Maya
Me and Riley said we'd meet up today. Friday. Day before the dinner party. Times Square.
I look around. She's 10 minutes late. Still counts as fashionably late, right?
"Maya!" I hear someone call out. The voice sounds like something I've heard before! Riley!
I stand up and run to her, embracing Riley. "Riles!"
Her grip was tight. It felt so safe and secure. She smelled like expensive perfume. The good stuff, you know?
Finally. We met at last.

"Thanks for showing me around," I smiled. "I had fun today."
"Me too." Riley agreed with me.
"Well-I-I'll see you tomorrow." I smiled.
"Looking forward to it," she nodded.
"Riley.." I stated. "Let go." I said softly and slowly. Riley was gripping tightly on my hand, and I liked it but unless I wanted to drag her on the ground around all day, she would have to let go.
"R-R-right," Riley stuttered, and then quickly let go.
"Tomorrow." I told her.
"Tomorrow." She repeated. And then, I was gone, back onto the subway.
