Prompt: The Avengers want Starbucks.......
Lexi POV
"Ugh! We've watched the same movies over and over again!" I exclaim, planting my face on the pillow in front of me.
"Well what do you suggest we do?" Connor asks, pausing the TV.
I think for a minute. There's something I've been wanting to do for a while since we moved into the tower but haven't had time for.
"Connor, can we go to Starbucks?" I ask him.
"Really? Out of all of the places you choose Starbucks?" He says. I give him puppy dog eyes and he finally gives in!
"Yes!" I squeal, jumping up from my spot and giving him a hug.
"How is it again that you were half dead five minutes ago and now are running around jumping for joy?" He says laughing.
"I don't know! I just really like Starbucks." I say, shrugging.
"All right then." He says, picking himself up, "Let's go to Starbucks." We walk down the spiral stair case that connects our little area to our rooms and out to where the rest of the team are talking in the kitchen.
"Hey! Strike Team Demigod! Where are you guys going?" Tony calls as we walk past them.
"Starbucks." I say as we climb in the elevator. "Text me if you want anything. JARVIS? Take us down."
"Of course Agent Carson." The AI says and the elevator door shuts.
"Get ready for it." I smile.
"For what?" Connor asks, confused. I pull out my phone and countdown from ten.
Once I get to one, my phone lights up and starts buzzing like crazy with the text messages coming in.
"Okay, you weren't kidding when you said that they either don't text or text at the same time." He mentions, resting his chin on my shoulder, watching my phone as I start to answer the avengers.
(A/N: L stands for Lexi and the other initial is the person she is talking too. Then the name at the top is their contact in her phone )
From Science Bro 1 :
T: I want a scotch. Jk jk, I can you get me an venti iced expresso frappuccino? with a extra shot
L: Rly? A venti iced expresso frap? only u tony
T: Wht?
L: Nothing , dont blame me if you stay up all night and im using your credit card again.
T: fine by me Elsa
L: call me that one more time and you won't be able to walk through the lab
T: Okay Elsa
L: >X( you dead.........
"What are you going to do?" Connor asks. I laugh and shift onto him for support while I have a little fun.
"Hey JARVIS. Pull up surveillance footage of the lab." I ask him.
"Coming up in a moment Agent Carson." A feed pops up in the monitor of the elevator, showing Tony walking toward Bruce. I smile and focus on the water vapor molecules right around the floor near him. With a flick of my hand, I freeze them and Tony slips on the sheet of ice that formed right before his eyes. I can see Bruce laughing when Tony tries to get up but fails again. Defeated, he pulls out his phone and types something in it.
T: LEXI IM SORRY
L: Huh? wht was that again stark??
T: LEXI I GIVE UP I WONT CALL YOU ELSA AGAIN
L: fine....the ice should melt soon
T: THANK YOU I WAS NEVER GOOD AT ICE SKATING......you could ask pepper.....she knows......
"Oh my gods Tony you are such a dork." I snort and continue texting the rest of the team.
From Hawky:
H: Can you get me a grande double chocolaty chip frap? Extra syrup?
L: yeah sure thing birdbrain
H: I told you not to call me that?!
L: you think i'm gonna listen :P
H: ......true. It's a miracle that you listen to Cap
L: hey! but true. anything else?
H: Uhhh....idk
L: ok? I'll leave it in front of the vents by the training room.
H: That was supposed to be my secret perch! how did u even find out about that?
L: smh you're noisy.
H: wow....that was uncalled for
From Nat:
N: u know the drill
L: grande dark roast filled more than 3/4ths and then filled almst to the top with milk?
N: dang, you're better than the interns @ SHIELD
L: you know I try ;) ty ty

T: ARROW OF SILVER?
L: Yess thor? You want anything from Starbucks? And caps lock buddy
T: My apologises Lady Alexis. I would request for the biggest size of coffee that this establishment offers!
L: kk, any milk or sugar? just so you know, theres some in the fridge and pantry
T: I think not!
L: steve when grocery shopping yesterday
T: oh. Then no milk or sugar is necessary Lady Alexis.
"Lady Alexis?" Connor asks.
"He calls every female he meets that." I say, still typing. "I think its an Asguardian thing."
From Science Bro 2:
B: Hey you heading to Starbucks?
L: Yeah, want anything?
B: If it's not to much trouble. Can you get me a tall medium roast, two sugars? I hv some stuff I need to get done in the lab.
L: Sure! Want me to bring it to the lab when I get back?
B: That would be great, thanks Lexi.
L: No prob :)
From Cap/Dorito:
C: Lexi, umm sorry, but what is a Starbucks??
