We now stood in a grassy park with some lower leaf ninja kids.
"You're late!" One said it pointing at us, visibly upset.
I shook my head and folded my arms, "is that anyway to speak to your elders?" I said it in a stern voice.
The kid shrank back and they grew silent, I let myself relax and smiled at them, " True as it may be that we are late... Surely future ninja like yourself could have pick up trash on your own?" I said it cocking a brow at them.
They looked at each other unsure, "uhh..."
I shook my head, "let's get started... Girls at the river boys in the field, surely we can get this done twice as fast. Then we will be on time." I gave them a closed eye smile. They scrambled around getting to work.
Kakashi chuckled next to me, " such a caring girl... I'll go help the boys." He said, giving me a wave before heading off toward the group of loud boys. He winked before turning away completely.
"Make sure you actually work, Kakashi." I said it to him with a smirk as he put his hand on his pouch which I knew would have a book in it.
He lifted his hand away and smiled at me over his shoulder. "Yes ma'am." He said it quickly before running off.
I smiled after him then turned heading toward the young girls. Who were stabbing at the water with the trash forks. I let a sigh out and hoped to be done soon. It was a beautiful day, I looked around seeing the wind blow gracefully through the tall grass and the sun sparkled on the water.

"Go on and get home." I said to the last girl as she tossed her trash in the bag. I tied it shut and watched as she ran off. Her pigtails bounced as she ran off smiling gleefully. She looked so cute, I couldn't help but smile after her.
"Finished?" Kakashi asked from next to me.
I perked up and turned toward him with a smile, "why of course, and yourself?" I asked, eyeing his own bag.
He nodded, "let's drop this off then head for the dogs. Since we are..." He looked at his watch. "Actually early." He gave me a shocked look then chuckled, "that's a surprise." He said it amused and started toward the trash yard.
I picked my bag up and followed after him, " so how did the boys behave?" I asked it, noticing he had dirt all over him. I raised a brow at him looking him up and down, " your hairs all messed up also...." I mumbled to myself.
He looked down at me a bit dismayed, "alright... " he said, defeated somehow.
I gave him a confused look and then laughed a little. We reached the junk yard in no time tossing the bags on the pile then heading to our next mission.
I glanced up at Kakashi and chuckled at him, "I can't allow you to walk around like this any more. Lean down..." I ordered him. I turned to him waiting for him to obey.
He stopped turning to me bored, "whatever do you mean?" He asked but leaned down. He looked at me with such loving eyes and amusement.
I ruffled his hair until it was reasonable and wiped away most of the dirt on his face with a cloth from my bag. "There." I nodded then linked arms with him. "Better." I smiled up at him. He was no longer a roughed up dirt ball, not that I minded him looking like that even.
He sighed and then pulled me along. It was moments like this that I remembered how much stronger he was and bigger. I smiled shyly as he slowed down realizing he was basically dragging me.
As we headed toward the dog owner's home we talked about what to have for dinner.
"Well we most likely will be at the kids house most of the night." Kakashi said it with dread, opening the gate being bombarded with dogs.
I watched silently as he crouched down petting them and scratching behind her ears. I smiled. I had never been good with dogs.... They even scared me sometimes... But not too bad. I bite my lip looking at them anxiously. I had been so caught up in everything else I hadn't actually thought about this task.
Kakashi looked over at me, "you seem uneasy... Not a dog person?" He asked with a chuckle.
I shrugged, "I'm fine usually..." I said it blushing and looking away. "Sometimes dogs don't like me-" I stopped as a bigger dog sniffled at me and started to growl. I stepped back in fear but Kakashi had grabbed the dog's collar before it could even do anything.
I jumped back over the fence using it to divide me from the dogs. "See? I think it's because of me having a fox demon in me or something." I said it looking at the dogs carefully. "I might as well be a cat to them." I mumbled it uneasy.
Kakashi vanished and then wrapped his arms around me. "You're safe Naru.... Come on, you'll be fine. You can't show fear." He poked my face and gave me a closed eye smile. He was trying to comfort me but push me through my fears, a shinobi with fears wasn't the greatest.
