{Abigail}

I roll over, my eyes falling upon Patrick.

He sleeps on his back, eyes closed gently.

His eyelashes are sweet, and his blonde curls are slightly messy.

The sheet is pulled up to his hips, revealing his toned, muscular stomach.

I smile, moving closer to him.

I lie on my side, resting my cheek in the nook of his shoulder.

He stirs slightly in his sleep, as his arms wrap around me.

His hand rests on my ass, through the sheet.

I giggle to myself, biting my lip.

The sheet is pulled around my naked body, covering me like a strapless dress would.

I smile, reminiscing through last night.

Patrick's fast hands, his fingers moving in beautiful patterns in the spot between my legs, his tongue running along my bare stomach, and of course, the moment we were connected as one.

Patrick and I had sex last night.

The first time of the honeymoon, to be honest.

It was beautiful.

It always is, with Pat.

Yesterday, Patrick and I went on a snorkel cruise, for most of the day.

It was amazing, and the water was clear and perfect.

I had a blast, and so did Patrick.

Yesterday evening, Patrick and I went out for dinner to some Thai restaurant (that was really good, actually), and then came home and went out to the water again.

It's like we can't get enough of that ocean.

It was dark, by the time we got back, and so the two of us went skinny dipping in the water.

After skinny dipping, Patrick and I made our way upstairs, where he made love to me in our bedroom.

It was an ideal night.

It's Thursday, August 25, about 10:30 in the morning.

Today, Patrick and I are going zip-lining.

I'm extremely excited for that, because that has always been something that I have wanted to do.

Our zip-line adventure doesn't start until 1:00, so we aren't leaving here for another two hours.

Patrick cocoons me in his arms, and I simply watch him sleeping.

It's always fascinated me.

I could never imagine my life without being able to watch this boy sleep.

After about half an hour, Patrick slowly begins to wake up.

He groans softly, and then flutters his eyelids open.

The blue in his eyes are just as brilliant as the blue in the ocean outside.

"Morning, sleepyhead." I giggle, looking up at him.

He blinks a few times, looking down at me.

"Hey beautiful." He laughs, pulling me closer to him.

His hand squeezes my ass, and I giggle, biting my lip.

He moves slightly, wincing.

"Sore?" I ask, smirking.

His blue eyes dart over to me, a small smirk crawling across his face.

He nods.

"Yeah," He laughs.

I laugh, biting my lip.

"You?" He smirks.

"Oh yeah." I laugh, running my tongue along my upper lip.

"Get used to it, babe. I think we'll be doing a lot more of that this trip." Pat laughs, sticking his tongue out at me.

I roll my eyes, playfully.

But honestly, I wouldn't mind if we did.

Let me tell you one thing about Patrick Kane in bed:

He's a genius.

He's fucking perfect.

His hands are magical.

His tongue is soft. Or maybe he's just soft with it, I don't know.

I'm not going to lie, he has an impressive dick, too.

He's just good at everything in bed.

I could go on forever, but I'll stop there.

Patrick and I lie together for a few more minutes, before I decide I should head into the shower.

"I'll be out in a few." I say, rolling out of bed, completely naked.

Pat whistles as I waddle my way into the bathroom.

I'm so sore.

"Pervert." I mutter, giggling.

Somehow, he heard me.

"Yeah, but you like it." He calls, as I close the bathroom door.

I laugh, biting my lip.

I look in the mirror, at my completely bare body.

I don't know what Patrick sees in me.

I don't find myself all that good looking, to be honest.

I felt beautiful at my wedding, but most of the time, I don't feel like that.

But Patrick makes me feel that way.

He makes me feel like the most beautiful woman in the entire world.

I smile, turning on the hot water.

After showering quickly, I change into a pair of Nike short shorts, and an orange, light v-neck.

I brush my hair, and throw it into a high ponytail.

I don't bother putting on any makeup, other than some mascara.

I take a quick glance in the mirror, ignoring the feeling of strained muscles between my legs.

I swing the bathroom door open, and find myself bumping into Patrick on my way out.

I fall backwards slightly, but he catches me by the wrist.

I laugh, looking up at him.

He's completely naked.

His collar bones are accentuated, and his blonde curls are messy.

I run my hand through his curls, taming them slightly for him.

"Why, hello." I laugh, smiling.

He smirks, looking down at me, and then runs his tongue along his upper lip.

He kisses me on the cheek, before moving past me, into the bathroom.

Even after I hear Patrick get into the shower, I stand in the same spot, blushing.

How did I end up with Pat?

I don't understand.

Married, and Patrick still has me blushing at seeing him naked.

He's so enchanting.

Feeling my blushing intensify, I make my way downstairs and into the kitchen.

I make a simple breakfast for Patrick and I, and within ten minutes, he is downstairs.

