I don't move from my spot. I'm latched onto Aiden like a leech on flesh. And right now I really don't care. I need someone to hold onto. Being this high in the air over a frozen lake... Yea... That's pretty fucking scary.
"Aaron... We need to talk." I squeeze him tighter, holding my eyes shut as tight as I can. "I know..."
But we don't say anything. We both know we need to. But its just so hard... Espically since we haven't had a full out conversation in almost a month, possibly more. I miss Aiden... As much as I hate to say it. I want more of last night in the hot spring... I missed that so much.
Luke was completely different from Aiden. Luke did anything I asked him to. He would bend down onto his knees and kiss my feet if I asked him to. I don't want easy. I want Aiden. He sticks to what he believe in. He isn't afraid to argue with me and it gives me this adrenaline that I didn't know I could ever have.
And I miss that.
I miss his addicting touch and manipulating kisses. I miss him... So much...
"Do you actually like Lucas...? Or did you just use him agaisnt me?"
I look up into Aiden's bright emerald green eyes. I swallow... I wish I had his eyes...
"Half and half... At first it was just to get you back.... Then you turned into this dickhead and my old feelings for him came back... What about Scarlet... Did you actually like her?"
Aiden instantly shook his head. "No. Not once.... You were always on my mind. I just wanted to make you jealous and come back to me... I was hurt Aaron..." I close my eyes. "I know... I'm sorry..."
He kisses my head. "I don't want us to fight anymore, alright? Im sorry too... I know I could've handled it better than I did and we both said some pretty mean things that I regret now. Please forgive me, shortcake..." He squeezed me tightly in his arms and I smiled into his chest.
"I already have... I just need you to forgive me." He chest rubles when he chuckled, and he kisses my forehead. "I forgive you baby... So... We're okay now... Right?" I pull away enough to look at him. "As long as you take me out on a date after this." He smiles and grabs my face, pulling me in for a lingering kiss.
"You don't have to say it twice."

Actually, it took twenty minutes for them to fix the chairlifts. But by then, I was over the scary heights and was focusing my attention more on Aiden, who was trying to make me smile and laugh the whole time.
I'll say, he did a pretty damn good job. I wasn't even scare by the time we got off the chairlifts and went to meet the rest of them.
"Hey guys! You finally made it. We heard about the technical difficulties with the chairlifts and waited on you." Fiona said from under Andrew's arm. I smiled and nodded. "Yea, but it wasn't all bad." I glanced up at Aiden, who just smirked and raised an eyebrow at me, slipping his arm around my waist.
"Woah, when did you two make up?" Riley asked, pointing between me and Aiden. I shrugged and leaned into him. Aiden just kissed my head.
"So what now? You two go back to dating like nothing happened?" Luke spat. I look over and seem him leaning agaisnt the light pole with a grim face. His arms were crossed and his eyes were narrowed. He was pissed and everyone could tell.
I opened my mouth to speak to him but Aiden cut me off. "Sure do. So why don't you just go back to where you came from and leave my girlfriend alone."
I elbowed Aiden. "Don't be such an asshole," I turned to Luke. "Luke its complicated-"
When I reached out to touch his shoulder, he jerked away. "No its not! It's actually pretty fucking Crystal clear, Aaron. You do this every fucking time. You are always using me."
"No. It wasn't like that this time-"
"Sure it wasn't. Just leave me alone, alright? I'm tired of being hurt by you. This was the last straw."
"Luke-"
"By Aaron." Before I could go after him, Luke walked off towards the chairlifts, the one that took him back to the cabin. He disappeared into the white snow.
"Hey, its okay, babe. He's just a jerk." Aiden wrapped both arms around my waist and kissed my temple, keeping me tight in his embrace. I shook my head and leaned it on his chest, tucking it under his chin. "No. He's right. Everytime I hurt him and use him... Maybe it's best I leave him alone."
Aiden let out a long sigh, his breath tickling my ear. "You have no idea how relieved I am to hear that. He was always trying to take you away from me." I lightly smile and pull away, looking toward Riley, Fiona, and Andrew.
"So... Who's ready for some skiing?"

That night, Luke locked himself up in his room and didn't say a word. I tried talking to him but he just wouldn't answer, and sooner or later Aiden just came and got me, pulling me into his room. He said Riley was just gonna stay with Luke tonight while Andrew went with Fiona.
So that's where I'm at now. I'm just laying on Aidens chest talking to him about random shit that isn't even important but I'm just glad I can finally be talking to him again.
"So... What about college? What do you want to do?"
Aiden shrugs, playing with one of my curls. "I haven't decided. My dad wants me to go and become a lawyer but that's just not my suit..."
"I don't want to go to college."
"Then what do you want to be?"
I lightly traced my index finger along his jawline, humming. "A mother. House wife kinda."
Aiden laughs and kiss my forehead, rubbing my back. "I can make that happen. We can start now if you want." I laugh and playfully slap his chest. "Shut up, Aiden. You just focus on college and getting a good job. You don't need me getting in the way."
"You won't baby. You're part of my plans. I was thinking somewhere along the lines of a physical trainer or Something. I could go to college and finish easy, get a job, me and you could move in to a house, get married, and have twenty kids."
I laugh loud. "You're funny Aiden. There's no way in hell I'm giving birth twenty damn times. I would stop at three or four."
Aiden laughs with me and lightly kisses my lips. "I'm so glad I finally have you back now."
I smile and kiss him back, dangling my fingers in my hair.
"Aiden... I need to tell you one last thing before we are official."
Aiden pulls away, his brows furrowed into one. "You're scaring me, shortcake...."
I smile. "Trust me... It'd nothing scary." He gives me a confused face. "Then what... Is it?" He drags out. I smirk, leaning closer to him. "I love you, Aiden."
Aiden lays there a minute, not moving once, nor saying a word. At first I thought it was because he didn't love me anymore. But then he did this.
He grabs my face and showered me with happy kisses. "You have no idea how long I've been waiting to hear that."
I guess things turned out alright for me. I finally got rid of my dad, the people I love and care about are safe, I'm happy and have this amazing guy that for some weird reason loves me as much as I love him, and for once, nothing is fighting agaisnt me.
Sure, I've had a bumpy road and lost a couple people along the way but... I've also mad some really, really good friends. I've still got my brother. My best friend. My boyfriend...
I'm happy. And yea, I'm not the best girl or nicest girl out there. But I'm working on it. I guess you could say...
That I'm not your average nerd.
