Aliyah pov
I woke up and it was time for uni. I went in the washroom . My face was pale and my eyes were red and puffy. I cried the whole night thinking about what had happened
I washed my face with cold water and brushed my Teeth. After that I went downstairs. I wasn't in the mood for breakfast
"Hey lovelies" Aisha said as she came in the kitchen
"Hey " I replied and fake a smile
"Aliyah what's wrong? U didn't sleep at night? " Aisha asked
" I was about to ask her but u know maybe she was talking with shehry the whole night" Sarah said and I was on the verge of crying on hearing his name
I controlled my tears and smiled at them
I ran back to my room and closed the door and tears running down my cheeks
I wiped away my tears and washed my face and get dressed for uni
After a while we were in uni. I sat in my place and wasn't talking to the girls too much
Soon Shehryaar came. When he saw me, a huge smile appeared on his face. I looked away and he came and sat next to me
I ignore him completely
Just at that moment our teacher came
"Hey what's wrong? R u alright?" He asked and held my hand
"Shehry we r in class right now so please let me concentrate " I said and he left my hand and his face expressions changed
First class was finished and we went outside to the canteen.
Shehryaar pov
"Hey Aliyah" I held her hand and stopped her. The girls excused themselves and went away
"Hey babe what's wrong?" I asked and brought her closer to me
"U okay?" I asked as my hand made its way on her cheek
"Huh" She said sarcastically
I couldn't figure out what happened but I was definitely stressed about what's worrying her. Why is she behaving like that. I just couldn't understand
"Hey talk to me. What's wrong? Did somebody say something to you?" I asked but she chose not to reply
"R u fine ?" I asked
"Yea I'm . I'll be right back" she said and went away before I could say something
I went in the canteen and she wasn't there
"Hey shehry " Rabia said
"Hey. Uhm u guys have seen Aliyah?" I asked
"Oh come on shehry. Yesterday the whole night you talked to her now atleast talk to us for some time" Sarah said and they laughed
"Last night?" I asked
"Yea. You talked to her the whole night and she didn't sleep " Aisha said
"But I didn't even call her last night " I said
"What? But in the morning her face looked like she didn't sleep all night and when Sarah asked that u talked to shehry the whole night and she smiled so we thought that yea she was talking to you" Aisha said
"I'll see where she is" I said and they nodded
I walked away and soon I saw her sitting on a bench
"Hey" I said but she stood up and was walking away. I held her hand
"Hey what's wrong?" I asked
"R you fine?" I asked
"Yea I'm. I'm fine." She said but her eyes and the way she was behaving say she was lying
"No you're not. Talk to me. Am all ears" I said
"U know what. Leave me alone" she said
I was angry now. What the hell is wrong with her!!
She was walking away but I stopped her. I caught her by her waist and her hands clapped on my chest
"Leave me!" She said
"No Aliyah!! What the hell is wrong with you!!! Why r u behaving like that. And that also only with me! With the girls you are talking nicely but why are u behaving like that with me?"I said kinda yelling at her
Her eyes were welled up with tears.
"Leave me" she said
It feels like she was broken. A tear rolled down her cheek.
She was crying
I brought her into a hug and she kept on sobbing.
"Shhh" I said but she kept on crying
My heart was beating fast and I couldn't figure out why is she crying and why is she so upset
She broke the hug and wiped away her tears.
I was about to say something but she stopped me
"Don't! Don't talk to me." She said
"But what did I do?" I asked
"The thing that I've never imagined in my whole life!" She said and walked away. I stood there, glued to the ground. I couldn't believe my ears.
She's sad and was crying because of me. But what did I do? I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.
I must find her and asked her what did I do
Atif pov
"Yo ati look Raihaan wore the same T-shirt like you" waqas said
"Huh I swear am not wearing this T-shirt again!" I said
"Hahahahah I was about to tell you the same man " sain said
"Guys I'll just go to the washroom" I said
I walked away and made my way to the bathroom.
Aliyah pov
I went to sit on an another bench and I put my face in my hand and was crying.
Suddenly I felt a hand on my shoulder. I stood up and hugged him and kept on crying.
"He betrayed me" I said in between my tears
"Your best friend betrayed me" I continued saying and he hugged me back
"It's ok am here" he said
I stopped crying when I heard the voice. I broke the hug and looked up at his face and my eyes widened
Shehryaar pov
I went to search for her and there she was. She was sitting on a bench and she covered her face in her hand.
I took a step to go to her but I stopped automatically after what I saw .
Raihaan put his hand on Aliyah's shoulder and Aliyah stood up and they both hugged. I couldn't believe what I just saw.
Aliyah hated him! How could she?!
She was the one saying that she can't stand Raihaan and all so what the hell is all this?! And she's hugging him as if they both get along really well with each other.
