Corinne's POV
I looked at him and I was the only thing I thought I could do. I grabbed his face and kissed him. When our lips met I felt him pull back a little but then he leaned in and we had a connection that I never had with anyone before. I never understood why people would say 'it was magical' or 'there were fireworks' until now. As we kissed there was so much happiness and so many butterflies in my stomach that made the experience all the more 'magical'. The kiss lasted for about thirty seconds then I pulled away. We were holding each others hands at this point.
"W-was that a yes?" He asked stunned.
"Mhmm-hm," I said with a flirty nod, "I'm tired Spence so I'll see you tomorrow okay?"
"We have the weekend off Rin" he replied in a questioning tone.
"Who said I'd see you at work?" I said with a wink." Bye" I unlocked my door and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek and let my hand drift away from his.
"Bye," was all he said but I meant so much more to me.
After I closed my door I leaned on to it and smiled so big it hurt my mouth. Tonight and been fun, exciting, nerve wrecking but it had also been perfect.
I heard his feet wonder off down the hall shortly after I closed the door. All i could do was sit down in my couch and think about how perfect of a night I had just had. I had a great night with my friends, the only down side was that a murder investigation and had gotten together with the guy of my dreams. Other than that It was truly an amazing night.
I sat on the couch for about an hour going between watching tv and reading. Finally I decided that it was time for bed. after I had gotten my pajamas on and got comfy under the covers I pulled out my phone,
To Spencer:
Night, thank you
About five minutes later I received a text saying,
From Spencer:
Goodnight Rin
As i feel asleep I felt that I never let the smile fall off my face.
*the next morning*
When I woke up all I could think about was coffee. I looked over to my bed side table and my clock read 9:30 am. Even thought that was about eight hours of sleep I was still exhausted. I sat up on my bed, and just took a quiet moment to relive what had happened last night to make sure it wasn't just a dream
and I slipped on my slippers and made my way to the kitchenette. After I turned on my Keurig i went back to my room to check my phone. All that was in was a few Instagram notifications, and Facebook alerts. When I put it to my side and walked back in the other room. When I returned the machine was heated up and ready to brew. I had gotten my cup ready with my creamer and sugar and hit the button. While my cup was filling up I got a text.
Spencer:
Good morning. I am coming to get you for coffee. I hope you are up.
I couldn't help but smile at the text. I could imagine him scratching the back of his neck and looking so innocently always while composing it. I just put the cup I had just made in the fridge for later and I quickly got dressed in a pair of leggings, a sweater and a white infinity scarf. I wiped off all of my makeup from last night and pulled my hair out of the braids I put it I last night. I loved when my hair was wavy.
Soon after sitting down on the couch, there was a knocking on my door. I walked over and couldn't help but be over joyed. When I got to the door, before I opened it I got an idea.
"Who is it?" I said in a flirty tone.
"Umm Reid," he replied confused.
"Sorry I don't know anyone by the name of Reid.but my boyfriend is supposed to be picking me up. " I stated while giggling.
"Ohh... well then is my girlfriend Dr. Corinne Jennings here?" He said this in tone that was mixed with awkwardness and happiness. Again I could imagine him looking down and scratching his neck softly.
"We'll now that my boyfriend Dr. Spencer Reid has asked," I opened the door," yes she is!" When I opened the door he stood there with an outstretched hand. I grabbed it and he gave me a quick peck on the cheek. "So where are we going?"
"A coffee shop that's a few miles away." He replied as we made our way through the building and to the car.
"Okay"
In the car we joked around and talked about just about everything. I told him bout how he made me waste perfectly good coffee. Talked a little about work and the case we had just finished. He asked me more about my horseback and volleyball years and how I wanted to get back into it. He told me about a class he was teaching at the end of the week. I could tell he was nervous because he'd didn't do that great in front of large amounts of people. We were total opposites but I fell head over heels for him. After about half an hour we arrived at this cute little coffee shop for breakfast. Of course he opened both doors for me then offered his hand.
"Table for two?" The hostess asked
"Yes please," Spencer replied.
She showed us to a comfy booth in the back of the shop. And handed us menus. It mostly contained of pancakes, waffles, and eggs specials. Breakfast was definitely my favorite meal. I looked up at Spencer and he was squinting and furrowing his eyebrows at the menu. I couldn't help but giggle.
