RYAN'S POV
I rushed into my bedroom, tears rolling down my cheeks because I knew my only friend I've ever had was in danger. "CHRISTOPHER!" I shouted. My mask slid down to my chin, I was breathing strangely, and my body was limp. I felt like I had just woken up to a nightmare.
Felix was sitting on Christopher, holding his hands down. He looked up to me with his blue eyes, looking for help. I quickly pulled myself together, and ran down the hall to the nearest phone to call the police. I heard a loud slap, followed by footsteps from behind. It took all my courage, to not run away. I still couldn't believe why Felix was here, fighting him. I can't believe I actually said his name. I think it was actually the first time I actually called him by his first name. Tight fists grabbed me from behind, throwing me to the ground. However, he was too late. The police had heard the call, and rushed over in a few minutes. Meanwhile, Christopher was trying to escape. He only made it halfway down the street, until he was eventually handcuffed. I wasn't that badly injured, only small bruises around my neck. Felix however, was another story...
He was rushed off to the hospital. The paramedics said I was fine, and that I should go back to Felix's house. I walked back, and now I was stuck at his house, all alone. Felix's Mother was coming back from her English-learning school to go meet Felix at the hospital. I wish I could go to...
I lay in Felix's bed, staring at the ceiling for what seemed like hours. Light streamed through the window, and I had been trying to fall asleep but wasn't having any luck. I wanted to go visit Felix, but I just...couldn't. What would I say to him? He was fighting Christopher, for me. Everything that has been happening to me lately either seemed like a dream, or like a nightmare. All of my feelings were just shaken up... When I met Felix, was probably the best day of my life. I've learned a lot of things because of him; even if he's just by my side. He taught me how to fall in love.
FELIX'S POV
They took me away in an ambulance, because apparently I was injured. I didn't feel injured. I felt like I had just won a battle. I looked out the window from my hospital bed. The sun was starting to go down, and I was supposed to be getting some rest. How could I? I was too busy wondering about what he was doing at the moment. I wanted to get up out of this stupid hospital bed and go home.
RYAN'S POV
I ran down to the bus stop, bought a ticket, and sat down. I was going to get the fastest rout to the hospital. I needed to tell Felix something. I should have been there for him...He doesn't know anyone there. He's all alone, with no mother, and no father there with him. The second the bus doors opened, I rushed out, waving at the driver who looked astonished. It was the same driver I met on my first day, the one with the wrinkled skin, and squinted eyes. I ran down the street, just looking forward. I was going as fast as my legs could take me and I almost tripped but, I kept going.
I landed on the front office desk, panting heavily. "I'm looking for...*huff* Felix...*huff* Kjellberg? *huff*" The woman immediately told me where to go, and I ran down the long hallways which felt like they went on forever. Finally, I spotted the door, and flung it open. Felix stared at me with a blank face, a nurse sitting on top of him, three of her shirt buttons were undone. He looked over at me for help, looking like he had no idea what to do. I just stood there for a few seconds, saying nothing. Finally the nurse said sweetly. "Do you guys want some time alone? I'm sorry I was just..." She thought for a few second. "Giving Felix his medicine..." She smiled and got off of him, dusting off her uniform and buttoning up her shirt. I was still leaning up against the doorway, processing what had just happened. She brushed by me, giving me a flirty smile. Then, she was gone. I was pissed off. Who does she think she is? Walking in here like that. Did you see how short that skirt was!? Then I realized, I had just said that aloud. Felix laughed a little bit to try to get rid of the awkwardness. "Thanks for saving me. One second I was just laying here, and the next thing I know she's flashing me..." Then we both start giggling. "What a naughty nurse!" Even though I said that, I felt somewhat...jealous.
