Prince??!!! What the---ll!! I'm also being haunted here??!!
"Diana! What's the meaning of this?!"
"W-well you see...umm...it's kinda hard to explain"
"And what do you mean by that?!!"
Prince used a rope and swang until he reached Diana and caught her.
"Noooooo! Mom! Dad! Cupid!!! Save me!!!", Diana screamed, reminding me that we're still continuing the play.
"Snow White!!!", mom and dad called out.
"Hey! Give her back!", I demanded, steaming up.
"If you want her back, then retrieve her yourselves!! AHAHAHAH!"
He made his exit and the curtain closed.
"Mom, dad! Do you have any idea what's happening here?"
"We don't!"
"Who cares what happened there? We have to find them!"
"I'll find them. Damn that Prince! I'm not gonna let him ruin the party"
I was about to start my search, but stopped when the curtain suddenly opened.
The scenery changed; Prince sitting on a chair and Diana tied up beside him.
(I haven't prepared such props!! Where did those come from?! I haven't seen any of them when I checked everything before the play started! What's he doing?!!)
I watched as I kept on thinking on how to handle the situation.
(I can't go on stage! Crap!)
Apollo, a master musician, the archer god, a healer, god of light, truth and trust, who was mistaken as a witch, has captivated Snow White with a reason unknown. Why did the God kidnap Snow White? What is his objective?
(Apollo...?! he chose that character? Ch. Doesn't suit him at all)
I thought deeply and finally had an idea.
"Seems like the narrator knows everything"
I went straight to the audio room to check, while the play continued.
"They'll be here any second", Apollo said as he patted Snow White's head.
Snow White kept on struggling until Andrew came.
-On the backstage-
"M-me? I came? W-what am I supposed to do?"
"Improvise! Go go!", Mom said and pushed Andrew to the stage.
Andrew couragely approached the villain to save his loved one.
"I have been waiting", Apollo said, chuckling.
"Let go of her Apollo!! Give her back to me!!", Andrew demanded.
"Calm down Andrew. I'm a friend not a foe"
"Then why take her away from me?!!"
Apollo grinned.
The king and queen went after Andrew to save the day.
"Us?", Diana's mom asked his husband.
"Let's go! Improvise time!"
-AT THE AUDIO ROOM-
The audio room was filled with loud noises.
"WHAT'S HAPPENING HERE!! EXPLAAAAIINN!!"
I pummeled the guy to make him tell the truth.
"C-c...come down miss....y-you see, Prince entered here and gave this copy saying that you gave it to him"
He handed out a copy and I snatched it in a flash and read it:
But unfortunately, they hurt Apollo and Apollo went mad! He killed the couple and so did Snow White. Andrew cried in sorrow and angrily fought Apollo. Apollo was too strong for him and thus, Andrew died. Cupid, who went after them, saw all of the dead bodies. Before Cupid arrived, Apollo already killed himself, afraid to be punishd by the higher gods.
I turned pale as I read the story.
"Die, die, die, die??!! What's this??!"
"That's what's gonna happen after this scene"
"I'm sooo not letting this off"
I wrote another twist of the story and gave it to the guy.
"Now, everything's under control. It's show time, Prince!"
Cupid, who was with them all this time, appeared.
"What do you want Apollo?! You're a healer! A god of light, truth and trust!! Why do you bring darkness into their lives??!!!"
(Now, he has nothing to say)
"Cupid. You told me you love me. Then why until now, I can't feel your love for me?!", he spoke as he stood.
"........what?........"
Mom, dad and Andrew were then tied in ropes above the stage.
"W-what are you doing??!! Release them!!"
"I will not release them unless you give me what I want"
"What is it that you want??!! Damn it!!"
(Dammit! Why is this getting complicated??! He's clever enough to make up his own lines that fast)
He stared at me, then tears fell out of his mask.
"A kiss"
(I can't believe it. He cried? FOR REAL?!)
I stood still, pondering what to do next.
( Such a great actor, aren't we Prince? )
"A kiss that shows that you truly love me! I...I...I can't take it anymore", he said as he approached me and held my shoulders.
The audience was swayed by his act.
"Ah! Prince cried! Prince! Please don't cry!"
Everyone sympathized with him and got teary also as they called out to him.
"So Apollo doesn't get enough love from Cupid. I guess he was really disappointed. Poor Apollo", one of the girls said.
"Cupid! You're such a cold-hearted person! You made him cry!!", another girl commented.
(They really got carried away with that?! Then I have no choice. I have to play along!)
