I woke up Saturday morning with a headache. It's not because I drank, I'm pretty sure it wasn't. I was just stressed, and I didn't want to go downstairs to something completely changed. So I waited till my dad came upstairs to wake me up. He walked in with Dierks.

"Maggie," my dad whispered. He tried to be quiet and possibly let me sleep in if I didn't respond, which I assumed.

"Magnolia, get up," my brother shouted. He jumped on my bed, kneeing me in the thigh during the process. He grabbed the remote from my nightstand and turned on the tv.

"Dierks, don't be an asshole." My dad stated before walking out of my room.

Hunter walked past my room before taking a double take and running in. He ran in with a grin, shoving me hard before laying down at the end of my bed. I was lucky I upgraded to a queen size bed, my twin size would have never survived the weight of two football players.

"What are we watching?" Hunter asked, laying on his side. "Mags, pillow."

"No," I said, rubbing my eyes and sitting up a bit. "Go get your own."

"Mags," Hunter repeated. "Pillow."

I groaned, laying back and shaking my head. "Get up and get your own."

Dierks flipped through the channels, and in between doing so he pulled a pillow out from under me and tossed it to our brother. I hit his chest hard and he only laughed.

My parents walked in, a huge grin on my mothers face. "How cute is this," she said. "I miss the days where this would always happen, it was usually in my room but hey, at least Maggie's bed is the one messed up and not mine."

"Mom," I said, giving her a look. "Get them out."

"Well, before you do," my dad said. "We got to talk."

Dierks muted the tv, kicked his brother in the arm, and then turned to our parents. "What is it?" He asked.

"Your mother and I were thinking of going out to the city today, staying the night."

"When are we leaving?" Hunter asked, laying on his back now.

"Your mother and I," my father restated. "None of you."

"Are you kidding me? Why do you hate us?" Dierks questioned, and my mom sat on the edge of the bed, smiling.

"Shut up, Dierks," she said, looking at dad. "We thought you all were mature - well are mature -enough to stay by yourselves for the night, can you do so?" She asked.

The three of us exchanged looks before saying in unison, "Yes."

Our parents went over how we were not to invite anyone over, unless they were family members who would text and confirm with her. Obviously, inviting no one over means no parties either. She said we couldn't go out, just because she didn't know how late we'd end up staying out. We agreed to the rules, well, I did at least. My brothers broke them the minute they called up Ryan Sanders, who showed up with half the team and ten cases of beer.

I harshly yanked Dierks sleeve, dragging him into the kitchen from the garage. "What do you think your doing?"

"Having some family over," Dierks replied with a grin. I glared at him, then closed the door to the garage as I prepared a lecture. Dierks quickly swung the door open, "Not this time, Maggie," he said as he joined his team out in the garage.

I gave up and sat on the couch. I have decided NCIS would be my next binge watch, and began there.

It must have been ten thirty when the kitchen door opened, and Matt Moore sat down on the chair nearby the couch.

"Yes?" I asked, pausing my show.

"Mind if I just chill in here? Not in the mood for what their doing." Matt said, turning his head to the tv.

I didn't really respond, just kinda looked at him before playing the show. I was only a few minutes into the episode, so it was east for Matt to get into it. Which he did. Very much. He started asking questions about the characters, and I went into full details bout their lives.

After the episode finished we decided that it was time to get out of the house, the loud voices of the boys outside were getting on our last nerves. So we ran out to Matt's truck, jumped in, and he quickly took off down the street.

"Where to?" Matt asked, finally putting his seatbelt on after we got halfway down the street.

"Well what's open?" I asked, rolling down the window a bit.

"Fast food places, the drug store, maybe 31 Flavors." Matt said as he took a longer stop at the stoplight to see what I wanted.

"Let's try McDonald's, I could go for some French fries," I said excitedly as Matt took the turn.

French fries, chicken nuggets, and a large Sprite is what I got. Matt was satisfied with a Big Mac and a Coke. We parked in the parking lot, turned up the radio, ate, and talked.

"That's not true!" I yelled as I hit his arm.

Matt laugh, throwing his hands up in defense. "Okay, okay! Maybe your crush on me wasn't that big."

"I never ever ever had a crush on you!" I laughed. "You were always so mean to me."

"Okay that's not true," Matt said as he pointed at me. "Don't you remember how I'd always get you towels after you were out of the pool when you were around ten?"

"Oh I know you only did that cause you were asked to!" I laughed.

After we finished eating, we decided to go see if the ice cream store was open, because I really wanted to rack up some calories so I could be fulfilled. We were lucky enough to make it in time, and ran in.

We each got sundae's, and sat down at the table to eat them. When Matt wasn't looking I'd sneak a bite from his, because he got some really good ice cream I said looked bad. I was wrong.

"Hey!" He said as he grabbed my spoon, he had a huge grin on his face. "Didn't you say it looked bad? It's only probably cause it said baseball in the title, huh?"

"It's cause it had the word nuts, actually, and I hate ice cream with nuts. And what are you talking about, I love baseball! Way more than football actually," I said as I grabbed my spoon back quickly and licked off the ice cream.

"Baseball? What? Really? You come from a football family!" Matt was genuinely confused.

"Which is why I'm not too fond of football, but baseball. That's more my sport. More or less because it was like softball, and I love softball. You know that."

"Yeah, yeah, and hopefully you'll make varsity this year," he said as he took another bite of his ice cream.

We talked about me for a while, then we talked about him, and then we realize it was eleven and closing time at the ice cream place. So we threw away our empty cups and jogged out to Matt's truck, and drove back to my place.

My brothers didn't notice that we were gone, in fact they were still out there drinking and having a good time. Matt and I just went back to the living room and sat down, playing another movie. When it got slow, I paused it and started watching snapchat stories, and I also kicked my feet up onto Matt's lap.

"Why?" He asked, amused.

"My legs need to rest, it was so much walking from the truck to the house, and then to sit down." I argued, scrolling through my friends to see who's story I actually wanted to watch.

Matt narrowed his eyes at me, and when I lifted my legs as if I were going to move them, then dropped them down, he flipped me off. I quickly snapped a picture, added the caption "when he pretends to hate you", and added it to my story.

We played the movie, and no later than ten minutes someone slammed open the door. Lucas had walked it and his jaw dropped when he saw us.

"So this is where Moore has been all night? Hanging with Magnolia?" He said as he pushed his hands in his front pockets. "So not cool to blow us off."

"Are you ready?" Matt asked Lucas, not responding to anything else.

Lucas nodded and headed for the door, Matt jumped up, said goodbye, and was gone. I guess now I'm gonna go to bed? I mean no one else is gonna entertain me, and that's when I decided to crash.
