"We're strangers until we meet..."

I was here sitting on my throne with my face covered with sweats like beads - focused on chanting spells to myself. Hindi ko alam kung tama ba ang desisyon ko. Ito lang ang tanging naiisip ko upang labanan ang kapangyarihan at kasakiman nila. Hindi ako papayag na maging isa sa kanila. I was supposedly the Empress for this empire but I was left here stuck on my throne acting like a real coward. I should be the one who will save this kingdom from destruction but the enemy managed to get a hold of what I have.
Maririnig sa labas ng palasyo ang malalakas na pagsabog at sigaw ng paghihirap ng mga nasasakupan ko. They already destroyed our defenses and my people. Instead of me protecting my people, they sacrificed their life to protect me. It pained me to see their lifeless body covered with blood. Bloodshed was not needed anymore. I already lost many. I didn't want to lose another. Elves may be immortal. We may not die from natural means but when cut by swords, struck by an arrow or strangled to death, we could still die.
Now, I must do what was needed to be done. I sent my message to my army to not resist or fight the conqueror - Asteria's King. We must surrender peacefully to the enemy to stop the fight. Sinabi ko sa hari ng Asteria na itigil na ang lahat ng ito dahil sumusuko na kami.
My army followed me but I could see the disgust on their faces as they gritted their teeth and bit their tongue. I could almost see the blood on their mouths as they controlled themselves for they didn't want to speak ill of me. I knew they loathe me for surrendering but they didn't show their true feelings. Nanatili silang tahimik at inirespeto ang desisyon ko. From the bottom of their hearts, they still love me but their trust just wavered.
Napapagod na ngumiti ako. My right hand man left me alone with disapproval. He didn't want the way these things ended. He didn't want to agree with my uncertain plans but he had no choice.
I sighed heavily as I chanted the last word of the spell. Babalik ako upang bawian ang Elfania, ang pinakamamahal kong kaharian. I closed my eyes as my soul left my body lifeless and still. Tiyak na paparating na ang hari ng Asteria upang kunin ang tronong ito. But he would be undeniably angry when he found me cold and dead. He would not get what he really wants from me. My skin became paler and colder as my soul wandered in an endless sea of darkness. May the gods guide me towards light and hope.
Hindi ko alam kung ilang buwan o ilang taon na akong naglalakbay sa kadiliman. I was not bounded with time anymore. For my soul, time doesn't matter 'cause I didn't have a body to rot. But finally, I woke up from this endless, dark and lonely dream but not with the same old body. The feeling was totally new. And I didn't know anything about the stranger who owns this body. I was just aware that my soul was inside him and he didn't know that he's sharing his body with another stranger's soul.
I smiled inside his subconsciousness. Hindi niya ako nararamdaman. Hindi niya alam na naninirahan ako sa loob ng katawan niya. I'm thrilled to live inside a body unknown to me. Especially when he's a male and a human. I guess, this journey would be exciting or maybe not. Why am I stuck here with him? I wanted to know if he could help me achieve my goals. I was a bit worried but I couldn't help but grin. Some mischievous thoughts clouded my mind. What would this man feel if he discovered that I'm inside his body? Would he freak out? I'm sure his reaction would be priceless and I would be excited to witness all of that. But still, I would stick with my real goals and plans. I wondered where I was now.

Wahahaha.. Joke lang ang english na prologue. Tagalog talaga ito. hahaha! Anyways, dahil malapit ng matapos ang Alkia Kingdom, nagpost na ako ng new story. (Ang dami ko ng story pero walang makapipigil sa 'kin wahaha *pabebe wave*)
Hindi ako marunong gumawa ng cover kaya wala muna itong cover.. hahaha. Anyway, let me know your thoughts about this story. Next year ko pa ito gagawin, pero first priority ang Chasing Light. Hoho.
