I could have sworn school passed slower than usual for this week. Every single day just dragged to the point of me almost committing suicide by Wednesday.

Thankfully, it was the end of the day on Friday and I only had one more lesson left.

After the whole Connor incident, Jeremy and I had to explain everything that had happened. Also Elena lost the plot after the hunters curse took affect.

Klaus then decided that this was the perfect time to make his return and capture Elena before she killed herself or anyone around her.

He then also lovingly offered up on me of his hybrids for either Jeremy or me to kill.

Jeremy of course, stood up and killed him so he has his hunters mark growing.

Me on the other hand, had to stay away from killing any vampires whatsoever.

Everyone said it was hard enough with just Jeremy wanting to kill them, with me on top they wouldn't be able to cope.

So, I was on guard duty practically 24/7 but none other than a vampire. Clever right?

Stefan said he would keep an eye on me in school since most of our classes were the same but at home I had the pleasure of Damon looking after me.

Hurray.

We were filing into our next class which was History with the new teacher Mr. Rainer.

We'd had like three since Ric died so our grades were probably going to be terrible with all the changes. Mr Rainer seemed cool but he was strict when it came to misbehaving.

Throughout the whole lesson, he was talking about one of the many school dances that were coming up. I didn't catch what it was about but he just seemed to be nattering on about it.

A vibration from my pocket snapped me out of my gaze and I secretly pulled my phone out of my pocket to open the text that I had just received.

I narrowed my eyes as Jeremy's name popped up on my screen. I had only seen him literally ten minutes ago.

Meet me outside in the stoners pit in 5 minutes, make sure no one follows you.

What the hell kind of message was that? Nevertheless, if Jeremy wanted to see me then it must've been important.

Waiting until Mr Rainer finished his sentence, my hand shot up and grabbed his attention.

"Yes, Harri?"

"Can I uh, go to the bathroom please?" I asked.

"5 minutes Harri." was all he said as he nodded his head towards the door.

Huh, he never usually lets people out. I guess he didn't care when it came to me since I barely bother him in class whereas everyone else made it pretty hard for him when he started.

I left my bag on my chair and kept my phone in my hand out of sight before leaving the room. When I was out of the room and down the hallway, I checked to see if anyone was watching before texting Jeremy that I was on the way.

It only took me like two minutes to get to Jeremy since I had to hide for a moment when I saw my English teacher roaming the hallways.

When I got to the pit, I noticed Jeremy straight away by himself, leaning against the wall.

He looked different though. His once smaller frame was the complete opposite with more muscle bulging out of his t-shirt.

"What's up Jer?" I question as he turns to face me.

He looked troubled, but there was a different glint in his eye. His once warming brown eyes were sharp, almost worrying.

"I need you to come with me." He said bluntly, moving so he was next to me and taking my hand.

"Wait Jer what the hell?"

He didn't even reply as he began to pull me to the parking lot and to Elena's car.

How did he get the keys to Elena's car?

"Jer what the hell?" I repeated again only this time my voice was worried and kind of shaky.

Yet again, I was ignored and pushed into the passenger seat of Elena's 4x4.

I wasn't even going to argue. He was two times as strong as me and right now I didn't even know what was going through Jeremy's mind.

Jeremy joined me in the front of the car, starting the car quickly and pulling out of the parking space, speeding out the school lot and racing down the road.

It's like he was driven by something. Not the car obviously. Stupid pun.

The drive was quick and we eventually arrived outside the woods.

Jeremy killed the engine and left the car, making his way to my side of the car and pulling the door open.

"Get out Harri."

I stayed put "Not until you tell me what's going on."

It seemed he didn't have time for my questions as he shook his head and pulled me out the car, chucking me over his shoulder.

"Jeremy!" I shouted hitting at his hard back as he closed the car door with his foot and carried me easily through the woods.

I think this went on for about ten minutes before I eventually gave up hitting him and more energy into thinking about what the hell he was doing.

And where the hell were we?

He had just taken a stroll through the woods with me, slung over his shoulder.

Suddenly however, he dropped my down to my feet which I wasn't expecting so I fell straight onto my butt.

"Ow." I muttered, rubbing the bottom of my back "A little warning next time."

"Follow me. Don't think about running away because I'll catch you." He said, walking past me and down some dirty, hidden away steps that I didn't notice.

I wasn't even going to bother with fighting with him. Following him down the steps, I couldn't help but feel that I'd been here before.

Not recently, but a long time ago...

Pushing the thought to the back of my mind, I followed Jeremy to the bottom of the stairs and through a door where there was barely any light to see.

"Jeremy please, just tell me whats going on?" I asked for what seemed like the millionth time. And for the millionth time he ignored me.