L: lol Cap, Starbucks is kinda like a coffee shop that sells alot more than coffee. they have stuff like lemonade, coffee, iced coffee, tea and iced tea. Things like that.
C: Do they have like tea or something?
L: yeah, actually they do, they have like green tea, black tea, peach tea, chai tea and stuff like that. hot and iced.
C: I think I'll take a medium black tea. Do they put honey in the it?
L: I don't think so but I think there is some in the pantry.
C: Thanks. I'll just get that.
L: Kk I'll bring it up there once we get back to the tower :)
C: woah...is that a face?
L: um.... yeah. its a smiley face.
C: :) hey i did it!
L: good job XD
C: thank:) you:)
L: Why don't you go text tony about your new find

"Oh gods. Tony is going to be so mad at me." I laugh. Connor just chuckles and shakes his head.
From He does what he wants.....until we come in:
Loki: I heard you and your little love are going to this....Starbucks establishment?
Lexi: yup.....you want anything?
Loki: Um...I actually do not know what they serve.
Lexi: Want me to get you what ever I'm getting?
Loki: Yes. I believe that should be fine.
Lexi: Kk. I'll bring it up to your room when I get back
Loki: You mean the chambers that I am forced to stay in like a cell?
Lexi: Same difference. At least its better than your cell at SHIELD.
"Garage" JARVIS says and the elevator dings. I slide my phone in my back pocket as Connor guides me over to one of the cars instead of our motorcycles. I look at him confused and climb into the shotgun seat.
"Imagine carrying all of those drinks while riding a motorcycle." He says smirking as he starts up the car.
"True that." I respond laughing as we pull out of the tower and into the city traffic. Which is awful as usual.
After about fifteen minutes of honking, swerving and the occasional swearing through New York traffic, we finally pulled up to our favorite Starbucks right along central park.
"That was not okay! He freaking cut me off and nearly hit us Lexi!" Connor ranted as he parked.
I sighed. Even for demigod standards, Connor really hated traffic. "Hey babe. Why don't you take a couple minutes to chill, I'll get the coffee. What do you want?"
He sighs, relaxing for a bit. "Yeah, I'll do that. Just get me a grande iced coffee."
"Alright, let's go and pray to the gods that I remember everything." I tell myself and walk into the shop.
And of course there is a line. DANG IT STARBUCKS. Ten more minutes later I finally get to the front counter and the cashier guy (yeah I just called him the cashier guy :P derp) flirtatiously smiled at me. Mind you, me and Connor look like we're 22 so no one questions why we aren't in school.
"How may I help you?" He smirks at me.
"First off all, out of your league." I tell him blatantly. "Second of all this is going to take a while. I have a lot of friends. I'm gonna need 2 grande cool lime refreshers, one grande iced coffee, one tall medium roast no milk, one hot grande black tea, one venti medium roast no milk, one grande dark roast filled up 3/4ths the way for milk, one grande double chocolatey chip frap and one venti iced expresso frap?"
"And a name?" The cashier asks.
"Lexi
The cashier finishes up my order and I hand him on of the Stark Industries credit cards to pay off the order.
"Stark Industries? What do you do work for Iron Man?" The cashier jokes. I simply smile and look out the window, to see Connor out in the car. "Something like that." I walk over to the other counter and wait for the massive order to come out.
"Large group of friends?" Some girl asks, overhearing my conversation and order.
"Yeah, we kinda live in the same building and floor so we are all pretty close. I guess it helps that we all work together and that the walls are thin." I laugh. She chuckles and murmurs a goodbye as her order comes up.
After another five minutes of waiting the barista calls my name. I grab the carton that all of the drinks are in and thank her. I walk out to the car and jump in the shotgun seat, careful not to spill any of the drinks.
"Okay, let's get out of here." I say and Connor smiles, pressing his foot on the accelerator. Let's just say there was a little less profanities this time. I think coffee has that effect on him.
When we finally pull into Stark/Avengers Tower, I have already finished a third of my cool lime refresher and Connor's almost done with his iced coffee.
We lock the car jump into the elevator. "I'll see you back upstairs, I just need to make some deliveries." I tell Connor.
He kisses me on the forehead and nods. "I'll see you later then?"
I blush, "Yeah."
The elevator door opens and I walk out into the living area only to find it deserted.
"JARVIS? Let everyone know I'm back with Starbucks."
"Of course Agent Carson." He says.
I walk down to the training room to find Cap and Natasha sparring.
"Guys! Order up!" I yell at them. Cap turns toward me and Nat takes advantage, knocking him over and pinning him down on the mat.
