Kari's POV:
I groan softly as I begin to wake up. I have the sudden urge to pee just like I do every morning. I lift my body to allow myself to get up to go to the bathroom but before I can get all the way up an arm grabs me and pulls me back down onto the bed and cuddles me closer to a hard chest. I grunt and turn over to look at Bryce.
He's sound asleep! How did he know I was getting up then? I frown. I really need to pee... I poke him a couple of times but he doesn't budge. Come on he's like a hibernating bear for crying out loud! I try shaking him a couple of times but nothing works. Suddenly an idea sparks in my head. I grin evilly and decide it would be a great idea to tickle him awake. I tickle his sides. Nothing happens. I frown and try it again. A slow smile creeps onto his face and he opens one of his eyes.
"You realize I'm not ticklish right?" I stop tickling him and frown. There's no way a person can not be ticklish. I try tickling him again. He raises and eyebrow. I sigh after a few minutes.
"That's so not fair." I complain. "How can you not be ticklish! It just doesn't happen, it's physically impossible." He laughs at me. I stick my tongue out at him. "Now can you please release me so I can pee!" I say quickly. He dies laughing and lifts his arm so I can go. I sprint to the bathroom and pee. When I'm done I decide to brush my teeth and wash my face. Walking out of the bathroom I see that Bryce isn't in the bed anymore. I frown and look around the room, but I can't find him anywhere. So I walk up to his bed and sit down.
A few seconds later Bryce comes in with my suitcase. "As much as love you in my clothes, you're going to need your own so here." He places the bag near the closet. "Feel free to move my stuff around when you feel like unpacking, but you should get dressed, we need to go greet the whole pack and introduce ourselves again." He says to me. I look at him curiously.
"Why do we need to do that?" I ask him. He lets at a small chuckle then comes to stand near me.
"I'm the new Alpha and well you're going to be the new Luna as soon as we get around to mating." Wait what? I look at him in shock, then it hits me. The surge of power I felt, it's because Bryce beat Trent so that means Bryce is the new Alpha. My wolf smirks in pride at the ranking of her mate. I stand up and give Bryce a peck on the lips.
"I guess I like the sound of that." I smirk and walk toward my suit case. I open it up and grab a dress from the top and a bra and underwear. I go into the bathroom and change into my new outfit. I take out my curling iron and do my hair so that I have nice waves tumbling down my back. I put on a little mascara to allow my violet eyes to pop and then I'm all done. I smile at myself in the mirror. Okay, I can totally meet the whole pack now.
When I walk out of the bathroom I see Bryce putting on his shoes. He's partially dress up in a nice white button down shirt with kaki shorts. Let me tell you, as much as I love me wearing his button downs, he looks so much better in them. When he sees me checking him out I blush slightly. "Like what you see?" He asks.
I smirk and shrug my shoulders. "Eh, could be better." I say and turn around. He growls and the next thing I know I'm up against the wall and Bryce is standing over me with a raised eyebrow.
He bends his head down and gently kisses up my neck. I moan from the amazing sensation running through my body. When he gets up to my ear he gently nibbles on it. I close my eyes and bite my lip. I feel him pull away and I whimper. "Do you really mean that?" He whispers in my ear.
I push his body slightly off mine so I can gaze into his eyes. I smile at him and say, "No, you're perfect." He smirks, leans down and gently touches his lips to mine. Tingles and sparks fly through my whole body as the best feeling washes through me. I kiss him back eagerly, wanting more of this amazing sensation. I feel him move his hands onto my hips and he slowly moves them down. I lightly moan from the sensation he is creating, he smiles against my lips and deepens the kiss. I grow hungry for more of him so I lick his bottom lip, asking for entrance. He keeps his mouth closed and I whimper in disappointment.
His hands move down to my butt and he lightly squeezes. I gasp from the suddenness and he takes the chance to slip his tongue in. What a cheater! I forget about it right away though, because the feeling he's creating is so nice that I don't care anymore.
