Hey guys!

I just wanted to let you all know that I MIGHT not be able to update this Saturday, as I usually do.

My updating schedule is Tuesdays and Saturdays, and I may not be able to update this Saturday, because I'm actually going away to Toronto on Friday and seeing Taylor Swift on Saturday night! :) (I'M SO EXCITED I CAN'T EVEN BREATHE. AHHHHHHHH).

Anyways, I'm going to try my best to update on Saturday, I'm just not certain I will have access to Wi-Fi, and that sort of thing.

If I'm unable to update Saturday, don't worry! I will update again as usual the following Tuesday.

Thanks, and enjoy Chapter 16 :)

-Becca xoxo

{Abigail}

I roll over, and crack open my eyes slightly.

Sunlight streams through the window, and I shut my eyes again, as the sudden flow of light hurts to look at.

I groan softly, forcefully looking at the clock on the night table.

11:30 AM.

Damn, I've slept in.

I roll onto my side, blinking a few times to clear my vision.

Patrick's side of the bed is empty.

Of course.

He's probably already up, showered, and dressed.

He's always been more of a morning person than I am.

I pull the sheet tighter around my bare body, as the memories of last night come flashing back to me.

Fast hands, deep kisses, Patrick's gentle touch, his tongue caressing my stomach, his hands stroking my inner thigh until his fingers found the spot between my legs, and then finally, the part when Patrick and I moved together as one.

It was a good night.

Sex with Patrick is one of the most enjoyable things I will ever do.

He's so good at it.

Honestly, I used to suck in bed, until I met him.

He's taught me all of his tricks.

I shake my head, laughing and rolling my eyes at this thought.

We couldn't resist each other after last night's talk on the beach.

That talk had me feeling some type of way...

I can't even put it into words.

It was beautiful.

It's Tuesday, July 12, and it looks like a gorgeous day outside.

I lie around in bed for another half hour or so, until I force myself to get up.

Naked, I get up out of bed, and hobble my way over to the shower.

I am sore from last night.

Usually, it's not this bad, but God, did Patrick ever work me hard.

This is the way it should be.

I roll my eyes playfully, as I turn on the hot water in the shower.

I glance in the mirror, and notice that dark bruises line my collarbone, all the way across.

I run my fingers over the dark bruises, smiling to myself.

Hickeys are beautiful.

They have always been my favorite love mark.

Honestly, after last night, I'm curious to see what Patrick's back looks like.

I'm sure there are fingernail scratches, up and down his entire back.

Whoops.

That would be my fault.

I get in the shower, and let the hot water roll through my hair, and down my body.

I stay in the shower for about ten minutes, before getting out, drying off, and changing into my clothes for the day.

I decide on a pair of capris skinny jeans, and a grey v-neck.

I apply a light layer of makeup, and make sure that my hickeys aren't completely visible.

With that, I head downstairs.

I walk into the kitchen, expecting Patrick, but I find Jackie Kane sitting on the barstool, with a bowl of cereal.

"Jackie?" I ask, as I head into the kitchen.

"Hey girl!" She says, smiling at me.

"Hey! What are you doing here?" I ask, laughing as I get the cereal out of the pantry.

"Patrick invited Jessica, Erica, and I over for breakfast this morning. I guess he got lonely while you were still asleep." She shrugs, laughing.

"Gotcha. How long have you been here?" I ask.

"About an hour." She replies.

"Cool. Where's Patrick and the other girls?" I ask, as I pour milk into my cereal.

"Outside by the pool, I think." She says.

I nod, as I sit down across from Jackie at the counter.

"So how was your day yesterday?" I ask.

"Pretty good. Erica and I went shopping, but that's about it. You?" She asks.

"Pat and I spent the day Downtown. It was really nice. I finally tried that ice cream place that you guys are all obsessed with." I laugh.

"OH MY GOD, LUCKY. That place is amazing." Jackie says, closing her eyes.

"It really is." I agree.

"What else did you guys do? That can't be it." Jackie says.

"No, really! We had a really nice day." I say, as I get up to grab a banana from the fruit basket.

I hobble my way back to the barstools at the counter.

The muscles between my legs are killing me.

My muscles are so strained, it's literally death.

"Oh my God, I'm so sore." I sigh.

I widen my eyes at the ground, when I realize what I've just said.

Shit.

"From what?" Jackie asks, puzzled.

"I don't know." I lie, shrugging.

Jackie eyes me for a few moments, before continuing to eat.

