Jace's POV
"Hey, wait up!" I called out to Karmin.
"I'll see you tomorrow." I heard Andy say to her.
"Ok, bye Andy." She smiled.
He walked away, leaving her standing there, watching him.
I walked over and smiled at her.
"Hi, Jace." She waved.
"Hey, Karmin." I chuckled.
"What's up?" She asked.
"I was wondering..... We haven't known each other really long.." I trailed off.
"Oh..." She frowned deeply. "Look, I know what you're going to ask..." She told me.
"And you're going to say yes?" I asked hopefully.
"..No.." She shook her head. "You're right. We haven't known each other very long. Hell, I don't even know you all that well." She laughed.
"Oh.." I nodded.
"We should just stay friends for now.. Get to know each other better." She nodded.
"Yeah, yeah. Ok." I nodded furiously.
"Glad that you understand." She smiled widely.
"I do." I smirked to myself.
She nodded and walked off to the direction of her home.
Andy's POV
- The Next Day -
"Hey Andy, where are you going?" Ashley asked me.
"I'm just going... To pick Karmin up." I smiled.
"Really, I thought she hated you?" He asked.
"I apologized, she accepted the apology and now we're friends." I smiled.
"I'm assuming that you want to be more than friends." He nudged me.
"Shut up!" I exclaimed. "I have to go pick her up, so see ya." I waved.
"Have a nice time!" He called out.
I rolled my eyes as I walked over to Karmin's building and to the 8th floor. When I got there I remembered one thing, I don't know which apartment she lives in.
Stepping out of the elevator, I looked left and right to see that there were only two doors! The one on the left had the letters KC on the door, and the other had the letters BM.
For Batman I'm suggesting. I love that guy.
I went for the door with the initials KC on it, because her name starts with K. Knocking on the door, I took a deep breath and smiled.
She opened the door, and smiled at me.
"Hey Andrew." She said.
"Hey, Karmin. Are you ready?" I asked.
"Yeah. Thanks again for taking me out." She smiled.
"No problem." I nodded.
- 30 Minutes Later -
"We should visit Jai first." Karmin suggested.
"We've been at Starbucks for like 30 minutes, we are visiting Jai." I laughed.
"Hey guys, hey Andy." Jai waved.
"I need to go to the restroom." Karmin left.
"Hey." Jai smiled.
"Hey." I nodded.
"I'm really happy for you guys, and I have a feeling that she fancies you." He nudged me.
"Fancies?" I asked him.
"That's British slang for like." He rolled his eyes.
"Oh, fancy." I smirked.
"Just to let you know, you have my blessing to date her. And so fourth." He smiled.
"Thanks Jai." I smiled.
"No problem. I trust you to treat her well." He nodded.
"I will." I smiled.
- 30 Minutes Later -
"Here we are, a random haunted house in NYC." I smiled.
"T-that's great." Karmin stuttered.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"N-nothing. Let's go inside." She smiled at me.
"Ok." I eyed her.
- 5 Minutes Later -
I have to say, I'm pretty impressed on how Karmin has been acting so far, even if it's only been five minutes.
"Boo." A clown smiled.
Karmin let out an ear piercing scream and clinged on to my side. I put my arm around her, trying to comfort her in any way possible.
"Holy shit." I heard her mumble.
"You ok?" I chuckled.
"Hell to the yeah." She scoffed. "Nothing can scare me."
The clowns surrounded us, smirking at Karmin and licking their lips as they rose the knives they had in their hands.
"It's bye-bye, love birds." One of them chuckled.
They all huddled closer to us, and Karmin buried her face in my neck, clinging on to my shirt.
"Don't let us die." I heard her whisper.
I put my arms around her and glared at the clowns.
"Lay off bastards." I hissed.
I noticed one clown slowly shuffle away and press a button that made us sink down into another level, and there was no light, it was pitch black.
"It's gonna be ok." I whispered in her ear.
I could feel her slightly nod, as my arms were tightly wrapped around her.
- 1 Hour Later -
"You can let go of me now." I chuckled.
"No, I'm tired." She groaned, hugging me closer.
"You expect me to carry you, don't you?" I smirked.
"Yeah. Carry me." She demanded.
I sighed as she jumped, wrapping her legs around my waist, and I put my hands on her butt to keep her still.
"Sorry if you feel violated, but this is what I have to do." I told her.
"Thank you." She kissed my neck.
I nodded, afraid that if I said anything my voice would squeak. She cuddled into me more and sighed.
"I had fun." She finally said.
"I did too. You know how to make a guys' day." I smirked to myself.
"Thanks, and you know how to make my day. This was really fun." She nodded.
"Maybe I could take you out again." I suggested.
"Yeah, that'd be great." I felt her smile against my neck.
"Sounds great." I nodded.
