I've been working on this for quite a while now I've deleted it and wrote it again like 3times because I didn't think it was good. I winced as another scar formed on my arm. I had lost the hungergames against Jerome. He was cheering while I tried to hide my pained expression.
"Gg biggums. So as the winner of the hungerdeans take us out buddy." I say trying not to sound in pain, which was really hard concidering my arm felt like I was dragging a knife over it.
"Bye!" I heard Jerome say. I added a 'take care' and ended my recording.
"See you downstairs for dinner in a bit!" Jerome said ending the call. I lifted my sleeve to reveil a large bleeding cut. They're getting worse. It started a couple years ago after Seto was kicked from the team. Everytime I would lose in the hungergames I got a cut somewhere on my body. It started with small scratches but now it has turned to big bleeding cuts. That's why winning is so important to me. I took out the first aid kit I had in my office and bandaged my arm. I carefully pull down my sleeve.
"Mitch Domino's has arrived!" Jerome yelled from the kitchen. I get up and walk over to him. He doesn't know about my 'curse' I'm not sure if he would even let me play if he knew. I saw 3 boxes on the counter when I walked in the kitchen. Jerome was grabbing some glassed and a fork and knife for me since he already knew I eat pizza with them.
"There you go." He says handing over everything.
"I thaught we only ordered 2 pizza's"
"Yeah 2 pizza's and this." He opens the 3th box showing me it's content.
"I have no clue to what it is but it looked great and I wanted to try it." He continued. I just nodded. I've known Jerome for quite some time to already know he always wants to try new things, unless it's vegetables. I smiled at that. He gets all childish when I try and make him eat vegetables, it's kinda cute. Oh yeah I might add I kinda have a crush on my bestfriend who is also my roommate in the house I bought in Florida. But back to now. I shrugged.
"As long as you eat it."
"Hey I do with my money what I want." He says in a joking manner.
"But I gave you money to pay everything because you didn't have any. So technically it's my money." I pointed out in a funny voice. We both laughed a bit at ourselves being crazy. I finally took the box and opend it to reveil the peperoni pizza I've been waiting for. I smelled the air sighed at it's diliciousness. I moved my arms foreward so that my sleve would pull up a little and won't hang in my plate.
"Come to papa." I say taking a bite.
"Mitch don't pretend to be the pizza's father it has feelings too." He says.
"What is that supposed to mean?!" I ask generally confused by his statement.
"That you would be a terrible father for eating your child."
"It's not my bad my children are dilicious!" I say making us both burst out laughing. I stopped laughing and just stared at Jerome still laughing his ass off. He really has a beautifull smile.