I nodded and we went back to our task. Kakashi took the bigger dogs which they seemed to be fine with. We walked the dogs in no time.
"That took a while..." I groaned and stretched, realizing I now smelt like a dog. "We still have a little before we need to babysit want to eat?" I asked him only to realize that Kakashi was no longer beside me. "Kakashi?" I called out and turned around. After a second I began to panic, where had he gone?!
"Back! Sorry, I was getting us some ramen." Kakashi said from next to me, making me jump a foot.
"Damn! Don't do that!" I cried out and turned to him.
He shook his head and handed me a cup of noodles. "Let's sit over there." He said it pointing at a park bench.
I nodded, and followed him to the bench. I tilted my head, "how did you even warm this up?" I was confused.
He gave me an even more confused look, " uh... I bought it? Its from the ramen shop." He said it and handed me chopsticks. " That was a silly reaction." He chuckled.
I laughed lightly and looked away blushing, "I guess that was a stupid question." I broke the chopsticks apart and went to take a bite. "I just didn't know you could get it to go I guess." I mumbled it while digging into the bowl.
"Wait that's mine-"
I had already put it in my mouth...... I chewed and swallowed then handed it back to him. He was giving me a odd look as he took his but held onto mine as well. Then a heat rolled over my mouth and I gasped. "H-hot!!! Oh my god it's so spicy!!" I cried out and felt tears welling in my eyes. I fan my open mouth as if it would help.
Kakashi chuckled, "here." He handed me a water bottle of milk. Had he known this would happen? "It's what I drink with my spicy food..." He commented as if reading my mind.
I took it and drank it slowly, after a while My mouth calmed down. "How can you eat that?!" I asked in horror as he ate it like it was nothing. I took my own ramen and started to eat it. I tested it making sure it wasn't the hell fire he apparently loved to eat.
He shrugged, " I don't always eat this stuff, I like it though." He said already finished. He tossed his cup in the trash then turned to me. "Are you alright? You don't like spicy foods?" He asked, amused.
I shook my head, "oh no.... I think Naruto does though.... Not that hot... But still." I said, finishing my cup and going to throw it out. "I had no idea you liked food like that." I looked at the bright red lingering oil in his cup from the spice.
He smiled, getting up and walking over to me leaning down to kiss me. I shrank away and he looked hurt. I laughed, "you're going to be spicy." I said it wrapping my arms around his waist.
He sighed, "but I drank all my milk." He said it in a smart voice smiling down at me, holding me.
I giggled, "maybe a little? Not trying to have that happen again." I nuzzled into his chest.
"Alright let's go babysit." He whined jokingly.

I had put the older kids to bed leaving the 3 year old little girl and baby boy. Which I had handed off to Kakashi while I made sure the two older 9 and 11 years old's were in bed. I walked into the living room. "Alright...." I stopped when I saw Kakashi reading to the little girl and the baby was fast asleep in his arms.
I was surprised to see how kids never listened to him. I smiled at him... It made him oddly more handsome. Maybe it was my own maternal instincts calling out to me.
"Naru!!" The girl said and waved at me. " He read little ninja to me." She said with a smile that had a few cute teeth missing.
I nodded and smiled just wanting to relax and watch them. I sat next to Kakashi, taking the baby and putting him in his crib in the next room. Then I came back for the girl but no one was in the living room. I heard giggling coming from her bedroom.
I stood in the doorway seeing Kakashi tucking her in bed. She giggled and wiggled around, "night night." She said it and he kissed her forehead.
"Goodnight." He said it back, flicking the lights off. He smiled at me and then winked. I couldn't help but think about if me and Kakashi had a family....
"You should see your face right now Naru.... It almost looks like your in love." He said it with a chuckle before heading toward the living room.
I was surprisingly caught off guard by that, I stared after him blushing. I loved Kakashi, sure anyone could guess that... But to sit and actually realize how deeply in love with him I was.... Was almost scary. I turned back to the already sleeping little girl. I knew he would be a great father... And a great husband... someday... hopefully.
