At first I thought my mind was playing tricks on me but then after a few minutes of deeper concentration I realized it was not. I was in a room filled with werewolves. I was not in any immediate danger still I loathed it and my father knew this so what the hell? what the hell was going on?
He could not tell me he did not know.
If I knew then he knew as well.
As soon as first class ended I went straight to my locker not caring whether I was late for second class. I needed to talk to my dad. His cell phone kept ringing but he didnt pick up. He better be operating on someone or else he was going to get hell from me later.
Why had he forgotten to tell me the most important detail of this towns inhabitants? And he knew that I hated werewolves with a good reason even if I was half werewolf. A fact that had been well hidden.
Yeah, hard to believe but indeed I was half werewolf because my mother was a werewolf. She had been the alpha's daughter and as told my father, she was the most beautiful girl he ever saw. No-one came close to my mother. Her smile he said, had always had the power to make him feel powerful. It was still amusing to my father that I had become what I was because it was known that once a werewolf and human mated they tended to produce humans.
There were times when he wished that my mother was still alive so he could ask her all these questions bur it was not possible. My mother had been killed after she so many times refused to go back and live with her pack and as the last strike they decided to kill her and let my father be tortured for the rest of my life as he would live without her.
It had been difficult for him at first but he managed to live for me and for the legacy to continue. Well Ill tell you about the legacy some other time.
I sighed and went to class.
Time did not moveI felt like centuries had passed and finally it was lunch time. The cafeteria was big unlike the one in my old school and as soon as I stepped inside I felt someone staring at me. I searched the place and saw that guy who had been watching me earlier as I verbally fought with that girl in the morning.
He smiled still looking at me.
I sighed and went to get food and as I walked to an empty table someone stepped in front of me.
Oh hell it was Britneythe same girl who I had argued with in the morning. What the hell did she want? Usually I welcomed trouble because it always was an adventure but right now I was not in the mood to accommodate anyone especially her.
Look who the devil brought in here. She smirked.
Listen I dont want to fight with you right now, so get out of my way please. I said in almost a whisper but I knew she was a werewolf hence she would still hear me.

I rolled my eyes and tried to side pass her but she moved and blocked my way again. Right before I was about to pour my drink on her just to rile her the guy who had been looking at me came over and put his arms around her. Come on babe lets go

He smiled and whispered to her thinking I couldnt hear. Little did he know. Babes, shes just some stupid human. Let her be.

If I were you I would listen to him. I said and that got her mad to the point I saw her shake. Was she really going to shift in front of me and humans? Nate boy whispered for her to be calm and it took a second as she truly become calm. Were they mates or something?
I laughed and turned around to go outside. Maybe there would be some peace and love out there.
That was really cool of you a girl who I remembered from some class said as she followed me outside the cafeteria.
I raised a brow and she explained herself. What you did to her. You know in the morning and now. Shes really a bitch. I tried to sense if she was one of them that I hated but realized she was human and obviously a Goth by the way she dressed.

Cool. In my old school all my friends were human and they had been great but that was different. Back then everyone in the area was human unlike here were some other species existed but I had feeling that Toni would make a great friend. Maybe you could show me around town? I asked.

I nodded finishing my lunch. We spent few minutes talking before the bell rang and we headed for our different classes. She was the happiest Goth Ive ever seen I thought to myself as I headed to class which looked like I would be bored to death.
I didnt expect to see her again until tomorrow since we couldnt go sight seeing today but amazingly I met her at detention. When I was about to ask what she was in for, she just smiled and said. Dont ask. Teachers in this school are really bitter.
I totally agreed with her when I thought why I was here in the first place. Detention turned out to be pleasant enough as the teacher overseeing us got bored and left after sending us warning and glares that we shouldnt talk but then me being the rule breaker well I just couldnt resist to talk to Toni and we did until it was over.
On my way home drove to the supermarket where I got ice-cream and headed home to confront my dad. The house felt empty as I walked inside but I could feel my dad in his office. I went straight in without bothering to knock.
One look at me and he said. Im guessing you have loads of question to ask me.

The next day at school was pretty much the same like my first day only that I was not late for any class. I did not see Britney anywhere which was a good song because I sure was not in a mood to get into a fight.
During the fifteen minutes break I opened my locker to put my stuff in when Toni nearly scarred me for life with her outfit.
I shook my head and stared at her again.
I thought she was Goth? Not only was she dressed in some pretty preppy clothes but she defiantly looked hot. I thought you were Goth? No offence.
She smiled. Im Goth every Monday. Other days Im just a normal girl. Talk about crazy friends and ones that I really liked. About-
She was rudely interrupted by someone behind me. I want to talk to you. He said pointing towards me.

Listen Im just warning you. Stay away from Britney shes not a great person to be enemies with okay? he said sounding very serious. I could sense his authority and maybe he was alpha of this pack or alpha to be? But he was definitely a werewolf. Are we clear? he questioned suddenly sounding rude again.

She gasped as did so many who were watching in the cafeteria. I laughed and pulled a stunned Toni and we headed towards the doors to go outside. I kept hearing her sigh and whispering omg like a song. I officially like you. She finally whispered as she laughed.
I officially liked you yesterday when we met. I told she and she seemed even merrier and her eyes shone with some feeling I couldnt read into. As I turned around to tell her to quit laughing I felt my body bump into something hard but it was definitely not a wall.
That something I hit also steadied me as I was about to fall.
You alright? Toni asked me.
Yeah I replied and turned to face whoever had saved me from falling and making me look like a klutz in front of the whole school. I have to admit this was not a moment that I would be forgetting any time soon.
As soon as I looked at him, my eyes locked with his grey ones and if Toni hadnt called me I would have been content to remain their and stare at his eyes forever. I could also sense an authority written all over him and felt his power.
For a second he seemed confused but then he.
He smiled.
My heart jumped and increased its speed. I realized his hands were still on me and I felt unfamiliar tingly feeling running through my arms and spreading to the rest of my body. It was that new feeling that made me jump back into my brain and away from him.
He chuckled but did not move hence blocking the way out. Youre blocking our path. I said, finally.
What? he asked pretending to not have heard what I said but I knew better.