I just couldn't look at them and walked away from there
Wait. Aliyah was behaving strangely today and all. Is it that she's back with Raihaan and wants to end our relationship! My heart nearly stopped thinking about that.
No way! What's wrong with you shehry?! How could you!! You are doubting your princess!! Just remove these thoughts from your mind. She can never do something like that. She loves you, alright. Just get that thought off your mind!
Aliyah pov
I looked up and to my surprise it wasn't the person I thought!
I thought that I hugged atif but when I broke the hug it was Raihaan
I wiped my tears away
"What the hell Raihaan! " I yelled at him
"How could you hug me?!" I added furiously
"It was you who hugged me" he spoke
"I thought it was ati-" I said and shut my eyes
They were both wearing the same T-shirt
I looked at Raihaan and he smirked.
I went away from there
I went to the washroom and washed my face. I walked out and after a while I saw atif
"Hey everything ok?" He asked
"Uhm yea " I said nodding my head
"Ok. It was just that shehry was searching for you. Did u meet him?" He asked
"Uhh no" I replied
"Hey everything alright between you guys?" He asked and I just smiled at him and walked away
Shehry pov
"Yo shehry!" Atif yelled from the back and I turned around and saw he was running to me. I stopped and he came to me
"What's wrong?" He asked
"What what's wrong?" I asked confusedly
"Between you and Aliyah" he said
"I- I seriously don't know man" I replied
"What? But did something happen?" He asked
"Since this morning she was behaving very strangely and she was even crying. I asked her what's the matter and she said that I did something that she could never imagine. I don't know about what's she talking about" I told him
"I just met her and asked if there's something wrong between you both, she just smiled and walked away" atif said
"I need to talk to her man. But she isn't ready to listen to me" I said shaking my head
"Don't worry I'll do something" atif said
I hugged him
"Thanks man" I said and he patted my back.
"Let's go now. Time for our next class" ati said and I nodded
We walked to the class and she was sitting in her place as usual
I looked at her and she looked at me in the eyes and then just completely ignored me.
I sat next to her and she didn't spoke a word. I looked at atif and he nodded assuring me that everything will be fine
My phone vibrated and it was a msg from ati
Atif: Don't worry, I'll think of something
Me: thanks bro. But she isn't even looking at me
Atif: both of you come at my place today . I'll ask Sarah to get Aliyah and you just come after uni alright
Me: ok. After uni I'll come
'Texting Zoya huh' I heard Aliyah saying under her breath
"Excuse me?!" I said and looked at her with a confused face
"Excused!" She said
Zayaan pov
It was 7 in the morning and I woke up to the sound of my alarm. I've to go for a meeting at 8.30 I brushed my teeth and got dressed. Seemed like I won't have time for breakfast. I walked to Zarah's room and she was sleeping like a baby. I smiled looking at her and closed the door slowly making sure that she won't wake up.
It was 7. 50 and I went down waiting for the car to come and fetch me. After a while the car came and the driver took me to my destination.
It was 11.40 and the meeting was finally over. I took out my phone and saw 6 missed call from Zarah
I called her and she took the phone instantly
"Hello" I said
"Zayaan is that a way to leave home! Is the meeting more important?! How could you be so careless? Ok where r you right now? Wherever you are just stay there am coming to pick you up!" She started bombarding me with questions as she picked up which made me laughed
"Woo woo woo! Calm down girl. I ain't hanging up right now. And when was I careless? What did I do? " I asked
"Zay you didn't even have your breakfast this morning. You know how important it is to have breakfast before a meeting. Zay it's nearly 12 and you haven't eaten anything since morning" she said and a smile made its way on my lip
"Zarah Zarah Zarah. I bought a coffee on my way before coming alright don't worry. And the meeting went fine" I said
"Alright. But listen! Wherever you are just stay there am coming alright " she said
"Ok boss" I replied
"That's good" she said and hung up
I didn't even tell her where am I
Before she start questioning me more, I quickly sent her a msg about my location.
Soon she was here
I opened the door and got in.
