I felt a hand on my shoulder. I quickly turn looking at who it was, but hurting myselve in the process. I grab at my chest trying to sooth the pain, which isn't working.
"Calm down Mitch. Relax." Prestons voice says as I feel rubbing on my back. After a bit I finally did.
"Why were you crying?" He asked in a soft voice his hand still rubbing circles on my back.
"It's nothing."
"If it's nothing you wouldn't be crying over it." He says, I just look away.
"It's something about Jerome isn't it?" I look back at him.
"What? Why do you think that?"
"Because as soon as Jerome said he was going on a date with Louise you became down. He didn't see it and Rob neither but I did Mitch." He was silent for a moment.
"You like him don't you?" He then continued. I couldn't help but start crying again. He pulled me into a hug trying to comfort me.
"He told me Louise was the one a couple days ago." I cried in his chest.
"Oh Mitch." He says hugging me a bit tighter and rocking us slightly.
"It will be alright." He wispered.
"But it won't Preston. He will get married, have a family and I will be left alone to live with 10 cats." He chuckled a bit but got serious again real quick.
"Jerome will never leave you Mitch."
"But he will Preston. He won't mean it, but it will just happen."
"Have you talked to him about this?"
"We did talk about the leaving me part but not about the part that I'm in love with my best friend."
"You love me?" Both me and Preston look up to see Jerome standing in the doorway. He had a confused and sort of angry look on his face.
"Jerome." I say.
"You love me?" He yelled.
"Jerome please let me explain." I say tears falling down my face like waterfalls.
"No! I...I need time to think. Don't talk to me." With that he left. Now I also lost the fight for my best friend. I started to breath heavely as I felt another cut form on my chest. This one felt diffrent though, deeper, deathlier then every other cut I've ever gotten.
"Mitch?" I heard Preston's worried voice as I felt mysleve losing consiousness. I fell into his arms.
"Mitch? What's happening? ROB!"
"What's the ma... Oh god. Preston don't look at Mitch's chest okay?"
"What's going on Rob?"
"I don't know but he doesn't look to good. Yeah hello, my friend is bleeding out I'm not sure if he's still consious. Thank you. Preston what happend?"
"Mitch told me he loved Jerome right when Jerome came home. Jerome got mad and walked away. Mitch mumbled something about losing and then he started getting pale and breathing heavely."
"Maybe Jerome knows what going on with him. I'm calling him."
"Come on Mitch you have to make it please. Please fight it." Preston wispered in my ear. I then fell into unconsiousness.