"Thanks Lexi!" Nat says, getting off of Cap.
"Yeah," Cap groans, pulling himself up. "Thanks."
I hand them their drinks and leave the room to go and find the rest of the team. I'm pretty sure Banner is in the lab and I guess Tony could be down there too. I walk up to the lab and sure enough the Science Bros are there.......throwing freeze dried food at eachother.
Well....technically Stark is throwing the food. Banner is just electing to ignore it.
"Guys? I got your drinks."
"Yess Elsa you are the best." Tony says walking over to me. I glare at him, one eyebrow raised.
"I thought we talked about this Stark." I deadpan. And he slips on some ice again. Wonder how that got there?
"Damn it. I thought you forgot about that." He groans from the floor. I place his venti on the counter and hand Bruce his coffee.
"Thanks Lexi, I appreciate it." He says, nodding at me before getting back to work.
"How do you focus with this guy chucking food all over the place?" I ask Bruce, laughing as Tony struggles to get off of the ice that seems to form wherever he goes to step.
"Hey I'm right here! And I could use a little help!" He exclaims, grabbing onto the counter for dear life.
"Its annoying. I won't deny it. By any chance could you freeze him in place? I might actually get work done if you do." Bruce smiles, turning around and snorting when Tony nearly slips again, muttering profanities under his breath.
"I could....." I say. I wave my hand and the ice disappears. "But I'm feeling nice today. Behave Tony. Otherwise I'm gonna call Pepper."
I walk out of the lab and hear, "YOU WON'T DO IT."
I roll my eyes and walk toward Loki's room on one of the upper floors. I find Thor there as well, trying to get Loki to open the door.
"Brother with all due respect, I may resort to breaking your door down!" Thor yells.
"Hey Thor, I got your coffee!" I call to him.
"Why thank you Lady Alexis!" He booms and I wince.
"Inside voices Thor. Loki not coming out again?" I ask.
"I am afraid not. He seems to not want to let me in." Thor sulks.
"Cuz threatening to break down the door is gonna help that." I mutter under my breath. "I'll go talk to him, Thor."
"Alright. My apologies Lady Alexis." He says taking a sip of his drink.
"It's all good Thor. I'll see if I can coax him out." I say, shooing him away.
"Hey Loki? I got your drink. I'm not exactly able to phase through doors so I'd appreciate if you opened up."
"Fine. You leave me no choice." Loki grumbles from the other side of the door. It opens and I smile at him, holding up a drink identical to mine.
"What is this?" He says as I let myself in.
"Its a cool lime refresher. It's my favorite drink at Starbucks. Try it." (AN: NO JOKE GUYS I <4 THAT DRINK)
Loki takes it from my hand and takes a cautious sip and then smiles lightly.
"Aww," I tease. "Does Loki actually like it?"
"Shut up you insolent mortal." He smirks
"Not gonna happen Loki." I smirk, walking back to grab the other drinks. And then he freaking tackles me. AND TICKLES ME. LIKE WHAT THE HECK LOKI.
"S-S-STOOOOOP YOU F-F-FREAKING BUTT," I squeal, trying to get away from him.
"Take it back Alexis." He laughs.
"N-never!" I squeak out.
"I won't stop!" He sing-songs.
"I-I don't expect you too." I laugh and use my two feet to twist him off of me. I dust myself off and grab the drinks.
"Nice try Loki." I tease.
"You should watch your back Alexis." He smirks.
"Uh-huh.....you keep telling yourself that." I smile, walking out of the room and shutting the door.
"Sounded like you made him happy Lady Alexis." Thor says in the hallway.
"I just messed around with him for a bit." I smile.
"Well that's the happiest he's been for quite some time. Do you think you could visit him more often? I would appreciate him having company that he actually enjoys."
"Sure? I can stop by more often. " I smile at Thor before walking up the stairs to a remote and quiet hallway for my last delivery. I pull of one of the vent grates (idk what they are called) and climb in it, struggling not to spill the drinks. I crawl and slide through the vents until the area opens up and a certain hawk's nest comes into view.
"Order up Clint!" I say, crawling a little more into the area.
"Hey! You got it!" He says excited. I hand him his drink and look around.
"This one looks different." I say.
"Yeah, it's my third hideout." He says, making himself comfortable on the purple blankets.
"You enjoy yourself, I'm going to go find Connor." I say, before crawling back out into the air ventilation system.
I take a couple lefts before pushing another vent grate out and rolling into the hallway. I take a sip of my drink and roll next to Connor who didn't notice me come in.

Yup....just another regular day in Avengers Tower.
