*flashback*
"Scott, come on. Just do it." I laugh.
He flinches as he turns on the razor but then turns it back off again.
"I can't!" He yells squeamishly.
I huff and pull the razor out of his hand.
"Fine, I'll do it!" I moan as I turn on the razor, watching as it roars to life.
"Oh my God, dude." Scott's face is now in somewhat of a disfigurement, acquiring several chins and scrunched up eyes.
Almost gagging as I hold the buzzing razor nearer to my head, Scott knocks it out of my hand.
"What is it now?!" I complain, turning around to look at him.
"Nuh-uh. Nope. Oh God. No. Dude!" He exclaims, his face looking as if he just caught a bad smell.
I roll my eyes massively.
"Oh my God! Stop being such a drama queen, Scott." I scowl.
"Fine, okay, dude, I'm gonna do it." He says, his face flinching as he picks up the razor from the floor.
"Holy shit... I'm doing it..." Squeals Scott.
He brings it to the front of my head and I breathe in.
"Oh God..." Scott complains as he drags the razor down the middle of my head. I exhale.
"Crap! Dude!" Scott shouts and looks at me for help. I shrug and start laughing.
"Keep going!" I prompt him.
I watch as my brown hair falls around my shoulders- to Scott's dismay- in clumps floating to the ground.
"I want a go now." I yap, signalling for Scott to hand me the razor, which he does.
"Yo..." I begin as I start shaving my hair off. I laugh as it's actually a lot of fun. Scott laughs too.
"Dude, what if i have a weird shaped head or something?" I ask anxiously. Scott chuckles.
"Don't worry, man, it's fine." Scott assures me, placing a hand on my shoulder. I shut my eyes as I swipe the razor back and forth across my scalp.
"Is it all off?" I ask Scott after numerous slides of the razor, who then proceeds to do a full 360° around me, checking.
"Yep..." He says, grabbing the razor and sshaving off a stray hair. "I think it's done." He says.
"Okay..." I begin as I stand up and approach my mirror, holding my breath. The second I see my appearance I burst out in a fit of laughter.
"Dude! I look so badass! Seriously!" I exclaim, making Scott nod and laugh.
I smile at the distant memory of Scott and I. It feels like a whole lifetime ago we shaved my head. I look up and notice Derek suddenly sat on my window sill, which makes my heart nearly explode.
"Jeez, dude, what are you doing?!" I shout, clutching my chest. "You scared the life outta me man!" I laugh, then shuffle across my bed leaving a space for Derek to sit down.
"I can't. I have a pack meeting in..." He lifts up his wrist and checks his watch, "ten minutes ago." He finishes, looking up and smiling cheekily at me. I half heartedly smirk back. "I just came to see how you were." He smiles, nodding at me.
"Well, I'm good. So, uh, enjoy your pack meeting." I say, nodding a goodbye. Derek seems a little take aback by my blunt response, but doesn't question it, and simply jumps down from my window, landing with a thud as he hits the grass outside.
I roll onto my back and stare at the white ceiling. Why don't I even get invited to pack meetings anymore? I could've easily gone, it's not like I'm incapable.
I wander what they're all talking about right now anyway; Lydia, Malia, Isaac, Derek, Scott, Liam, Peter, Kira. As far as I know, no supernatural problems have even occurred recently. Since I got sick for that matter. Probably something to do with the balance of good and bad Scott and Deaton always talk about...
Now not only Scott is being distant, the whole pack are.
