(I have no idea where I was going with this. It's kinda stupid and really weird so sorry if you don't understand what I'm writing..)
It's just a normal, sunny day in New York at the tower when the sound of a sonic boom goes off that rattles the city.
"What was that?" Pietro zips over to the window, and you're quick to follow. And that's when you see it. A red streak racing towards the Tower at speeds only Pietro could reach. "How is this-"
Then the red streak reaches the building, disappearing as it goes through the doors.
Instantly, red lights flash and alarms go off in the tower.
"We need to get to our-" You turn and the words get caught in your throat.
There stands a man, clad in red with a yellow lightning bolt on his chest, breathing heavily. "I need your help."
Just then, Steve runs into the room and flings his shield at the intruder. And just like Pietro, he flashes across the room out of the way of the shield. But now it's path is headed straight for you and you almost would've been decapitated if Pietro wouldn't have pulled you into his arms.
"Steve!" Pietro snarls, glaring fiercely at the said man and then at the intruder. "Who are you?"
"The Flash," He says calmly. "And I've somehow entered another dimension when I went at top speed and-" he keeps speaking, but his words blend together and the only person who seems to be following along is Pietro.
Steve holds up a commanding hand. "Excuse me, Flash, was it?" He pauses and nods. "If what all you're saying is true, you're going to need to talk to Tony."
"Talk to me about what?" Tony walks into the room, hands rubbing at his ears. "Man, I really need to get a different alarm. Almost blew my brains out when they went off with my head two inches from the speakers. But anyways, who's the cosplayer?"
The Flash snorts. "Is this the Tony you were talking about?"
At this, Tony raises an eyebrow. "And just who might you be?"
"The Flash," You say quietly, and Tony barks out a laugh.
"Like the comic book character, The Flash?"
A spark of recognition brightens The Flashes eyes as they bounce from Pietro, to you, to Steve, and to Tony.
"You're The Avengers. No way," The Flash breathes, chuckling shortly. "So, what, comic book characters are actually real in a different dimension? This is-" and you loose him. His speedster rambling goes on for a few seconds before Tony waves his hands.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Speedy, hold on-"
The Flash widens his eyes. "You know Speedy? Is he here now?"
"..you mean Green Arrows protege?" You ask, and he turns to you quickly.
"Yes! Is it possible for me to- oh, wait." The Flash frowns. "You're referring to the comics, right?"
You nod. "DC comics."
"I do not understand," Pietro butts in, pointing the The Flash. "You are comic book character, who has the same powers as I, correct? Then how are you alive, if I may ask? You do not look like a comic character to me."
"Barry," You say, and The Flash chokes. "You're name is Barry Al-" he appears in front of you and shakes his head furiously.
"Don't say it-!"
"Barry Allen," Tony chimes in, tablet in hand and a smirk on his face. "Married to-"
"Shh!" Barry hisses, looking around frantically. "Don't tell me anything I don't know. It could ruin my life in the other dimension!"
"So, what, you come from the future or something?" Steve leans against the wall, arms crossed.
Barry shakes his head. "No. We're on the same year and time schedule, just different-"
"Wait," Tony beams. "Does that mean you know Batman?"
Barry turns. "Bats? Course I do. Oh, and does that mean you know Captain America?" He questions excitedly.
Steve sighs. "My shield with the star on it didn't give it away?"
"What? You're him? I thought you'd be.. bigger."
"Why you little.."
"Cap here is just grouchy," Tony adds. "For being a 90 year old man, you know. And do you know who I might be?"
Barry smirks. "Tony Stark, known as Iron Man. And you, Pietro Maximoff, alias Quicksilver." His eyes land on you and he whistles. "And you're (Y/n) (L/n), better known as (superhero name). Could I have your autograph-?"
Then suddenly, a bright light appears next to Barry and a hand shoots out from it.
"Barry! Hold on!"
"Oh my God, is that Hawk Women?" Tony drops the tablet and bounces lightly on his toes.
"Shayera?" Barry shouts at the light, sliding towards it as the hand pulls him closer.
"It's me, Barry! I'll pull you through, just don't let go!"
"It was very nice to meet you!" Barry calls out before being sucked through the portal and the light disappearing into thin air.
"What just happened?" Pietro asks after a solid few minutes of silence, and Tony continues to blink at at where Barry had disappeared while answering.
"The great gods of Comic books has answered my prayers."
