CHAPTER 16
NAGMAMADALING bumangon si Kenzo mula sa kama saka dumiretso sa lavatory ng bathroom upang mag-toothbrush. It was his first time to have a complete bed rest. Kahit di niya natapos ang dapat sana'y tapusin. He washed his face with a facial foam, exclusively for man.
He comes out of the bathroom with a light towel wiping his face. He went to the dresser, seeing his reflection through the mirror. Inaayos niya ang kanyang buhok gamit ang mga daliri niya nang biglang bumukas ang pinto at iniluwa no'n si Erine.
"Good morning to the most handsome man named Kennedy Lorrenzo Villahermosa!" masayang bati ni Erine sa binatang di nakaimik nang tumingin sa kanya. God, she's just so beautiful today. Pagkatapos no'n ay biglang lumapit ang dalaga sa kanya. Giving him a big hug!

"I told you, I prepared breakfast." Sabi ni Erine. "Let's take a shower, first." Saka siya nito tinitigan nang mapanuksong tingin.
"Good idea." Tugon ni Kenzo na mukhang nagbabalak na naman. "Erine.."
"Yes?"
"Bakit wala ka ng period?" tanong ni Kenzo.
"Baka irregular menstruation lang ako, ngayon." Sabi ni Erine. "Pwede ba tayong dumaan sa Obygyne?" Kinabahang bigla ang binata dahil sa sinabi ng dalaga.
"What are we gonna do, there?"
"Kapag irregular ang flow ng menstruation ko, I usually see an Obygyne." Tugon ng dalaga. "Bakit, ayaw mo ba?" she adds.
"Do you really need that?" tanong ni Kenzo sa dalaga.
"I must." She answers.
"Let's have a breakfast, first." Tugon ni Kenzo. "After shower."
Breakfast or el desayuno is the smallest meal of the day. It is usually café con leche, a large cup containing a small amount of very strong espresso coffee with a lot of very hot, frothy milk and a sweet roll or magdalenas, lemon-flavored cupcakes or sugary churros. "Salamat ho, Manang." Sabi ni Erine. "Take this again, na-memorized ko na ang number. Sunugin niyo ho 'yan." Tumango naman ang katulong at agad na rin itong umalis. Dalawang kasambahay ang nagligpit ng mga pinagkainan. Hindi naman alam ng dalaga kung kailangan na ba niyang lapitan si Kenzo sa kwarto o dito na muna siya sa baba. Later, she decided to stay. "Kundi lang kita mahal, Kenzo Villahermosa. Walang epekto 'yang mga banat mo." Aniya nang tanggapin ang rosas na 'yon.
"Take me back in your arms, hold me close tightly. Feel my heavy breath, as I tender my apology. Look into my eyes as I say sorry. Give me a hug, give me a kiss. Let's again embrace." Masuyong wika ni Kenzo saka siya nito niyakap nang mahigpit.