He lead me through an iron gate and into a room where two small electric lanterns were placed on the floor to provide a tiny piece of light.

Enough light to show what Jeremy wanted me to see.

A man, chained up against the wall with his head hanging low. What made me extremely worried was the amount of blood that was on the floor around him.

"Jer, who is he?"

"He is a vampire. And you're gonna kill him." Jeremy declared, reaching into a bag and pulling out a wooden stake.

I shook my head and stepped away "We agreed only you can trigger your hunters mark. They can't deal with two of us on the rampage!"

"They outnumber us Harri! How long until your brother gets turned? Or you? It already happened to Vicki and she died." He shouted and I couldn't help but flinch at his words "We need to defend ourselves."

"No." I cried, becoming more and more scared as he took steps towards me "I can't do it... I can't kill him."

"It's easy." He thrust the stake into my hand and grabbed my body, pushing me closer to the man with him close behind me "I'll hold him back and you stake him."

"No Jer!"

"Yes Harri!"

He left from behind me and went over to the man, loosening the chains on his arm which caused him to wake up, lashing forward as Jeremy held the chains back so he couldn't reach me.

"Do it Harri or I'll let go of the chains!" Jeremy shouted, his voice with now emotion or remorse as he managed to hold the vicious vampire back.

He kept on surging forwards, his fangs popped out and his eyes blood red.

I was frozen on the spot. The stake was still in my hand as it trembled. I couldn't do it, everyone would find it too hard to cope with both of us.

It seemed Jeremy didn't like how long I was taking to think as he dropped the chains and the man jumped on me, causing me to scream out as I hit the ground hard with him on top of me.

His head dived straight in for my neck which he then promptly ripped open, causing me to scream even more.

Then it clicked in my brain. My arm seemed to move of its over accord as I plunged the stake into his back.

It seems I hit the right spot as the fangs left my neck and he coughed slightly, a strangling noise emitting from his mouth as I pushed him off me.

Oh god... I just killed a vampire...

Then the pain which had subsided for a few moments came raging back and I couldn't help but feel dizzy for the blood loss.

"You did it! Klaus!"

My eyes narrowed and my vision blurred. Klaus? What the hell was Klaus doing here?

In my bad sight, a figure moved around me and pulled me up so I sitting against someone.

The next thing I knew there was a crunching sound and something wet being pushed against my mouth.

It took me a while to fully come around but when I finally saw what was going on, I hated it. Glancing down to my hand, I saw the hunters mark grow. Crap.

Jeremy, standing with a victory look on his face whilst his eyes were also guarded. On the other side of him was Klaus, a smirk on his lips as he stared down at me.

Then I looked beside me, seeing the dead vampire on the floor made my blood boil. Also seeing Klaus made me see red and I didn't know why.

I didn't even want to stay in the same room as the two men. I picked myself up, dusted myself off and made my way out of the dark and wet cellar.

I also realised where we were. The Lockwood cellar, where Tyler use to come and turn every full moon.

The thing is, I had no idea which way civilisation was. Pulling my phone out my pocket, I unfortunately had no signal which caused me to groan.

It felt like I had been walking forever until I managed to get three bars of signal and could finally call someone.

Of course, I went to call Stefan but haltered when I saw his name in my contacts.

I didn't know what it was but I just couldn't press the button. Like, my best friends name was just a contact.

What made it worse was the rage that bubbling inside me ever since I killed the vampire.

The only person I knew I could call without feeling a fit of rage was my brother.

He was so going to freak out...

"Matt?"

"Harri? Aren't you in class right now?" Came his confused reply as I stumbled through the woods, attempting to find some sign of people.

"Yea, about that, Jeremy kidnapped me and made me kill a vampire so now I'm all vampire hating and need a lift since I have no idea where I am."

"He what!?" Matt screeched down the phone which caused me to wince.

"No time for questions Matt, I need to get out of these woods. I was in the old Lockwood cellar." I explained and I could hear shouting from the other end of the phone "Matt?"

"Bonnie's on her way, it seems I can't get out of lesson." He grumbled angrily and I laughed a little.

"It's ok Matty, I'll message you when she finds me." I quickly ended the call and carried on in the same direction I had been heading in for a while.

I hoped Bonnie found me soon, I just wanted out of these woods, out of these disgusting blood stained clothes and home.

Ah. Crap.

Home is where the Salvatore's are. Who are vampires. And again, the same bubbling rage began to fill my head.

I didn't even know what it was and I hated it, but it made me hate them more.

Trying all the way I could, I attempted to shake the horrible feeling out my head through kicking stuff and shouting.

