Jermaine was downstairs making them breakfast while Kristina was upstairs brushing her teeth. She then went downstairs into the kitchen and kissed her husband....

Kristina:well,I've been having contractions sense 12:00 at night
Jermaine:baby it's 6:30 now,you wanna go to the doctor

Kristina:they come every 15 minutes but when it's time for me to have her,there gonna be 30 to 90 seconds and be five minutes apart. So that's worser than they are now. . . . I'm fine

They rushed out the house and went to the hospital
Meanwhile on the set of "The Bodyguard"
Everyone was now off set and in their trailers. Whit was talking to michael until her phone rang...
Whitney:hey brother...
Jermaine:hey,uh nippy come to the hospital hurry please (he said panicking)
Whitney:why? What happened? (She rose up from the couch startling michael)
Jermaine:kris is about to have the baby...(he hung up quickly)

They left and went to their car and made their way to the hospital
At Dignity Health hospital...

Dr Lee:well her cervix is weak and woman with weak cervicals sometimes go into early labor and their baby is born prematurely

Dr Lee:we'll have to wait until you give birth

Dr Lee:but for right now, I'll just see how far along you are okay
Kristina:(she started breathing heavily) okay
Jermaine and Dr Lee, propped up her legs and he checked her cervix...
Dr Lee: uh...Mrs Jackson, your only three centimeters dilated
Kristina:WHAT!!??!!
Dr Lee:your only three centimeters
Kristina:why am I dilating so slowly?
Dr Lee: it's because of your weak cervix. Is this gonna be your first child?
Kristina:yes
Dr Lee:well sometimes if it's a woman's very first time having a baby, there's a chance that she'll go into early labor because her uterus has to get used to carrying a baby...especially full term
Kristina:well can I please have the epidural...because I am in a lot of pain
Dr Lee:well Mrs Jackson, you'll have to be at least 4 or 5 centimeters dilated
Kristina:(she exhaled slowly trying to bare the next contraction and she threw her head back on the pillow)
Dr Lee:just remember to breath and don't stress....I'll be back soon to check again okay
Kristina:mhm (she continued to breath through her contractions)
Whitney and Michael then walked through the door....
Jermaine:wassup bro (he hugged him)
Whitney:jere, why is she going into labor so early?
Jermaine:because she has a weak cervix
Whitney:oh (she walked over to kristina and rubbed her stomach)
Kristina:this hurts like hell (she cried)
Whitney:it's going to be alright baby just breath. . .how far along are you?
Kristina:3. . .centimeters (she threw her head back on the pillow again)
Whitney:did you ask for the epidural?
Kristina:mhm,but he. . .said I'm gonna have to be at least 4 or 5 centimeters
Whitney:can you walk?
Kristina:I don't even think I can stand
Whitney:wanna try and see if it'll help the pain
Kristina:I guess (she leaned up and got off the bed) I feel pressure down there (she held the bottom of her stomach)
Jermaine:walk around baby
Kristina:and what use is gonna come out of that? (She continued to breath heavily)
Jermaine:it can probably help ease the pain a bit and help you to dilate faster
Kristina:oh my god!!! (She bent over in pain)
Whitney:come on Kris, baby you gotta try
Kristina:(exhaled slowly) nippy I can't...I can hardly breath
Michael:where are you hurting more?
Kristina:in my lower abdomen and my back (she got back on the bed and laid on her side)
Jermaine:(walked over to her and massaged her lower back)
Kristina:I really need the epidural....how long do you think it's going to take me to get to 10 centimeters? (Her contractions died down a bit)
Jermaine:baby your probably not going to give birth until tomorrow,I have no clue
Whitney:she'll probably dilate faster as the day goes on
Michael:she'll probably go over 4
Kristina:I hope so....does anyone know if mama Katie is coming?
Michael:I called and she said she was on her way
Kristina:oh okay
Michael:kris,I don't think I've ever seen or met your moth-(he was cut off to nippy shaking her head)
Whitney:baby no (she whispered)
Kristina:what you said Michael?
Michael:never mind (he looked at nippy)
Whitney:I'll tell you at home

Dr Lee then walked into the room and sat his clipboard down
Dr Lee:how are you feeling now Kristina?
Kristina;well the contractions have died down so I'm okay now
Dr Lee:well it's been 2 hours sense I've last checked. Wanna see how far along you are?
Kristina:yeah
Lee and Jermaine propped up her legs and Lee checked to see how far along dilated she was and was pleased with the process
Dr Lee:well Kristina,your 4 and a half centimeters
Kristina:so I can get the epidural or I have to wait until 5?
Dr Lee: I can give it to you now if you want
Kristina:okay
Dr Lee: be right back
Jermaine:okay
Kristina:finally we're getting somewhere (she said talking to jazzy and everyone laughed)
Whitney: I can't wait until you have her...I'm going to have her everyday watch
Michael:I'm going to spoil her
Jermaine:so y'all just gone take over my child
Michael:oh well
Jermaine:just wait until nippy has hers
Whitney:Ha you still gotta wait 8 more months
Kristina:what names did y'all decide on?
Whitney:if it's a boy then we're going to name him after Michael and if it's a girl we decided on Kadence Elizabeth Houston Jackson

Dr Lee then walked into the room...
Dr Lee:alright Kristina,I'm gonna need you to sit up for me please
She sat up and he gave her the epidural. She soon felt her contractions go away
Kristina:I feel so much better...thank you
Dr Lee:your very welcome and turns out your gonna be giving birth at sometime tomorrow,so it'll help you sleep at night also but this is the only time we can give you the epidural and it will wear off,so kind of try and enjoy the contraction free time you have okay
Kristina:(giggled) as long as they don't come back to soon I'll be fine
Dr Lee:well okay,just call if you need anything
Kristina: I will
He walked out the room and they continued to talk...
Kristina:y'all gone stay here with me
Whitney:nope
Kristina:(had a surprised look on her face) why?
Whitney:I'm kidding...dang
Kristina:mhm and besides you owe me. I stayed with you all day when you were on set and kept you company
Whitney:(giggled) I said I was kidding...I would leave but I ain't gone do it to you
Kristina:(smiled and giggled) oh really and I will do the same to you...matter fact I'm not sure if I'm gone come

Michael:are y'all really going back and forth with this

Jermaine laid in the hospital bed with kris with his arm wrapped around her on her stomach while nippy and mike went to sleep on the couch bed...all excited for the next morning