"Hi" I said with a large smile
"Forget about hi" she said and open a box
"Open your mouth " she ordered me and put a pain au chocolat in my mouth
"Zarah!" I said with my mouth full
"Shhh. Eat first " she said
I ate it
"We r going to have lunch " she said
"I just had a pain au chocolat. Give me time." I said
"Nop we r going for lunch rn " she said as she started the engine
Soon we were in front of a restaurant
We walked out and Sarah said that she'll order the food
Soon the food came
Yallah! She ordered lots of food
"Do you have any friend who's coming to join us for lunch?" I asked
"What?" She said
"No I mean u ordered all this food so" I said
"Just shut up and start eating" she said
"You're crazy" I said and she giggled
"Thank you" she replied
"You know how you were behaving when I called you" I asked raising my eyebrow
"Nah. How?" She said eating a piece of chicken
"Like a girlfriend or maybe a wife!" I said and she started laughing
"No am serious" I said and she continued laughing
"You're crazy" he said
"Me! And as a girlfriend" she said and continued laughing
"I don't even know how does it feel to be someone's girlfriend " she said
"And to be loved by someone " she said as her laughter stopped
"Uhm we can change this into reality. So that you know how it feels to be someone's girlfriend and to be loved like a princess" I said and winked at her
"U gonna make me your girlfriend ?" She asked
" I guarantee you will break up with me in less than 2 weeks time" she said
"Am so talkative and am so crazy and all. You won't be able to handle me" she said and I kept looking at her with a smirk
"What?" She asked and my eyes didn't move from her and my smile remained intact
Shehry pov
Class was finished and I went with atif and waqas at their place
"Sarah is getting her here " atif said
"Look. there's a room upstairs. Go inside before she comes shehry and when she comes anyhow we'll send her in that room and I'll close the door" waqas said and I nodded
"They are here!" Atif said and I hurried myself in that room
Waqas pov
"Sarah be quick alright" I heard Aliyah saying
"Yea just 2 min" Sarah replied her
"Hey girls " I said as I saw them
"Hey where's atif?" Sarah asked
"Uhh in his room go and meet him there " I said and she nodded
"I'll stay here" Aliyah said and Sarah went to atif's room
"Uhm Aliyah can u come with me to that room. Actually I have to search for an old copybook. I need some notes and I can't really find it so can u help me to search it" I asked her
"Uhh yea sure" she said
We walked to that room
"Get in I'll go to the washroom and I'll be back" I said and she nodded
As she walked in I slowly closed the door.
I went in the living room and Sarah and atif were there
"She's in the room?" Atif asked and I nodded
"I just hope that everything goes well" Sarah said and I nodded
Aliyah pov
I walked in the room and was waiting for waqas
"Aliyah" I heard shehry's voice behind me
I turned around and he was there looking at me
"What r u doing here ?" I asked
I looked at the door and saw that it was closed
"Ohh now I get it. It was all your plan" I said
"No wait we need to talk alright" he said
"Talk about what huh?" I asked
"Us" he said
"Listen I don't know what happened" he said as he came closer to me
"But hey we can sort things out right" he said
"Why r u behaving like this with me?" He asked
"Oh really?! You're asking me that!" I said
"Aliyah will u please tell me what did I do wrong?" He asked me. His tone was deep
"You seriously don't know what's wrong with me? Huh" I said
"Yea right. You thought that I'll never now about your plans, about betraying me and all!" I said quite loud
He clenched his jaw and held both my arms tightly
"Stop beating around the bush and tell me what the hell did I do wrong ?!" He yelled at me
Tears were forming in my eyes but I blinked them.
"You broke my trust shehry" I said and a tear run down my cheek
"You don't love me" I said and closed my eyes letting the tears go
He left me and I opened my eyes. His face expressions changed
"Do u know what u just said?" He asked
"I know. You are playing with my feelings" I said
"Me? I never believed you could think like that about me" he said
"You made me think like that. You thought that you're engaged with me so whatever you do I won't say anything or what. But no! Seeing you with another girl hurts" I said
"It freaking hurts!!" I yelled
"With another girl?" He asked in a low tone
"I never ever dared to look at any other girl the way I look at you! I love you" he said
"You touched another girl! You played with my feelings! You hurt me!" I said
"Even you turned out to be like the other boys" I added
"Who's the girl you are talking about?" He asked
"The one who came at your place, in your bedroom and was in your arm yesterday " I said. I felt my voice fading away
"You mean Zoya !" He asked and I looked at him
"Ohh god! Aliyah you had a misunderstanding !" He said
"What I saw was a misunderstanding. Another girl in your bedroom was a misunderstanding. Another girl in your arm was a freaking misunderstanding!!" I shouted
"How could you shehry how could you?" I said in my tears
"Ohh so you don't believe me? What about when you were hugging Raihaan?" He asked
"It was just a-" I said but he interrupted me
"Misunderstanding ? Huh? " he asked
"I was mistaken Raihaan to be-" I said but he again talked
"What ? mistaken him to be me?" He said
"Shehry you're-" I said
"That's what am trying to explain. I even slapped Zoya for what she was doing! I think you haven't seen when I slapped her. So please when you don't know a full story better keep quiet !" He said and his word stabbed me like a sword
"Fine! You know what, it'll be better if I won't say anything! I'll keep quiet! I won't talk to u! I. Am. Not. Saying. A. Word. To. You." I said to him
he opened the door and bang it before going.
I've never imagine us in such a situation before. I never thought that one day I'll have to see us like that. Not talking to each other.
I kept on sobbing and felt like I was falling apart.
