- I looked down at him. Who did he think he was, showing up like this? He had no right to be here and yet here he was, standing in front of me with tears dripping down his face.
"What do you want?" I ask a bit harshly. Who could blame me? This is the guy who stole my mate from me for gods sake.
"Sebastian, Bane is missing. I don't know where he went. The last time I saw him was when you were on vacation and he went to go check on Zain. Have you seen him?" Miles asks, his voice breaking and crackling. I shake my head slowly.
"No I haven't seen him." Miles started crying. I invited him in and he told me what had happened. As I started to think about it, I hadn't really talked to Zain since I got home. I've been too busy and he's not much of anything to me.
"Don't worry Miles, he'll show up eventually. I'm sure of it," I say, trying to convince myself more than him. Where had that idiot gone to now?
