We waited and waited for the girls to come back.
Finally they're back, looking all good.
"Jagi, done? Can you tell me now?" I looked into her brown eyes, they were..somehow different.
"It's actually.. Nothing." She stuttered but then looked up and smiled.
"Yeah, just some girl problems you know. Sometimes we get really emotional" MinYoo said.
What?
"But you didn't look good just now.." I said.
"Trust me, I'm okay, don't worry jagiya." Yeonji said then pinched my cheek.
I don't know but it just doesn't seem right.. But I'll trust her if she says so.
"Let's get ready, classes are gonna start." Zoey said.
"Yeah, we should." I said and we went back to our seats.
- YEONJI'S POV - (flashback)
"I have..brain cancer..stage 2"
"B-b-woh?" I heard Zoey gasped.
"Hah. Hah. This-- is a joke right?" Minyoo faked a laugh.
"RIGHT?!" She covered her face with her hands.
A tear escaped from my eye as I shook my head.
"Aniyo..it's not.."
"No..No!" Zoey screamed.
"And..I'm leaving a month later." I said.
"Bwoh?! Where?" They both asked.
"America, they can help me there."
They looked at each other then looked at me.
"Does the others know?" Minyoo asked.
"No, not yet."
"Yeonji-ah..I--" Zoey stuttered.
I know what's happening, she's breaking down.
"Don't cry.. Hajima." I hugged her.
"Please, stay strong paboyah." She said to me.
"Arasso, I will. Let's not cry, okay?" I let go and smiled at her.
"But I will miss you chingu-ah"
"I will too.."
"Please don't tell the others about this first." I said and they nodded wiping their tears off.
***(Reality)***
I went back to my seat and Taehyung came second.
"Ji.. I know there's something wrong. Tell me."
I looked back at Yoongi to see him looking at me too.
I smiled at him and he returned.
I went back to Tae.
"Tae, can you help me invite the boys out tonight?"
"Waeyo?" He asked me, confused.
"You'll know. Let's meet up at.. Jin's house? Can we?"
"Hyung will let."
"Ah.. Don't.. Don't ask Yoongi out." I said.
"Waeyo?" He widened his eyes
"Hajima, don't ask me, just do."
"Arasso.."
"Gomawo taetae-ah."
He gave me the signature square smile. I wonder how much I'm going to miss that smile..
- At Jin's House -
We had dinner at Jin's.
After dinner we sat in circles in the living room.
"Why Yoongi hyung isn't here today?" Jungkook asked.
"Because I'm not ready to tell him yet Kookie." I said.
"So.. What is it you wanna tell dongsaeng?" Jin asked me.
"It's.. Um.. I'm leaving."
They all asked me why and asked if I'm joking and such.
"I have brain cancer, stage 2. And America is the only place that can help me." I said to them.
"Ji.. What?" Tae widened his eyes and blinked.
"I'm not joking.." I said not letting my tears hold back.
"What about Yoongi hyung? Does he know?" Jimin asked me.
"Not yet.. But I will tell him. If I can.."
Can I?
"Please help me keep this as a secret. I'm leaving next month." I smiled at them.
But they can't seem to smile back.
"How long will you be gone?" Namjoon asked.
"2 years or longer.." I answered.
"Noona.. Please come back to Korea as healthy as before." Jungkook said.
"I will Jungkookie." I went near him and hugged him.
Jhope was all along at the corner not talking.
"Hobi.. Send some of your hopes to me when I'm gone okay?" I joked.
"Yeonji-ah.. I liked you very much." He said.
"I know.. Everyone loves me right?" I joked again.
But no ones seems to give me any attention, they were either looking at their fingers or covering their faces.
"Yah! Right?" I can't help it but cried again.
"Danghyunhaji (of course)" they said.
"Come on.. Group hug." I said in my shaky voice.
They all went up to hug me and I was in the middle.
"I will never forget you guys, no matter what." I smiled.
I will never forget today.
