{Patrick}

I roll over in bed, and force my eyelids open.

Bright sunlight streams through the window in the bedroom, and the sound of a few birds chirping can be heard.

The air is warm and hazed.

I look beside me, and notice that Abigail is not there.

She must already be awake.

I blink a few times, clearing my vision.

I glance at the clock.

10:00 AM.

It's Tuesday, August 23.

Abigail and I arrived to the Big Island of Hawaii, yesterday afternoon.

Today is our first full day of the trip.

Our honeymoon.

I still can't believe Abby and I are officially married.

The wedding was sick.

I had a blast, and it was definitely the ideal wedding.

Abigail looked so beautiful, I can't even get over it.

Three days later, and this is where I am.

Vacationing with the love of my life.

After a few minutes, I force myself out of bed.

The bedroom is a good size, with a full bathroom in the corner.

It is on the upper level of the beach-house, and has a balcony that looks over the private beach.

I slide open the door onto the balcony, and step onto it.

I close my eyes, as I soak in the sun.

The sky is blue and the sun is shining.

The weather is perfect here.

This is only my second time on this island, and it is pure paradise.

The waves lap the shore lightly, the tide moving in and out.

I head back inside, changing into a pair of Hurley black swim trunks, and a blue t-shirt.

I open the door to the bedroom, and the smell of pancakes and bacon immediately greets me.

I make my way downstairs, and see Abigail at the stove, clearly cooking something for breakfast.

I smile, crossing the floor of the beach-house towards the kitchen.

Abby's back is facing me, and she wears jean short shorts and a grey shirt.

Her hair is in a loose bun.

I walk over to her, and wrap my arms around her waist, kissing her cheek gently.

She giggles, tilting her head towards the side that I am kissing her on.

She's ticklish.

I laugh, as she continues giggling.

"That looks good," I say, resting my chin on her shoulder.

She has a few eggs on the pan.

She moves them around slightly, with her spatula.

"I'm glad you think so." She giggles, putting her spatula down for a second.

She turns around, and looks up at me.

Her light brown eyes reflect myself in them, and she stares up at me, a small smile on her face.

I bend down slightly, kissing her on the lips quickly.

She kisses back for a few moments, before spinning around and continuing cooking on the stove.

"How did you sleep?" Abigail asks.

I walk over to the fridge, grabbing the container of orange juice.

"Really well, how about you?" I ask, pouring two glasses of orange juice out.

"Same." Abby laughs, as she places the eggs on two separate plates.

The plates both already have pancakes and bacon on them.

"You really felt like cooking, didn't you?" I ask, laughing.

"I felt like making a nice breakfast." She shrugs.

"It looks wonderful." I say, as she brings one plate over to me.

She then sits down beside me at the table, her plate in front of her.

"I hope you say the same about its taste." She winks, laughing.

I laugh, sipping my orange juice.

I take the first bite of bacon, and it melts in my mouth.

I close my eyes, swallowing.

"It's delicious." I laugh, shaking my head.

Abby giggles, taking a bite of her eggs.

"Good." She smiles.

"What do you want to do today?" I ask.

"We could go to the beach. I know there are a few good ones around here." She shrugs.

I pause, looking out the window.

The private beach sits literally right beyond the pool.

I look back at her, smirking.

"Did you forget there is one right outside?" I laugh, biting my lip.

She looks up at me, and then bursts out laughing.

We both laugh at that, for a few moments.

"Yeah, I did forget there for a second." Abigail laughs, rolling her eyes at herself.

I laugh, smiling down at my lap.

Both of us finish up our breakfasts, and put our dishes away.

Without even saying anything, we both head outside, stepping into the gorgeous backyard.

The pool sits quietly, looking extremely inviting.

However, the large, beautiful ocean that sits just beyond the pool, looks far more inviting.

As if reading my mind, Abigail begins sprinting towards the water.

I sprint after her, and I can hear laughing as she continues running.

She makes her way through the yard, and onto the sand.

I'm close on her tail.

She runs across the sand, laughing.

I laugh, following right behind her.

She pulls of her shirt, revealing her bikini top underneath.

She throws the shirt onto the sand, still running.

I throw my shirt off as well, and drop it on the sand.

She unbuttons her jean shorts, and throws them on the sand as well.

Her ass looks fucking hot in those bikini bottoms.

I finally reach her, right before we get to the water.

I scoop her up bridal style, and she screams, as we both laugh.

"Patrick, put me down!" She screams, while giggling.

"No way," I laugh, as I reach the water, Abby in my arms.

I run into the water, spinning around with Abby in my arms.

We both laugh, and she screams between giggles.

I move in until the water is up to my waist, when I finally put her down.

Well, I don't exactly put her down.

I more hurl her into the water.

She comes up from under the surface quickly, her hair soaking.

Her loose bun has fallen out.

She laughs, making her way back over to me.

"Thank-you for that, that really woke me up." She laughs, sarcastically.

"Anytime." I wink.

She rolls her eyes playfully as she makes her way over to me.

She crawls up onto me, wrapping her arms around the back of my neck, as well as her legs around my waist.

I support her by holding up her thighs.

She places her hands on either side of my face, and pulls me in to kiss her.

I kiss her back, and our lips move in-sync with each other for a few moments.

I slip my tongue into her mouth, exploring it as I do so.

She runs her hands through my hair, her hands moving down and exploring my chest and stomach.

I hear her moan softly.

After a long and hard kiss, we pull apart.

She breathes hard, looking down.

She then looks up at me, her big brown eyes telling the story of a life all on their own.

"I love you." She says, her eyes locked with mine.

"I love you too, Abby. This love is ours." I say.

She blushes, biting her lip.

"This love is ours." She replies, quietly.

After a few more minutes in the water, Abigail and I make our way onto the shore where we sit together on the beach.

We sit in silence for a few minutes, simply enjoying each others' presences.

Abigail and I gaze out at the horizon, the ocean extending even further than that.

I look over at Abigail, but she is already looking back at me.

"What?" I ask, my mouth partly open.

She smiles, shaking her head.

"Nothing." She giggles, taking my hand.

I chuckle, intertwining my fingers with her.

I have no idea what she is thinking.

But somehow, not knowing what's going on in her beautiful mind is an intriguing thought.

Somehow, her thoughts remaining a mystery to me, is captivating.