"YOU ALWAYS TEASE ME! THEN, THE NEXT THING, YOU GO ALL SERIOUS!! HOW CAN I EVEN LOVE SOMEONE WHEN I CAN'T TELL WHETHER HE MEANS SOMETHING OR NOT??!!", I retorted.
I wailed and fell on my knees.
(I guess what I really wanted to say came out. Oh well, It went well with the story. Seems like this will become a very emotional scene)
The crowd became silent.
"So...that's what you felt. At least, now I know why, Cupid"
He kneeled and got a lock of my hair and kissed it.
"I LOVE YOU"
The audience went crazy with it!!!
"Ohhhh! A confession!!"
"This scene is making my heart pound"
What he said made my heart skip a beat too.
(Have I long-awaited to hear those words?)
He raised my chin up and passionately kissed me for the second time, and in front of a lot of people too!!!
( Damn! I can't resist! My cover will blow up if I won't go with the flow! )
The girls squealed, the guys astounded and some blushed!
He broke the kiss and made a small distance. Suddenly, I saw blue eyes, peachy lips making a small curve at its edge, and whispering breaths. It took me some time to realize that Prince removed his mask!!!
The girls went crazier than before!!!
"He removed his mask!! Prince removed his mask!!"
"I can't see! They're too close!!"
"Now, kiss me", Prince ordered as he touched my face gently.
He kept on smirking as my body moved on its own, kissing him and refused to let go. He kept on staring at me as we kissed, and carried me on his arms after. I hugged him while the me inside is going crazy of what I'm doing!!!
"Prince, show us your face please!!", one of the girls pleaded.
"Sorry but I'm not Prince, I'm Apollo who can't reveal himself to anyone rather than Cupid", he replied as he turned his back on them. "You are now released"
Andrew, Snow White, the king and the queen were then released.
Apollo apologized to them.
"It's okay young man. As long as love is involved, you will do anything crazy", the queen accepted Apollo's apology.
"So the gods also have their love story", Snow White said and smiled.
Apollo and Cupid went back and got married in the heavens and at the same time, Snow White and Andrew also got married on earth. The curse was lifted. The kingdom came back to life. And they all lived happily after.
Watch out for invisible little Cupid. He might strike any minute.
The curtain closed for the last time.
Everyone clapped and some whistled, as compliments to the performers.
"Well then everyone! Enjoy the party!", Diana gave her signal.
-AT THE BACK STAGE-
"Put me down! Put me down!"
"Awww...you don't have to lie. You loved it"
Andrew, Diana, Mom, and Dad then ran to us.
"Seems like I'm going to have a son-in-law eh? And a handsome one too!", Dad teased, putting his arms around Prince's shoulders.
"Dad!!"
"Welcome to the family dear", Mom added, and hugged him.
"Mom! You too?!"
"Prince, you really do look handsome without your mask and just as I thought! There is something happening between you two!", Diana interfered.
"It's not what you think!", I fumed.
"Then, what was it?"
"It was just simply ACTING!"
"Acting? You know, if it was the kissing scene, you can just both act as if you kissed but as we seen from above, there's really something with the kiss", mom said.
"Right!", dad and Andrew responded.
"Especially when Maria had the initiative to kiss Prince!", Andrew added.
"Right!", mom, dad and Diana responded.
"I hate this conversation!!", I screamed and walked away. "And no one dare to get close to me!"
I went to the garden stomping.
"Blast it! It's just an act! It's just an act! Its just....an act."
I sat down, covered my face, sighed and blushed.
"It...wasn't an act. It seems like I already did fell in love with him! I admit it now since I can't control myself any longer! I--I just can't accept it since its that Devil Prince I fell in love with! Of all the guys in the world, why him??!! Stupid Cupid!!"
I paused for a moment and realized.
"Oh right. I'm also that Stupid Cupid"
-MEANWHILE-
"I really pity Maria", mom said.
"It's your fault Prince! You always tease her. You know, she will always be like that as long as you keep on doing that. You're lucky I helped you out with this one", Diana said, sulking.
"Diana, I'm impressed. You're really good at predicting Maria", Andrew praised.
"It wasn't a big of a deal. The guy I hired is a professional narrator and since I know Maria was going to do that, I gave him a fake script. There's no script at all when Prince entered. The narrator's line was all made up by himself"
"Good job Diana", mom and dad said, amazed.
Prince turned and walked away, following the path Diana went.
"Prince! Where are you---!", Diana tried to stop Prince until Andrew covered her mouth, and made her feel assured with his words,
"Remember, it's Prince we're talking about"
