I watched desean opened the front door as I said a silent prayer a part of me wanted to go all the way with him but I couldn't let it happen this soon I needed to know what I was doing was right for me.
Desean: babe you good?
Me: yeah I'm good
Desean: well what ya think?? I know my place kinda bachelor pad ish but you know
He smirked and turned the kitchen light on
Me: it's nice and the skyline is beautiful, you know I'm glad my brothers didn't scare you away
Desean:they wouldn't anyways Kai knows me, when I'm down for something it's hard for me to not be passionate especially you being my women I can't let shit phase me
Me: can I ask something?
Desean: yeah??
Me: why you riding so hard for this relationship like I get it but I never seen anybody so happy to be in a relationship especially under the circumstances
Desean looked at me and smirked
Desean: I feel differently about things Chey, it's a side of me most people don't see beside my mama. I know I might seem tough to everyone else but thugs need love too. I see something in you I ain't never seen in anybody before
Me: desean cmon stopp, you always complimenting me
Desean: you deserve it? You beautiful,smart, and I love that shit
He was getting closure to me, I felt his arms wrap around my waist while he stood behind me
Me: fine Desean, you know you being real mushy
Desean: yeah that's true, so lemme ask something
Me: yeah???
I raised my eyebrow at him and changed my body language
Desean: it's cool if you don't wanna talk about it but wassup with you and Calvin?
I stared into his eyes at first trying to see why he asked that question
Me: long story...
Desean: we got all night??
Me: ehh let's sit down?
I walked over to his couch, he sat down and put his arm across the back of the couch
"Calvin and I had a little history, it started when I was fifteen regardless of what happens he always felt as though I was his dream girl or whatever I started dating my ex, Calvin didn't take hints that I was over him and I was happy so he kept harassing me and he took it too far on many occasions and it was partially my fault too. Because I should stopped that shit from the jump but I wasn't quite over him either but I tried to keep my true feelings behind and it fucked a lot of things up and I regret how things happened." I took a deep breath and stared at desean
Desean: so he stalked you??
Me: kinda
Desean: hmmm you think he back to doing that shit now??
Me: nahh he got into a car accident a while back and his whole personality changed I mean he still Calvin to me always but he isn't as crazed about me as before I just wanna be honest about this because I felt as though I should've did that with my ex and I don't want to start that shit again with you
Desean: aye listen I get it people make mistakes and some shit happens but trust me if a nigga think he can take you away from me he outta his damn mind and to be honest me, Calvin, and yo bro Kai use to hang out and I know how he is I just wanted to hear it from yo mouth and hear yo side of the story
Me: okay...
Apart of me wasn't quite sure how to handle that bit of information but I couldn't do anything about it now.

Desean POV
After hearing that's shit from Chey kinda changed my mindset on why Calvin was so pressed when I talked to him a couple of days ago. To be honest I ain't the one to be fucked with and as many people tried to pull shit over me I don't think Chey would be the person to do anything to hurt me I know she got a good heart but I know some people take advantage of that and Calvin was one of them maybe that's the reason why she was so closed off but right now I wanna take her mind off that shit and focus on us right now.
I slid closer to her and brought her closer to me
"Chey, what you think about you and me going on a trip for a couple of days? Getting away from Cali for a bit and chill out?" I had my fingers running through her hair
"That sounds fun where to though??" Chey raised her eyebrow
"I don't know maybe to my hometown I want you to meet my moms and my fam"I looked into her eyes
"Ohh in Virginia???"she rose her eyebrow
"Yeaah you ain't scared of the country right??" I chuckled
"Nahh I ain't scared,I think it's a cool idea gives us a chance to have some fun probably" she laid her head on my chest
"Iight bet. Let's go next weekend then. We can stay a week and go kick it." I pinched her cheek
I wanted to get Chey outta Cali for a minute while I worked on a couple of business deals especially working on my plan to find out more about this shit with Calvin to be honest I ain't a killa but if I feel as though somebody gone be a threat I much rather get rid of it friend or not.
