Today was the day. I had a feeling. It was like my mind was telling me that I had to come out as gay. I set it all up with Zayn. First I'll tell my parents, then Simon, then the press.
Honestly, I'm tired of telling people about this fake version of myself.
I'm tired of telling people time after time that I'm straight. I'm caught up in this huge lie, and it's time to tell the truth.
I'm meeting Louis in two months anyways, wouldn't they find out if they saw me touching him and kissing him, because I will definitely be doing that.
I walked into the living room, grabbing my iPhone 6, its the gold one, off the table and sitting down, swinging my legs up to rest on the once clean glass table.
Swiping on my phone, I click the calling app, and type in my mums number, knowing she always answers and shes almost always with dad. I click the call button, and listen to it ring for a bit.
"Hello?" I heard my mum softly say from her end of the phone.
"Hey mum!" I replied.
"Oh, hi Haz. How are you? What have you been up too? Why'd you call?" "I'm good thanks mum, and I actually called because I need to tell you and dad something." "Oh. Alright! Should I just put it on speaker then?" "Yeah, sure."
I heard my mum yell for my dad to come to the kitchen because I was on the phone and needed to tell them something.
"Hey, buddy! How's modelling going? Getting to take pictures with lots of hot women?" I heard my dad say through the line, I could tell I was on speaker, and I could hear my mum scolding my dad for saying that.
"Hey dad. Its going good. I have something to tell you guys. "Go for it!" "Okay, Ive never had to do this before, so I don't know how to do this. Ever since I was little, I knew. I didnt tell anyone about it though. No ones known all these years, until Zayn found out a few days ago. Is Gem there too? "Listening! Keep going bro." "Okay, well, Im just gonna say it I guess. Mum, dad, Gem, I-Im gay."
What I heard next, was not exactly expected.
"I knew it! Des, you owe me 5 bucks!" I heard my mum yell. "Fine Anne, I kinda guessed he was too, just didn't wanna make assumptions, cause IM a good parent."
"W-what? You guys knew?" "Oh, honey, its parents instinct. We knew Gemma liked guys and girls months before she came out bi. We just know, your our babies, we love you both a lot. Haz, you know we accept you, why wouldn't we? You know we accepted Gemma."
"Yeah, I guess. Thanks guys, I love you lots. I'll come visit soon. Oh and do me a favour? Tell the relatives so I don't have too? I already have enough people I need to tell." "For sure, talk later Haz! Bye!" "Bye guys."
I hung up and grinned. That was a lot better than I thought it was going to be. Im glad they accepted me, I had nothing to worry about. Now, all thats left, is Simon, because he's the one that will let the press know for me. I don't really have any super close friends that I need to tell who won't find out through the press, so its really only Simon.
Typing in Simons number, I held my phone up to my ear and waited.
"Hello, Syco modelling label here, how may we help you"? I heard Simon say through the phone. "Hey Simon, its Harry, I just had something I need to tell you. "Okay. Better not be quitting."
"No, no. I guess I'll just say it. I'm g-gay, and I don't really like doing all these shoots with almost naked girls. Im sorry."
"Oh. Okay, thats cool. Completely fine with me. I guess I'll let the press know so they can publish articles and things, and you can go in for an interview and things. Instead of photo shoots with almost naked women, we'll get guys, yeah?
"Really, Simon? Thank you so much. You're a big help. I appreciate it, thank you for accepting me, means a lot. "Anytime Harry, you're like a son to me. Hey, I'm getting a call, we'll talk later?
"Yeah, thanks again Simon, I really mean it. Makes me feel a lot more comfortable being gay. I'll talk to you later, bye." "Bye, Harry."
I set my phone on the table, and just sat there in awe. I never thought that everyone, especially Simon, would just accept me like that. Its kind of a huge thing. They all acted like they already knew. Funny.
Then, I remembered something. I should tell Lou that I came out gay to my family, I tell him everything. I'll text him, I have nothing better to do anyways, nothing is better than Lou.
@harryfan_123 - Hey Lou! You busy?
@fuckingharry - Hey H! No, I actually just got out of my last class of the day, whats up?
@harryfan_123 - Nothing, really. How about you? Anything your currently up to?
@fuckingharry - Nope. Currently relaxing on the couch watching Netflix. Same as always.
@harryfan_123 - Thats nice, I suppose. What are you watching?
@fuckingharry - Currently, Mean Girls. It's a good movie, surprisingly. Have you watched it?
@harryfan_123 - Yeah, I watched it with my ex, Taylor. Back when I thought I liked girls. It is pretty good, I like it. Maybe we can watch together when I meet you.
@fuckingharry - I like the thought of that.
@harryfan_123 - As do I. Hey, I actually have something to tell you.
@fuckingharry - Uh oh. Good or bad?
@harryfan_123 - Its actually really great!
@fuckingharry - Okay cool. Hit me with it.
@harryfan_123 - Well, I came out gay to everyone today.
@fuckingharry - Congratulations, H! Im really proud of you. Must've taken a lot of courage. How'd you do it?
@harryfan_123 - I didn't do anything fancy. I just called my mum, and she put the phone on speaker for my dad and sister to hear as well, and I told them. My sister is bi sexual, so of course they accepted me. Then, it was my agent, and I did the same with him. My family said they would tell my relatives, and my agent is telling my co workers and my only friend knew a few days ago.
@fuckingharry - Thats really great, H. Im proud of you. Sometimes, casual is better than fancy, right?
@harryfan_123 - Thanks! I guess so. At least its done and over with, right?
@fuckingharry - Yeah! I find it cool that everyone accepted you. I lost all my friends but the two I have currently when I came out. Well, theres also some chick who really wants to sleep with me, no matter how many times I tell her I like dicks. Her names Eleanor, shes really annoying.
@harryfan_123 - I get it. Taylor still seems to be hooked on me, I don't know why, she was an awful girlfriend.
@fuckingharry - That bad?
@harryfan_123 - Pretty bad.
@fuckingharry - OH MY GOD H GUESS WHAT?
@harryfan_123 - What??
@fuckingharry - So you know how that one magazine, people magazine does literally everything on Harry?
@harryfan_123 - Yeah, what about it?
@fuckingharry - They just published an article. Harry came out gay! I have a chance with him! Yes! No need to worry though, I still like you. Isn't it cool, you guys came out on the same day!
@harryfan_123 - Y-yeah, that is pretty cool! Hey listen, I've gotta go, works calling, talk to you later, yeah?
@fuckingharry - Okay, bye H!

I turned off my phone and ran my fingers through my hair. I just about gave him my real identity. I shouldn't have been so stupid.
That was a little too close.

Sorry if it sucked, Ive never came out gay or bisexual or experienced anyone coming out yet, so I wouldn't know if I did okay or not, hopefully I did.
