Chapter 14
October 6, 1965
I hear my alarm go off and immediately realize it's the day before my wedding. My eyes open, I turn to wake up Paul, but he's not there. "Where is he", I say to myself, upset he's not here. Suddenly the door opens and Paul jumps on top of me. He brings his lips to mine and we revel in a passionate kiss. Our lips release each other,"We're getting married tomorrow!", Pauls says excitedly.
"I know I can't believe it, i thought I dreampt that, but I'm so glad it's true", I say.
"Well I can't wait to see you in your dress", he says,"and out of it", he says winking.
"You're terrible Paul!", I say playfully pushing him.
"But you love me", he says sticking his tongue out at me.
"Yup and I always will, for the rest of my life", I say watching his face light up.
After spending some time talking about the wedding we have breakfast. I get my nails done for tomorrow, and the day comes to an end.
Paul made sure he finished any work in the studio before we left for Jersey for the wedding so we could go on our honeymoon. He still hasn't told me where we're going but I'm sure it will be somewhere amazing.
I stand in front of a full body mirror in our room, holding my dress in front of me. It's a beautiful dress, it's strapless and wraps all the way to my thighs, where it than flows out mermaid style. I've dreampt about marrying Paul so many times, I never thought it would happen. I love him so much but there are so many girls out there he could have, and he chose me, it's all I could've hoped for.
I figure if I fall asleep now the wedding will come must faster so I drift to sleep. As I lay sleeping I dream about my life with Paul.