He looked up, "what?"
"You just look cute," I said as I leaned over the table to give him a kiss.
He rolled his eyes at me, " what are you going to get?"
"Probably chocolate chip pancakes because I'm four, and if course coffee. You?"
"Umm probably a mix of everything. I forgot to eat dinner last night and I'm starving." He replied sounding sort of mad at himself. He was adorable.
I knew he was thinking it to so I just said it, " spence when are we going to tell the team?" This was going to be such a hard answer because dating coworkers was frowned open at the FBI.
"Well why don't we wait about a month or two and just keep you and me out little secret." He said this with a serious tone which then became flirty.
"Perfect idea Dr. Reid," I replied
"Well thank you Dr. Jennings," he said right before he giving me a kiss.
The waitress came up and took our order. We both ordered what we said we would with plenty of coffee. I put my hand in the table and checked my phone and all the notifications from this morning. Spencer reached out grabbed my hand and it was like almost unconsciously rubbed his thumb in circles across the backside of my hand. I loved this feeling. After catching up with my social media I looked up into Spencer's gorgeous brown eyes and smiled. He had a stray strand of hair hanging in front of his face that I reached out to move away while touching his cheek and smiling. He smiled back as I sat down and squeezed my hand harder.
Spencer's POV
She was so beautiful. Her hair was up in a ponytail today and she was wearing minimal makeup. Her hazel eyes sparkled every single time she smiled, and she was always smiling. We talked and joked until our food came out. It smelt delicious. I felt like I was eating very fast but Rin ate faster than I did. Who knew such a small little person could eat so much food so quickly. I laughed at her.
She looked up at me and said with a mouth full of food, "what?"
I couldn't help but laugh even harder.
She rolled her but giggled as we finished our meal. I paid and then we got up to leave. When we were about to open the doors Corinne noticed it was raining.
"Hey lets just go back to my place and watch movies and play bored games. Alright?"
"Perfect," I responded while planting a soft kiss onto her forehead. I grabbed her hand and we ran through the rain to my car across the parking lot.
During the drive Rin just looked out the window and watched the rain fall. I slipped my hand on to her knee. The car ride was peaceful and uneventful.
When we arrived at her apartment she unlocked the door and ran to the kitchen and started to boil water for some tea. While the water was boiling she pointed to the cabinet under the tv and said," the movies are under there or we can rent one on demand," she set up blankets and pillows on the couch and went back into the kitchen to get the tea. The way she prepared was cute.
When she was done we picked out a movie and I sat on the couch leaning against the arm of it. She then sat in between my legs and placed her head onto my chest. We watched about four movies, play about 50 rounds of chess, a game of monopoly and just talked. By the time we were done with all of our activities it was dinner time.
"I should head out now Rinny it's dinner time," I said starting to get off the couch," she grabbed my hand pulling me back.
"No I'll cook for you and then you can sleepover i don't want you to leave yet." She looked at me with puppy dog eyes.
"Rin we've only been dating for a day!"
"No no, not like that. One of us could sleep on the couch. I'll make your favorite foooooood. Pleeeeeasssseeee Spencey?" She pleaded and begged. I found it adorable.
"Fine. But one condition," she looked at me with wide eyes, "you have to sleep in your bed."
"Do I have to? Spence your my guest. I'll take the couch. " She said as she walked over to me and slipped her hands around my waist.
"No Rin-" she cut me off by indulging my lips into hers. The kiss quickly became passionate and then she pulled away. "I'll take the couch got it, now come on I'm hungry," she said with a smirk.
"Alright," I replied kissing her on the forehead.
"What would you like?" I remembered she was cooking my pick.
"Hmmm how about.... We just order Chinese food," I stated because I knew she was exhausted.
"Good idea. I'll admit it, I'm not the best cook." Shed walked into the kitchen and pulled out the menu we ordered just about everything and they told us that it would be about 40 minutes. While we she was on the phone I walked back over to the couch and picked up the book Corinne was reading this morning before I picked her up. Soon came back over, sat on my lap and nuzzled her head into my neck. That's when I got the idea.
