Caster:
Isabell and I stepped up the stone steps to Sarah's house. Isabell tentitivly knocked on the door. I peeked through her giant window and saw Sarah whiping away tears as she walked to the door in her pajamas. Now that I think about it, this is the first time we've seen her house in a very very long time. It seemed..not like her. It was cold looking and looked like a grown man had taken over the whole house. maybe it was her dad...? Well we hadn't seen her parents at all and her room was up in the attic. Now that I think about it, its kind of suspicous. She opened it with a creak.
"*sniffle* hello?" sarah sniffled.
"Hey we were wondering if you wanted to come with us to walk down to the forest." I said, smiling kindly.
"I dunno you guys..." She said, looking down at herself.
"C'mon!" Isabell said, grabbing her hand and swinging it back and forth.
A smile creeped onto Sarah's lips.
"fine! just let me get ready!" She laughed.
We started to walk into her house but she stopped abruptly and turned around with a cold face.
"Is landon coming?" She whispered.
Me and Isabell shook our heads in sync. Sarah smiled broadly then led us into her room. I exchanged a weary look with Isabell. We sat on her feathery, soft bed, covered in baby blue blankets. It seems like Sarah is rock hard on the outside, full of enthusiasim but sassy and deffinitly not 'daddy's little girl' but her room looked the way mine did when I was little. It had the works. fluffy pink curtains, pink wall paper, soft furry blue carpeting, you name it. She rumaged through her dresser and picked out a pair of skinny jeans and a plaid shirt. She sure didn't take long to get ready.
"How do I look?" She asked, grinning from ear to ear, giving us a little twirl.
I clapped and wooed while Isabell gave her a supportive thumbs up to her decision. We went to her front entrance where Sarah tied on a pair of plain black hight tops. After she locked up (without tellign anyone she was leaving or saying goodbye; which I thought was strange) we departed off towards the forest.
Sarah:
It was great that I was getting out with my buds. Just me, Caster, and Isabell. Way better then being with...Landon again. Pfft, the way she treated me after she found out about me and Jake. It's not like I wasn't going to tell her. I was really going to as soon as I could! To bad she had to find out like that. but seriuosly, she didn't understand!!! I coulnd't control what happened, we just ended up together some how!
"Sarah-Sarah!" Caster was yelling while Isabell shook me.
"holy crap, what the hell!?!?!" I yelled.
"what was that for!"
Isabell rolled her dark eyes at me. and we walked on. What was that for? I was just walking! Then all of the sudden BOOM I was being shooken like I was attacked by a swarm of rampaging evil space monkeys!
"You just randomely blanked out AGAIN." Isabell groaned while Caster laughed as if it was hilariuos.
"Oh come on!" I said rolling my eyes with the faintest hint of a smile.
"We all blank out at times, its when we think real hard." I said, tapping my head.
The mimicked me.
"Its when you think REEEAAAL HARD!" They mimicked, tapping there head as I did, speaking in a nerdy voice.
We laughed as we walked through a path and into the forest. We just got inside when I stopped laughing abruptly. There, sitting on a stump, staring at her feet, was landon.
Landon:
I heard a loud burst of laughter and I turned to see none other then the gang. Isabell, Caster...And the back stabbing ex-friend, Sarah. I looked back down at my feet, pretending I didn't notice them which would probably be virtually impossible. They stopped laughing abruptly and I knew what they were all thinking. Can you guess?
"Landon! Whats up, babe?" Isabell laughed, trying to ease the tension.
I looked up, pretending to be startled.
"Oh! hey Caster and Isabell! How are you?" I smiled evily.
They were silent, they knew what I was trying to do. Blank out Sarah. Sarah just kept walking and Caster and isabell caught up with them. I Ran up to them to, slowly, holding onto my baby bump which I had surprisingly gotten used to. It was very big now. I was due any day now. The suspence was killing me.
"What are you guys up to?" I asked, smirking.
Sarah fidgeted, nervously. She whispered something to Isabell and I grinded my teeth, annoyed.
Isabell:
"what the hell, I thought it was going to be just US! DID U SET THIS UP?!" Sarah whispered angrily into my ear.
"NO! I had no idea she was here, and shes our friend to!" I whispered back.
whats her problem!?! I mean, I know what just happened is fresh newz, but seriously, I like Landon to! Oh boy, how is this going to go threw... Landon jumped in front of us and stopped us. We all stopped and exchanged glances of uneasyness.
"So what are you all doing here? I never got your call...." She said, looking around.
Oh, she was wondering why we didn't invite her to come on our little 'stroll'. I rolled my eyes secretivly. Was it just me or...was landon wearing her brothers clothes? How did she hide her being pregnant all this time from Zak, her brother!? Wow, she must have gone the length just to keep it hidden from him.
"well, because we didn't okay!? We wanted to hang out with our FRIENDS." Sarah said erragantly, stepping towards her, sneering unintentionaly.
landon just gapped at me, her face blank, staring at me as if she was in shock. She made a small sound in the back of her throat, her jaw down, mouth open wide.
"Landon?" Caster asked slowly, poking Landon's shivering arm.
She continued to stare at me, then suddenly grabbed my hand. She clenched it in her fist tight.
"My water just broke." She stuttered.
Caster:
"My water just broke." Landon stuttered.
She wobbled over to a large tree and sat in a groove in the dirt, laying there like it was a bed, holding her stomache. Oh.My.God. Did I just hear what I thought I heard. Oh god! We were way to far in the forest to get help, no one would find us! No one would hear us! And she wouldn't be able to get out of the forest in time! She wouldnt even be ABLE to!
"what!?" Sarah gasped.
"MY WATER JUST BROKE, IDIOT!" She said, flinching with a sudden burst of pain.
Suddenly the pain on her face was gone. She was in labour. Isabell knelt down beside here, along with Sarah. I rubbed the bruises on my arms nervously. this couldn't be happening. I stood and breathed in deeply.
"It's gonna be okay, landon." I said as brave as I could.
She shot me a icy look, then her expression softened. Wow, her emotions were jumping up and down, changing every second. She managed a strangled smile, trying to stay confident, but I knew that her confidence had shattered for good ever since that fateful day. This girl...Landon. She was to unpredictable.
"Breath in....breath out...breath in..breath out, c'mon, stay calm and relaxed...." Isabell said, showing Landon how to breath in and out.
sarah and Isabell shoved eachother for attention from Landon, trying to help Landon as much as they could. even though Sarah and Landon were mad at eachother, I knew they couldn't deny their strong bond and friendship ever since they could walk.
"You guys," Landon managed to choke out.
"I need to tell you something, just incase I dont live."
