Laura's POV
I was confused. What could possibly make him think I would hate him more than Courtney? What did he do that was THAT bad?
"Ross," I murmered, "tell me."
"I can't...I cam tell you most of it...but not all of it."
"Just tell me."
"I...I killed people...it's all over the news...I caused two massacres."
I sat next to him again.
"You really think that that is enough to make me hate you? If you really think that you're wrong. I love you."
"It was enough to make Courtney hate me," he whispered.
"I told you I'm not like Courtney."
I wrapped my arm around him in an attempt to comfort him. It wasn't much of an attempt because he didn't seem to mind. He actually rested his head on my shoulder.
"You said you couldn't tell me everything. What did you leave out?"
I told me what happened with Courtney after that in a failed attempt to stall and distract me so I couldn't get the entire story.
"You're still leaving something out."
"No I'm not."
"I know you're lying Ross."
"I'm not lying."
"Yes you are."
He tired to get up and leave but I stopped him. I had to find out one way or another.