What caught me by surprise though was when I went to kick a large log that was just abandoned on the forest floor, it rolled pretty far.

I was never that strong before. Looking down to my hands, they felt unnaturally powerful.

I couldn't describe the power that I could feel but it made me want to get rid of it.

All of this was just horrible. I didn't want this and Jeremy just threw it on me.

All my confused emotions caused a tear to form in my eye but I blinked it away and carried on walking.

"Harri."

I spun around at the voice, my eyes widening and worry filling my brain before it all went back to that feeling. That horrible feeling of hate.

"Damon you can't be around me anymore." I threatened, taking steps back as he took steps forward.

"Yea I know, I heard about Jeremy's little plan." He commented with distaste in his voice "But I'm not going to stop. Like with Jeremy, we need to find your emotional trigger that stops you from becoming Buffy 2.0."

I laughed and shook my head. In my mind that was running on adrenaline right now, all I could think.... Was that he could've been my emotional trigger.

But it's a little bit hard when all I want to do it shove a stake into his heart.

I held  my hands out in a stop way "Don't come any closer. All I can think about is driving a stake through your heart."

He smirked at my comment and still stepped closer. So I kept backing up. Eventually we were both walking enough for me to hit into a tree that slammed into my back. So I was stuck.

Damon stayed his distance then, stopped a few feet away from me as my eyes darted around for an escape.

"Come on Harri, we both know that you won't be able to hurt me." He said in a matter-of-fact way which caused me to shake my head.

"No Damon. I may not be able too but it won't stop me trying." I glared, my eyes dropping to the forest floor and noticing a large stick.

Bending over, I picked it up and looked back to Damon who looked curious and not the slightest bit scared.

"You won't win Harri." He said in the same tone as before, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Come and find out then."

Damon easily accepted my challenge, underestimating me which only caused me to see red even more.

When he was standing directly in front of me, I went to swing my arm, to plant the stick deep into his chest but I stopped when he reached his hand out and brushed my cheek with his fingertips.

"What are you doing?" My vision becoming clearer as to what Damon was doing.

"You won't hurt me Harri," He sighed, looking deep into my eyes which almost mesmerised me "You like me too much to kill me."

That did it, I dropped the stick and crossed my arms "Oh yea? And what makes you think I like you? You're so quick to assume these stupid things when all you do is irritate the hell out of me."

Damon's smirk grew bigger as I continued my rant "I mean, you assume all I do is fawn over you like some love-sick teenager well guess what buddy, the sailed away long ago."

It was by then that I was confused as to why Damon was smiling so much "What?"

"You know you're back to normal? You dropped the stick. Your eyes are the same beautiful green and not the dark that they change to when you lose control."

My mouth was opening and closing like a goldfish. I didn't even realise that the urge to kill him had gone...

He had distracted me by saying a few simple words and that was it, I was back to normal.

He was my emotional trigger.

All these thoughts racing through my mind and I didn't even realise the closeness between us, his hand was still on my cheek which suddenly moved to under my chin so he could push up my face and direct my eyes up to him.

"I-I-"

"Don't speak." He whispered, his mouth so close to mine I could feel his breath on my lips.

A feeling I couldn't even describe began to build up inside me. It wasn't the bad feeling of wanting to kill... It was a good feeling- no - it was an amazing feeling.

I bit my lip a tiny bit as he kept on edging closer and closer. I just couldn't resist it.

Pushing up, I closed the space between us and locked my lips with his.

Thats what did it, thats what caused the feeling inside of me to explode.

I couldn't help myself but to push more into the kiss, my hands moving from my sides and wrapping around his neck.

He had brought his hands so the one that was on my chin had moved to around my neck and the other around my waist, his fingertips digging in slightly.

I bit down on his bottom lips slightly, liking the response I got has he moaned a little. Ha, I got him to moan.

It seemed he wanted to retaliate as the next thing I knew, His mouth was off mine and places rough kisses down my neck. The side that had still had blood on it from the vampire.

I could but let a little noise escape my lips as he continued pretty much all the way down my neck and back up to my lips.

I couldn't even describe the feelings that were inside me. There was much emotion and passion in this one kiss that it practically overwhelmed me.

My heart beat was erratic as we finally stopped, Damon placing one last small his onto my lips as he pulled away.

We were both a bit breathless as we simply stared at each other.

And then I started to fall for Damon Salvatore even more...

Howdy, finally a DamonxHarri moment which was very needed.

Also just a quick thing, these next 4 days I won't be able to do any writing whatsoever so the next update may take over a week. Sorry about that.

But yea, please leave a comment and so on, it really helps.

Bye