The girls and I are extremely close, and as weird as it may seem, have no trouble talking about Patrick and my's sex-life.

Although we don't have trouble talking about it, I prefer not to talk about it with them.

Jackie gasps, suddenly.

I look up at her, my eyes wide.

"What?" I ask.

She's biting her lip, and pointing at me.

"Is that a hickey?" Jackie asks, laughing.

I look down at my shirt, and quickly pull it up as much as possible.

"Abigail Quinn, you dirty little bitch!" Jackie smirks, winking.

I blush, looking down.

"I love how you just put two-and-two together." I laugh, rolling my eyes.

"I knew that wasn't the only thing you guys did last night." She winks.

I roll my eyes at her, as I finish my cereal.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever you say Jackie. I'm going to say good morning to the other girls and Pat." I say, placing my dishes in the dishwasher.

Jackie is apparently very fascinated with her own joke, because she's laughing too hard to have heard me.

I laugh at her, before making my way into the backyard from the door at the back of the lakehouse.

I walk outside, and the grass underneath my feet is spongy.

The sun beats down hard on my face, and only a few large, fluffy clouds sit in the sky.

The breeze is warm and pleasant.

The lake glimmers beautifully out past the shore, and the world is calm.

I look over to the pool, and see Patrick, Erica, and Jessica standing by the edge of it.

Patrick's back is towards me, and I can see Erica and Jessica's faces, both looking up at him.

Erica has her hands over her mouth, and Jessica has a huge smile on her face.

Erica jumps into Patrick, hugging him for a few moments.

I walk over to where the three of them are standing, and Jessica notices me as I do so.

"Hey Abby!" She waves, smiling.

"Hey guys!" I reply back, laughing.

Patrick turns around to face me, a big smile written on his face.

"Hey you." He says, reaching his hand out to me.

I take his hand, and he pulls me in close to his chest.

He hugs me tight, and I hug him back.

I look up and peck him on the cheek quickly.

Erica and Jessica look at each other, smiling and blushing.

"I hope you don't mind that I invited the girls over this morning. I didn't want to wake you up, and I had no one to talk to." Pat laughs, looking down at me.

"Of course I don't mind!" I laugh.

"Well, I'm heading in to grab a drink. I'll be back out in a few." Jessica says.

"I'll come with you." Erica nods, following Jessica inside the house.

The door shuts behind them, and Patrick and I are left in the backyard alone.

"You seem to be in a good mood." I laugh, looking up at him.

He laughs.

"It's been a good morning." He shrugs.

I smile at the ground, and then look back up at him.

"How are you doing, after last night?" Pat asks, biting his lip.

He's wearing a black v-neck, grey shorts, flip flops, and a backwards Blackhawks hat.

His blonde curls escape the brim of the hat.

I pull down my shirt slightly, so he can see the extensive bruises that line my collarbone.

He bites his lip, looking down.

"And I can hardly walk, thank-you very much." I giggle.

"Sorry." He winks.

I roll my eyes, playfully.

"How are you?" I ask, smirking up at him.

I squint my eyes as the sun shines brightly in them.

Patrick takes a step over, blocking the sun, and giving me some shade.

"Thanks." I nod, upwards.

"No problem. And I'll admit, I'm pretty sore too. I honestly think that's the hardest I've ever banged you, holy shit that felt so-" Pat starts, but I cut him off.

"Patrick! Your sisters can probably hear you." I roll my eyes, hitting his arm lightly.

"Whoops." He laughs, licking his lower lip with his tongue.

I roll my eyes, crossing my arms over my chest.

"Don't do that." I say, smiling.

"Do what?" He asks, confused.

"Lick your lips! It makes you look horny." I say, laughing.

"Why? Does it remind you of something I did last night with my tongue?" He smirks.

"Oh my God, Patrick! You are a piece of work, you know that?" I roll my eyes, laughing.

I look up at him, and he looks back down at me, smiling.

I shake my head, letting out a laugh.

Patrick bends down slightly and presses a gentle kiss against my cheek.

"Yes, but I'm your piece of work." He winks.

I giggle, rolling my eyes at him.

One of the many things I love about Patrick and my's relationship is how well we know each other.

He's one of my best friends, and so we are comfortable saying just about anything to each other.

Although, I'll admit, I haven't seen the wild, crazy, sexual side of Patrick in a little while, and it's nice to see that part of him again.

Hilarious and nice at the same time.

Almost relieving.

I look up at the boy in front of me, and can't help but laugh, because I am absolutely in love with that loser.