We eat breakfast together, and chat about a few things.

Right then, my cell phone rings.

I get up off of my chair at the table, and answer my phone.

It's my mom.

"Hey Mom," I say.

"Hey sweetie! How are you and Patrick doing?" She asks.

I can hear the smile in her voice.

"We're lovely, thanks Mom. How are you?" I ask, making my way back to my spot at the table.

"Well we miss you guys, but we're good. What do you have planned for today?" She asks.

I tell her our plans for the day, and then we talk for about ten more minutes before saying goodbye.

I hang up the phone, smiling down at my lap.

It's really nice to know that my mom always has my back.

For two years, my relationship wasn't strong with her.

And I am so thankful that I have gotten it back, at this point in my life.

***

Patrick parks our rental car, and we both get out.

The moist, tropical breeze greets me.

We're up north, at the zip-lining adventures meeting place.

There is a small building just beside the parking lot, where everyone signs in before they start the zip-lining.

It is surrounded by dense rainforest, and I can feel the moisture in the air.

Patrick and I make our way to the entrance of the building.

It is a small wooden structure, with a few steps leading up to the entrance.

It's adorable.

Hand-in-hand, Patrick and I enter the building, the relieving feeling of air conditioning greeting us.

I place my sunglasses on the top of my head, no longer needing them, as we are inside.

"Welcome! Are you guys here for the zip-lining tours?" A young, black haired lady says from behind a desk.

The building is almost like a gift shop, with "Big Island Zip-Lining Adventure" souvenirs placed everywhere throughout the shop.

"Yes, we are!" Patrick replies, as we walk towards the desk.

"Perfect. There are a few waivers you guys have to sign, and your guides should be here shortly!" The lady smiles, pulling out two waivers for both of us to fill out.

She hands us pens, and Patrick and I begin to fill out the sheets of paper.

After about twenty minutes, the four other people in our adventure group have arrived, and filled out the waivers.

We have met our two tour guides, whom are both young Hawaiian boys.

Their names are Austin and Dominic.

The four other people in our adventure tour, is a family of four.

A mother, father, daughter, and son.

The kids are probably about thirteen and eleven, the boy being the older one.

They are all extremely nice.

After getting all of our equipment, we take a large van to the first zip-line.

Patrick and I sit next to each other, as Dom and Austin begin to inform all of us on the details of the zip-lines.

They tell us safety rules, and then move onto the features of each course, and how beautiful the views can be.

The family of four also, officially introduces themselves.

"I'm Miranda, and this is my husband Joe. These are our two children, Courtney and Josh, by the way." Miranda smiles, reaching her hand across the van to shake my hand.

Both Patrick and I shake her hand, smiling.

"I'm Abigail, and this is my husband, Patrick." I smile.

"Nice to meet you guys." Miranda smiles, nodding her head.

"You as well. Family vacation?" I ask, looking across at Courtney and Josh.

Both have blonde hair, and are really cute, if you ask me.

"Yes, how about you guys?" Joe laughs, nodding.

"Honeymoon." Pat says, smiling down at me.

"Aw, how sweet!" Miranda giggles.

"Where are you guys from?" I ask.

"Toronto." Miranda smiles.

"Oh, wonderful." I laugh, nodding.

"You guys are visiting from Chicago, right?" Josh suddenly asks, looking across at Pat and I.

"Yeah! How'd you know?" Pat asks, smiling.

"You're Patrick Kane, that's how I know! Your dangles are unreal man!" Josh laughs, his eyes widening.

Pat laughs, reaching his hand out.

"Nice to meet you, bud." Pat smiles, shaking his hand.

Josh looks as if he is about to scream with happiness.

I laugh, watching as Patrick and Josh finish shaking hands.

"You too." Josh says, his eyes wide.

I look over at Miranda, smiling.

"Sorry, he's a big fan." She mouths, quietly.

"It's not a problem at all." I laugh, shaking my head.

It truly isn't.

It's crazy how Patrick has impacted people across the US and Canada.

All they have to be is a hockey fan for them to know who he is.

It's adorable, really.

I should have known they would recognize him, as soon as I heard they were visiting from Canada.

I mean, it's Canada, everyone's crazy about hockey.

This Josh kid really lucked out today.

Right then, we arrive at the first zip-line, and we all file out of the van.

After Dom and Austin once again, go over the safety rules, they turn to the six of us.

Austin then straps himself in, and pushes off of the stool.

He goes all the way to the end, getting back on the ground once he does.

He is over there to help us arrive safely, once we get across the zip-line.

After he gives the signal saying that he has arrived there safely, Dom turns to us.

"Whose going first?" Dom asks, smiling.

Courtney raises her hand.

"Me!" She giggles, excitedly, her blonde hair in pigtails.