Bryce lifts me up without breaking the kiss so that my legs are straddling his torso. I steady myself by placing my hands on his large shoulders. Taking advantage of the fact that I'm now slightly above him I take control of the kiss and begin to explore his mouth. Before I get too far into my exploration Bryce breaks the kiss and tosses me onto the bed. I land with a light thud and look at him. He is smirking, typical Bryce. Slowly he walks over to me and hovers over me on the bed.
He bends his head down and gently kisses my lips, he then moves to my cheek and slowly makes a line down to my neck. When he gets there he gently slides his tongue over the sensitive spot on my neck. I close my eyes and moan from the pleasure. I feel him move up to my ear.
"I love being able to be with you, Kari." He whisper to me. I shiver in excitement and bring my mouth to his ear.
"Me too." I whisper back. He growls slightly and crashes his lips to mine hungrily. I kiss him back with just as much force. Bryce moves his hands down to my dress. He lifts me up slightly so he can get to the zipper. He slowly undoes the thin material and begins to take it off of me. My heart rate quickens, good thing I grabbed a cute pair of matching underwear. He breaks the kiss and soon my dress is off and I'm lying in front of him in my bra and panties. I blush slightly from embarrassment, but hide it by kissing him again so he can't see.
"Kari! Bryce! You better get your asses out here and explain some shit to me!" An angry voice yells from outside the door. I freeze. Shit. Bryce growls and pulls away from me glancing at the door. "Let me in you baboons!" By now I realized it is Mimi's voice. I groan and suddenly remember that I'm practically naked, oh crap! I look around for my dress but I don't see it, so I grab Bryce's shirt. Bryce looks and me for a moment with sadness in his eyes that I'm dressing. I laugh at him.
"Go get the door before she breaks it down." I say through my laughing fit. He sighs and heads to the door.
"I swear to god if you don't open this door soon I'm going to-" the door flies open to reveal and angry Mimi. "Finally." She states and looks up frowning at Bryce then looks behind him and at me. "You missy have a lot of explaining to do!" I sigh.
"I know... I'm sorry, there so much I should probably tell you before the rest of the pack finds out." I look at Bryce. "Do you mind if I take a few minutes to talk to Mimi?" I ask him politely. He smiles and walks up to me kissing me on the forehead.
"Anything for you shorty." He says and heads to the door. He closes it behind him with a gently thud. I glance at the angry monster in front of me.
"Care to tell me why the poo you are in Bryce's room? And in his shirt?" She practically screams at me. I let out a sigh. This is going to get complicated.
"Okay well first off... Trent isn't my mate." Her jaw drops. Right before she speaks I hold my hands up to stop her. "Let me finish, Trent tricked me into believing he was my mate when in reality it was really Bryce the whole time." She puts on a confused face.
"So what you're saying is that Trent tricked everyone into believing you were his mate, but why?" She asks me quietly. I think about how I should put it, I decide on just going for the simple explanation and drop the specifics.
"Basically Trent wanted to save his mom, and he thought that I would be able to do it." She thinks about it for a moment.
"Why would you be able to save his mom?" She asks me. Oh crap... I don't really want anyone to know about my special powers just yet...
"Uh.." Suddenly the door opens and Evie comes running into the room and flies into my arms. I laugh at her and she glances up at me.
"Sis, Brycey wants everyone down into the pack meeting room!" I nod and look up at Mimi.
"We should get going then." I stand and walk to the door, suddenly Mimi starts dying laughing. I turn around and look at her strangely. "What?"
"Your going to go in front of the whole pack looking like that? Great first impression Kari." She laughs. I blush and realize I'm still wearing Bryce's shirt. I run to the side of the bed and find my dress. Taking off his shirt I throw my dress over my head and run my hand through my hair a couple of times.
"Better?" I ask her. She giggles and nods. I walk over to them and we head down to the pack meeting room.
We reach the two wooden doors and Evie looks at me. I know she can tell I'm nervous because she grabs my hand and squeezes it lightly to soothe my nervous state. I take a deep breath and reach to open the door.