"Are we going as... Friends?" She asked.
"If you want......" I trailed off.
"If you want..." She told me.
"I don't know." I shrugged.
"I'd like it if we went.... Not as friends." She said awkwardly.
"Like... On a date?" I asked.
"Yeah. That sounds nice." She nodded.
"Well... This is your stop." I sighed, letting her down carefully.
"Thanks Andrew, I had a nice time." She smiled.
"...So, same time Sunday?" I suggested.
"Yeah, I'd like that." She nodded.
I nodded back, smiling widely.
"Hug?" She suggested.
I nodded, stretching my arms out, as she dove into my arms, snuggling against my neck as she tried to be taller than she was. After a good two minutes, she leaned back a bit, and her lips met my cheek.
Her lips lingering there for a couple minutes. She pulled back, and smiled.
"Bye, Andrew." She smiled, looking down.
"Bye, Karmin. See you tomorrow." I nodded.
"Wait." I sighed.
"What's up?" She asked.
"I'll walk you to your door." I smiled.
She nodded, opening the lobby door.
We waited for the elevator, and we stopped at her door.
"Thanks, again." She smiled at me.
"No problem." I nodded, starting to turn and walk away.
"Wait!" She exclaimed, grabbing my hand.
I turned slowly, looking at her happily.
"Please stay." She whispered.
"Stay?" I asked.
"...I'm scared." She admitted, blushing furiously.
"Yeah, yeah. I'll stay." I nodded, feeling bad for taking her to a haunted house.
"Thanks, Andy... And I'm sorry." She frowned deeply.
"It's ok." I smiled widely, as she led me inside her apartment.
"Well, I'm going to take a shower." She smiled.
"Ok, what should I do?" I asked.
"You could explore my apartment if you'd like." She told me.
I nodded as she walked away to another room. Curiously, I walked around her apartment and heard a meow.
"Hello? Anyone in here?" I called out, opening a door and walking inside the room.
I could see my hotel room from here, so I guess this is Karmin's room.
"Meow." I cat purred, rubbing against my leg.
"Why hello little kitty." I smiled.
I picked the little black and grey kitten up and walked over to Karmin's bed.
"What's your name?" I asked the kitten, petting his fur.
The kitten jumped up and licked my cheek, as I chuckled, and set him down. I decided to explore more around her room, and went over to her piano.
"Nice." I smirked, nodding.
In the corer of her room, I could see a bass guitar and a keyboard. I can play that!
Walking over to the bass, I noticed a picture of a guy on her wall, with a note taped to the frame.

"Who is this guy?" I mumbled to myself.
I ignored the jealousy I was feeling, and picked up her bass. It had a glossy coat of black on it, with stickers of bands, including mine.
"You told me think about it well I did, now I don't wanna feel a thing anymore, I'm tired of begging for the things that I want, I'm over-sleeping like a dog on the floor." I heard someone softly singing.
"The thing I think I love, will surely bring me pain, intoxication paranioa, and a lot of fame, three cheers for throwing up pubescent beauty queen, you make me sick, I make it worse by drinking late." I sang back.
"You know that song too?" Karmin asked me.
"I do." I nodded.
"That's my favorite." She smiled.
"Really?" I cocked an eye brow.
"Yeah." She nodded. "Where did you get that kitten?" She asked.
"I thought that he was yours, I don't know how it got in." I shrugged.
"He's cute." She gushed.
"Are you gonna name him?" I asked.
"Of course. I'm gonna call him, Batman." She smiled, picking him up.
"Batman?" I asked.
"He's my favorite super hero." She smiled at the kitten. "Hi, Batman." She cooed.
Batman meowed and she giggled, putting him back down.
"What should I feed him?" She mused.
"You could feed him a carrot." I smiled.
"We aren't feeding a hamster, Andrew.." She scolded me. "But yeah, we'll try." She nodded.
I chuckled as she went to get a carrot from the kitchen.
"Hey Batman, do you wan a carrot?" She asked, sticking the carrot out.
- 30 Minutes Later -
"Ok, Batman is sleeping. Now we can too." Karmin smiled.
"I hope you don't mind me asking..." I trailed off, my eyes darting to the picture of the guy. "Who is he?" I asked.
"That's my brother." She nodded, getting into her bed.
"Where is he?"
"He died." She rushed out, setting her head on a pillow.
"Oh, I'm sorry." I frowned.
"It's fine." She shook her head.
"You're getting a call." I informed her.
"That's weird, it's from the hospital." She mumbled, pressing answer.
"Hello. Yes, this is Karmin Constanata.... Huh? Jai Rivers, yes. He what?! Ok, I'll be right over!" She exclaimed, jumping off the bed.
"What happened?" I asked.
"Jai's in a coma!" She cried.