"So Rinny? You haven't told me one if the most important things about yourself..." She looked at me very confused, " tell me more about your family. " I was curious. She hadn't really told the team if me much about them in the time she's been there. She knows about my mom and my dad. They are mostly the only family I have besides the team.
"Spence, my family is kinda hard to talk about," she sighed. I thought she was going to stop but she actually continued. "Well you already know about my mom. She was a lawyer and she was killed. She's sort of a motivation for me to work at the BAU. Umm my dad he was an amazing guy and I was a total daddy's girl growing up but after my mom died he went off the rocker and disappeared. After he was MIA for about two years his body was found in London. I have a little sister. She's fifteen now but I haven't seen her in years." She started to tear up and I placed my hand on her back. "I have a big family in both sides and they have all been super supportive but I haven't seen them in six years which was the last time I was in Buffalo other than our case."
I stopped her and grabbed the arch of her back and pulled her in to a deep passionate kiss one like I've never experienced before in the middle of it there was a knock on the door.
She looked at me,"Spencer you have to let me up so I can go get your food. "
" okay" I nodded.
Corinne's POV
As he let me up I was sure to flaunt my hips a little extra in my leggings. When I opened the door I paid the delivery man with a tip of course and carried the food back to Spencer. I wasn't really that hungry so I just had a few dumplings and chicken fried rice. Spencer helped himself to a little of everything. Once I was sure we weren't going to eat anymore, I put the leftovers into the fridge. When I came back Spencer was looking at the book I had been reading so I curled up into a blanket and started to close my eyes. I was half asleep when I felt Spence kiss my forehead, place his hands underneath my knees and back, pick me up, carrying me bridal style into my bed room. He then carefully placed me underneath the covers and gave me one finale kiss on the cheek before heading back out to the couch I had set up earlier.
Today has been more perfect than yesterday I thought to myself before drifting to sleep.
*morning*
When i woke up my clock read 8:30. I recalled yesterday and hoped it wasn't just a dream. To reassure myself I waked up and saw Spence there asleep on the couch with his tie taken off and his shirt unbuttoned. I then walked over to my kitchenette and started to brew some coffee when I got a text

Hey Cor! Em, Garcia and I were wondering if you'd like to have a girls day today? Text me back when you wake up.
As I started to responded I felt cold hands wrap around my waist and soft lips on my cheeks. "Hey you," I said while looking up at him," how'd you sleep." I asked.
" Great actually," he gestured toward my phone, " you should come hang out with them today. " he said his sexy morning voice I had never heard before.
"Well then I might just do that then as long as you drink a cup of coffee with me before we leave." He nodded in response, still holding me close while the coffee continued to brew. I texted JJ back
Hey I'd love to. Why don't you guys come over at ten and you can fill me in in what we're going to do.
I looked towards spence while starting to pour out coffee," that leaves you here for a half hour before I have to start getting ready. Now follow me." I said handing him the mug.
I lead him out onto my balcony. I found it so peaceful out here in the mornings. We sat down on the two patio chairs I had placed out there two weeks earlier. All we did was hold hands and drink coffee before he had to leave. It was soothing. On his way out I gave him a quick peck on the lips and sent him on his way. It was now nine o'clock when I received a text,

I quickly put on a pair on dark wash skinny jeans and a blank vneck tee shirt with a cute hoddie over it for now. Then I made myself a bagel with strawberry cream cheese and sat on the couch to finish my book before the ladies arrived.
* ten o'clock *
I was so happy when I heard the knock I know on the door but as soon as I hopped up I noticed something under the couch," be right there ladies!" I said as I pulled Spencer's plum colored tie from under my sofa, 'that would have been awkward' I mumbled to myself then I made my way to the door. As soon as the ladies walked in the festivities began.
We did our nails, hair, talked about boys, gossiped, played board games, are my leftovers and drank coffee and all the other typical girls day things. Emily told us about her new cat Sergio, JJ spoke about her son Henry's crush on a little girl in his class, and Penelope talked about her social media life. It was such a fun day I'm glad I spent it with my girls. By the time we were done it was nine o'clock at night. I capped up the wine and escorted everyone out," see you tomorrow ladies," I said while blowing kisses and watching them exit my apartment.
This weekend had been amazing.
