"And you just let her?!" I yelled out as I paced towards my car to follow Dani who apparently went to the firing range. I understand that Dani could be brash and stupid but for fucks sake she was still sick, a bullet was still lodged in her cranium and we were on red alert. What if another attack happens?! She can't be alone especially at times like these.
"We're coming with you" Lila said only now realizing the possible threat as she entered the vehicle with Danny tagging along, Hunter rode a different vehicle being accompanied by Cas. I drove quickly to the firing range expecting her to be training....that woman will have me going insane. I kept on incessantly tapping the steering wheel nervous that something bad might happen to her. I understand that Dani was super skilled and multitalented but she was human...she gets hurt, I've seen her get hurt...I don't like it
The field was empty except for a few guys shooting a few targets. I slammed my fist against the steering wheel. It was like a constant game of hide and seek with Dani and I was getting tired of it....I'm almost wavering on the choices of getting her a leash. I walked out and approached some of the men on the training field.
"Has Dani been here?" I asked as one guy paused and recognized me. He raised an eyebrow in a somewhat confused manner
"She has, not too long ago... I thought you were going to raid the Valiente estate. She took a bazooka with her along with 50 heavily explosive charges" the guy chuckled in amazement at his reaction I couldn't help but send a fist flying in his direction. As he complained on what the fuck was wrong with me. I honestly didn't know myself Dani was turning me into an airhead..and the thing is I was totally fine with it.
"She's going to fucking die you moron!" I growled as I ran towards the car in pure anger. Daniella you stupid bitch!

"So????" Lila asked fearing for the worst. I looked at her dead in the eye as I revved up the engine
"She went on a fucking solo mission to the valientes" I groaned driving in high speed, hopefully I could stop her before she arrives at her destination. Lila's mortified face made me think she knew of this. She was trembling when she grabbed my arm. She kept mumbling about Dani being a moron and something about a little jellybean in her belly

"You need to go faster" she spoke as her lips turned a bit paler than usual. Lila was usually the positive thinker amongst all of us and seeing her at her current state made me frantic as well. They were keeping something from me. It was obvious with the way that Lila fiddled with her fingers and the way she kept silent.
"Say it" I spoke through gritted teeth and Lila visibly flinched. I stopped the car completely and slammed my fist against the glove box. "Dammit Lila say it! I need to know what's going on!" I glared at her, right now all I wanted was Dani pressed up against me. There was so much going on and I can't get a grip on any of it. Dani was keeping me out of the loop, we were both domineering that we end up dominating each other and in the end no one wins.
"She's pregnant okay! She didn't know how to read the results and she read it wrong and you left just right after I saw. She didn't want me to tell you. Now please hurry up and find her before something happens!" She spoke frantically as tears streamed down her face. She was becoming hysterical.
She was pregnant. I'm a fucking Dad

That was all the encouragement I needed before my foot pressed the pedal to its limit flying through streets nearly getting hit by incoming cars on multiple occasions before finally reaching our destination. Kings Corp.
"Call her" I told Lila as we waited outside the building in anticipation. Lila nodded briskly as she dialed Dani's number ang placed it on loud speaker it rang twice before she picked up..I signaled Lila to pretend I wasn't here
"Oh my god Dani you had me worried sick where are you?! I followed you to the range and you weren't there" Lila cried out
"Lil are you crying? I was at the firing range I just took Dad's bazooka. I started it I'm ending it, I don't want my kid to live a life like this...this life sucks...I don't want my kid to have a suckish life...I'll be fine Lila. I just want my family to be safe..me, Luca and our baby" she said in happy note as we heard the sound of a gun being loaded. I smiled she called me her family.....it's time me and my wife dabble in the family business. I think it's about time I blow up some Valientes

"Where are you Dani?" I asked packing up ammunition as we spoke through the phone
"For the love of fuck please tell me this isn't Luca" she groaned.
"My love of fuck is well in tact but apparently I can't keep my fucking wife in tact. You have to stop doing shit like this it'll get you killed!" I scolded her I could almost see her rolling her eyes. She was just too conceited...she had a reason to be, the girl was the most notorious assassin at age 7 going on solo missions by age 12. I could barely load a gun when I was 12, it was clear her training was more vigorous than mine...I was only mildly interested in the business...the thing that kept me interested was none other than Dani
"I have back up Jhai's here I called him up..he told me he knew the ins and outs of Kings Corp. I got this Luca don't worry your pretty little face" the amount of confidence in her was amusing, a pregnant woman gunning down a whole building of armed men...now that was unlikely. The mention of Jhai's name had me strapping on my weapons at fast pace as I exited my car with no other thought than to retrieve my pregnant wife, who had a hobby of being impulsive.
"The Valientes have another thing coming" I spoke as I shoved the gun's magazine (you know those bullet cartridge things) in place and tucked the gun under my shirt.
"I located Dani using the trackers on her phone which I traced when I called her, she somewhere around the east wing which according to that" Lila pointed at the map presented outside kings Corp. that informed us the different areas of the building "is where all the electronics and monitoring devices are....Dani's going to make a breach in the security system, that'd make all the doors accessible...hence we could go anywhere" Lila assumed as she led the way to the back entrance nearest to the left wing. I've went on many kill orders but our standard operating procedure was nothing like this...it was clear that Dani knew what she was doing.. Hacking them down was a good call. Usually our estate made our guns do the work not so much on technicalities. We reached a good distance before Lila's phone buzzed. It made a humming noise that contrasted in the silence of Kings Corp.'s halls. Something wasn't right.
"They've got her"
