I stood near the window when we went to ethics class.
I wasn't really surprised when Yagari entered the classroom.
"Hello. My name is Toga Yagari, and I will be your ethics teacher starting today," He said, standing behind the desk and placing a red book down, "Before we start... Nice to meet you all... Vampires."
I huffed and looked out of the window, my eyes glowing red. I was still pissed off at Yagari and what he said yesterday night.
"Yagari?" Ruka asked, disbelief evident on her face, "That's the name of the number one Vampire Hunter working right now. And this guy's our new ethics teacher?"
"So he's the one behind last night's gunfire," Hanabusa realized.
"Rest assured, class," Yagari said calmly, "Today, I'm an excellent teacher with proper certification."
"So then, you intend to spy on the Night Class from now on?" Kaname asked, staring at a book in his hands, "Or, is the real reason that you want to kill a vampire among us... Mr. Yagari?"
"Well now... Hello, Kaname Kuran," Yagari said, closing his eyes and smirking a bit, "Unfortunately, my execution list is completely empty right now. But if you find my class boring and fall asleep, I can easily add you on."
Ruka and Hanabusa growled.
"How dare you say that to Lord Kaname?!" Ruka shouted, her clenched fists shaking with rage.
"Ruka, cut it out," Akatsuki said calmly.
"I will try to be careful, then... Teacher," Kaname said spitefully.
"Humph," Yagari said, then started his lecture, which I paid no attention to.
I sensed Yuki standing outside. I had heard her ask Yagari about Zero before. I sensed that the... Choices... She was about to make... Were not good... At all.

"So... Are there any questions?" Yagari asked, leaning against the chalkboard. There was no response, "Well then... That will be all for today. Class is dismissed."
Yagari pushed himself off of the wall and grabbed his book.
I sensed Seiren's intentions before she even threw the knife, and my body acted on instinct before I could comprehend my actions.
I recklessly threw myself in front of Yagari, and the knife pricked the side of my shoulder before I froze it solid, making it crash to the ground.
The vampires gasped and stared at me in shock.
I felt Yagari's eyes on my back, and I could feel the shock on his aura.
"Now why'd you go and do that, idiot?" Yagari asked, grabbing my good shoulder and tugging me out of the classroom.
I huffed and yanked away from him, "It's not my fault... My body acted before I could stop myself."
"I see you remember well," He stated, looking carefully at me.
"How could I forget?" I whispered, looking up at him.
There was a moment of silence before he turned and left the room without another word. I looked down at my sliced sleeve and sighed. My wound had healed already, but there was still blood on my shirt and blazer.
"Lady Sayama... I apologize deeply for my reckless actions," Seiren's said, kneeling on the ground before me.
"Don't let it happen again," I said, and she nodded.
I left the room and went to the fountain. I closed my eyes and concentrated, before slipping into the trance of my powers.
Yuki was inside of the Headmaster's guest room with Zero.
She grabbed his hand, and Zero looked up, shocked.
"Yuki..." He trailed off.
She led him to the shower, "No one will notice us in here... Let's continue where we left off yesterday."
Zero's eyes widened in shock as she pulled him in and shut the door.
Yuki began unbuttoning her blazer, very calmly, "I now realize that this is the only thing I can do for you." She let her blazer fall to the ground, and Zero stared at her, still shocked.
"Yuki, what are you saying?" Zero whispered, his voice slightly shaky.
She looked up at him, her eyes swimming with emotion. She put their hands on his chest and pushed him into the wall.
(A/N: this whole thing sounds like she wants to do the dirty with him...)
"This is the best thing to do! Zero... Drink my blood. You'll feel better, if even for just now," Yuki said, and they slid down the wall.
"Yuki... I can't. I'd never forgive myself," Zero said, leaning his head back, a blush rising to his cheeks.
"Yes. I know what I'm doing," Yuki said, and Zero leaned his head closer to her neck, panting with the struggle of trying not to feed, "I'm sorry, Zero."
Zero's eyes glowed red and he bit her, clutching her hair tightly.
They did... The most forbidden act of all.
Zero pulled back after a while, leaning against the shower wall.
"Zero, all you alright?" Yuki asked.
"This is... Shameful," Zero said, "Even if I hate vampires... Even though I don't want to hurt anyone... I can't stop this craving for blood. Yuki.. Just give up on me already. You know it too, don't you? This is no different from the tablets... This doesn't do anything but tide me over. Please, before I acquire a taste for your blood."
"Just give up on you?" Yuki said, laughing a little, "What a cruel thing to say. I'll keep my promise over and over again. I promised I would stop you, didn't I? And I don't care if you refuse, or even if you hate me for it. I will take the beast inside of you as many times as it takes. You are not a Level E, and I won't let you die! If you want, hate me along with the vampires! At least we won't be giving up!"
"How could I hate you?" Zero said, and Yuki looked up, surprised.
"Are you alright?" Zero asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I don't even feel faint," Yuki said, smiling, "I'm just my usual self. And I won't have any trouble going to school tomorrow. Nothing will change. And tomorrow, come back to class. Do it for me, for both of us, please."
I snapped back into myself then, and slid off of the fountain, sitting on the ground.
Why do they have to be so stupid?
I was there for a long while before I heard Kaname and Yuki talking after I stood up again, and I listened.
"Your hair is wet," Kaname said, "What were you washing away?"
Yuki gave no response, and I drew closer, now able to see the pair. Kaname sighed, then pulled her into hug.
I flinched as Kaname spoke, "Just when did you stop telling me about everything? I hope the thing you are trying to protect doesn't end up hurting you."
Kaname pulled back, and began walking again.
I began walking again, but stopped when Yagari spoke.
"A vampire that holds a young girl so gently in his arms... I don't particularly care why you've decided to give that girl special treatment, but surely you notice what she's done? And I bet that you're just burning with rage right now. Yet somehow you behave like a perfect honor student. And that bothers me," Yagari said, taking his cigarette out of his mouth, "What's your purpose? Why don't you tear Zero apart?"
Kaname glared sideways at Yagari, and the end of his cigarette flared up, and little sparks drifted to the ground.
"It's so that I don't lose... My girl," Kaname said, walking forward again.
I flinched again.
His girl?...
I turned and fled to the Moon Dorms, a strange feeling in my chest.
Pain.
I'll also show you a sweet dream
next night.