Patrick takes my hand.

He smiles down at me as we watch Courtney get strapped into the first zip-line.

Pat has always had a soft spot for young girls.

He loves all of the fans, but his heart is truly with the younger female fans, with their little jersey's and cute smiles.

He won't admit it, but he would do almost anything for a little female fan.

It's quite adorable, really.

One day, I know he wants a baby girl.

It's even slipped out of his mouth, one time when he was drunk.

Someday, the two of us will have a little girl.

But that's a whole different part of our lives.

I shake my head, as Courtney gets pushed off of the wooden block.

She cheers, as she begins to sore through the air, her voice getting more and more distant as she moves further away from us.

You basically push yourself off a cliff, making your way through the air, soaring above the rainforest below.

The zip-line is a few hundred feet, and it does in fact present amazing views.

Courtney makes it all the way to the other side, and when Dom asks who is going next, Patrick volunteers myself.

I roll my eyes, looking up at him.

He winks.

With that, I make my way up to the top of the wooden block, and Dom straps me in.

"You ready to go?" He asks, smiling.

"You bet." I giggle.

With that, Dom gives me a push off of the wooden block, and my feet move into the air.

I move down the zip-line, extremely quickly.

I cheer as I make my way through the air, looking around as I do so.

It's so beautiful up here.

The sky is clear, the sun is out, the trees are vividly green below; everything is beautiful.

Everything is perfect.

I get to the end of the line, and Austin greets me.

"How was it?" He laughs.

"Incredible!" I smile, laughing.

He unstraps me from the line, and I go stand beside Courtney, waiting for the others.

After me, is Patrick.

I can hear him laughing as he makes his way through the air.

He arrives at the other side, a huge smile on his face.

"That was amazing!" Pat laughs, his mouth partly open.

"I know right!" I giggle, as he makes his way over to Courtney and I.

The three of us chat as the rest of the group makes their way over starting with Josh, Miranda, Joe, and finally Dom.

We all laugh, talking about how amazing that first zip-line was, as we make our way to the next course.

***

After about two hours of solid fun, we arrive at the last zip course.

It has been an amazing adventure.

Patrick and Josh sure have bonded tightly, and Miranda and I have had some pretty good conversations throughout the afternoon.

I'm sure Josh is having the time of his life, hanging out with NHL superstar, Patrick Kane, but the two of them are just acting like best buds.

It's honestly adorable.

At one point in the tour, Courtney complained about her feet hurting, and didn't want to walk anymore.

Her parents told her to suck it up, but Patrick, of course, volunteered to carry her.

And of course, he did.

He's such a softie, it's adorable.

Pat would make such an incredible father.

He really would.

We approach the final zip course, looking out at the view in front of us.

It has two cables, so two people can go at the same time, and can race each other.

It's the longest one, both cables spanning over 1200 feet, and it runs right past a bold, tall, beautiful waterfall.

"So this is the last course. And you guys can race on this one!" Austin laughs.

With that, everyone in the group pairs up, and the first to go are Courtney and Josh.

Austin counts down from three, and both of them push off, flying through the air at incredible speeds.

You can hear them laughing and cheering as they make their way down the cables.

They get smaller and smaller as they move further away.

Eventually, Dom radios Austin saying that the two have arrived alive, on the other side, and that Courtney won the race.

The four of us laugh, and the next to go is Patrick and I.

"You're going down, Abbers." Pat laughs, as we both get strapped in.

"You wish, Kaner." I wink, laughing.

When Patrick brings out his competitive side, he can win at almost anything.

So, me making a bet that I'm going to beat him when he's getting competitive, is probably not the best idea.

But, that is alright.

Austin counts down from three, and both of us push off the wooden blocks.

Patrick and I sail through the air, quickly.

Our zip-lines are running fast, and I look around as we do so.

I can hear Patrick laughing beside me, cheering as he does so.

He's just barely in front of me, at the moment.

Just knowing he is there, is comforting.

Being able to hear him, is comforting.

I smile looking at the views around me, completely forgetting about our race.

To my left is the waterfall, flowing elegantly into the body of water below.

The waterfall is extremely tall, and the sound of water flowing can be heard.

A slight mist blows off of the falls, and onto me.

To my right, is Patrick, smiling and laughing freely, appearing to have forgotten about the race, just as I did.

Below us is the body of water that the waterfall flows into, as well as a dense rainforest.

Above us, the sun shines brightly, and the air is warm and pleasant.

I close my eyes, feeling the breeze flow through my hair.

I look over at Patrick and he smiles, closing his eyes.

And in this moment, I realize something.

Patrick and I have the rest of our lives together, and there is so much to do.

So much to see and explore.

So many experiences to be made, and a beautiful life to live.

Together.

This love is ours.

And so is this world.