"So..." Felix says, coughing awkwardly. "Why are you here? I'm fine, you know." I cut into his sentence. "I need to ask you something important." I got closer, and closer to him. I pulled of my mask, showing him my ugly face once again. Felix looked like he was going to say something, but he quickly dismissed it. "Why do you hang out with me, Felix?" I asked. "I'm so ugly. I have issues. I'm only a teenager and someone wants to kill me... I don't have any friends...Why?" Felix clears his throat, looking like he has no idea what to say or do. "Wh-where did that come from?" He laughed awkwardly. "Listen." He sets his hand on my shoulder, looking into my eyes. I'm blushing a bit, by how calm and relaxed he looks. Meanwhile, I'm freaking out, and my heart is pumping extremely fast. "Ryan. You're my one true friend. I chose you, because I was...well...I can't exactly describe it. No matter what anyone thinks, I still want to be you friend..." He started coughing, his hand falling off of my shoulder, and his eyes wouldn't meet mine. "I like mysterious guys. You, Ryan...are very mysterious." Then he started laughing again. I don't know why though. Tears welled up in my eyes, and without thinking, I fell down to my knees. My arms crawled up on Felix's chest, locking him in a tight hug. I don't know why I did that...but I couldn't stop now. I nuzzled my head into Felix's chest harder, tears still pouring out. "I'm just...so lucky I have you...and...I'm so glad that you're alright..." I sobbed. Felix's hands were up, and he slowly brought his hands down, hugging me back. I looked up at his face, Tears still coming down. I stared into his blue eyes, unsure of what I wanted to happen next. Felix answered for me, pulling my face closer, lifting my mask up and placing of soft kiss to my lips. I was surprised, but I kissed back. I reached up for another kiss, my hands finding the back of his head. I entwined my fingers in Felix's long hair, as Felix's hands gripped tightly around my waist. That moment, seemed perfect to me. Suddenly, the door opened, and in walked the naughty nurse and Felix's mother, who's jaws were nearly dropping to the floor. Felix and I pulled apart, a long string of saliva still connecting us. I dropped to the floor, and smiled nervously, my face burning. Felix leaned against the back of the bed, copying me. Felix's mother walked in, and patted me on the head, and said something to Felix in Swedish. I have no idea what was going on, but Felix looked embarrassed and his mother looked concerned. When they finished talking, his mother looked down at me and smiled slyly. She pulled out a chair from the corner of the room, and surprisingly said something in English. "Guess what?" She smiled. She had a thick Swedish accent, much thicker than Felix's. "I've been taking English classes!" She clapped her hands cheerfully. Felix smirked. "Do you know how to say anything else?" His mother frowned. "No..." We all sat around in the room, laughing with each other.
The doctors came in, saying that Felix could go home now. The only thing was, he had to take care of his wounds properly. I promised I'd help him out, especially with ones on his back. Felix's mother and I helped Felix out to the car, and we arrived at home. Felix leaned on me, and I helped him into his bed. "I don't want to go to bed." He said stubbornly. "I'm not tired."
"Well? What do you want to do?" I asked. Felix got down from his bed, and sat on the air mattress with me. "Wha-" I was about to say, but he cut me off. He flipped me onto my back, holding my wrists above my head. Felix smiled sheepishly. "I want to have some fun." He pulled my mask off, his lips coming into contact with mine. I was surprised by his actions, yet again. When he was like this, he seemed almost like a different person. I wonder if Felix had ever showed anyone else this side of him before. We gasped for air, but quickly brought our lips together again. My heart was beating so fast...I didn't think I'd ever be loved. I never thought I would ever kiss someone. I never thought I would want to be with someone so badly. We kissed even more, every once in awhile taking a break to get air. Felix smiled, the moan he had been waiting for was finally realized. "Fe-felix...I don't..." Felix cut me off with a kiss. "I can't stop now." Someone knocked on Felix's bedroom door, causing Felix to say. "Ooooooor...maybe I can." We quickly split up, Felix dashed for the door, and I dashed for a nearby book and pretended to read.
"Hey Mom! Vad behöver du?"
"Jag hörde ljud ... Är allt okej?
"Yeah! Allt är bra ... Vi var bara ... spelar ett videospel!"
"Okej ..." And she left.
Felix sighed, sliding down the back of the door. "Sorry I...kinda...I just..." I crawled over towards him, resting my head on his lap. He smiled, and kissed me lightly on the top of my head. "I really love you, Ryan." Tears welled up in my eyes again. He...loves me. I never thought I would be loved like this before... "I love you too, Felix."
