop I grabbed the bag and letter and rushed out as I heard the car behind me get even closer. I ran as fast as I could away from both cars, pushing my self to keep going.

My body was exuhasted, my lungs burnt and my eyes were dilated and I couldn't see anything due to the darkness of the night. I pushed myself even more as I heard the padding of footsteps and voices get closer. Finally realising that I couldn't run anymore, I dashed behind a large bush and crouched down, trying to hide.

The voices and steps grew louder as they came closer. I held my breath as I heard them walking right next to the bush I was currently hiding behind.

"Damn bitch can run fast." One panted out. It was evident that he was as tired as I was.

"Shit man, where is she? Boss will kill us when he finds out we lost her." Another guff voice said, breathing heavily due to our chase.

"He won't if we tell him we couldn't find her at all." The first one said as they padded away from the bush. The second one mumbled an agreement as they left.

I stayed crouched down until I was sure they had left. When I couldn't hear anything but the sounds of forest creatures lurking around, I slowly stood up before I started walking back twards the way I came. After wondering around for nearly an hour I realized I was lost.

"Great, lost and alone." I said angry with a puff. My muscles ached from all the waking and fatigue was starting to set in again. "And tired." A wet substance dropped onto my forehead before many others followed persuit. I was soon drenched as the rain started to pour. I ducked my head and started walking faster, the hoody still over my head. Luck simply wasn't on my side today.

My foot caught onto something and I went down with with a yelp. I groaned as I landed with my foot underneath me, feeling it twist and ache as I tried to move it. I started to shiver as the rain pelted against my back. I couldn't take it anymore it was so cold and my foot ached from my fall. I tried to get back up but stumbled and I fell back down. The rain grew stronger and it became difficult for me to see, the raindrops and dark clogging me sense of vision. My eyes started drooping again and slid back until I was sitting with my back against a tree trunk.

I started to slip into unconsciousness. My foot was throbbing, my lungs burnt and I was freezing. I couldn't feel my fingers or face. My lips had frozen and we're most likely turning a purple color. It was painful but inside I had felt the dreaded feeling of failure when it dawned on me that I hadn't rescued Christian. I felt death creep up on me and I welcomed it with open arms. I just hoped I'd finally get to be with my mom. I could only make one thought as my eyes closed.

It was that this time I wanted Daniel to find me.
