"We're leaving" Jasper calls to Octavia and I
We're sitting on a log reminiscing about the care free days when we had just arrived which seems like it was years ago but it was really just a few weeks.
We hold hands as we start walking with the group towards the sea which is where Finn says we'll be safe.
Jasper, Octavia and I are leading the group when suddenly she brings everyone to a halt.
"What is it?" I ask her
"I heard something" she says looking around
"It's probably nothing" a kid next to jasper says
Something comes flying through the air and impales the kid in the face killing him instantly.
"Grounders!" Jasper yells
This sends us all back running to behind the walls of our camp.
"Are you happy now? You got your fight" Clarke says to Bellamy
"This is what we've been preparing for. Kill them before they kill us. Gunners, to your posts. Use the tunnels to get in and out. From now on, the gate stays closed." Bellamy commands
The gunners all run to their posts
A bunch of us head into the drop ship.
Finn and Bellamy place Ravens stretcher down on the ground and she sits up
"How much of the entrance is mined?" Bellamys asks
"About half of it, we could have done more if Murphy didn't waste all our gun powder" I say annoyed
"I also made a few grenades" Raven says pointing to a can sitting on the ground
"That's not very many" Clarke says after looking inside
"Again...thank you Murphy"
"What if they get through the gate?" Finn asks
"We hide in here, close the door and pray" Raven answers honestly
"Wait Raven you said there was rocket fuel under the ship right?" Clarke asks
"Yea but we have no gun powder left to build bombs" Raven tells her
"What if I don't want to build a bomb? What if I want to blast off?" Clarke asks Raven
"Barbequed grounders...I like it" Raven says
"So you can do it?" Clarke asks
"Hell yea" Raven responds

Clarke and I have been underneath the drop ship listening to Ravens instructions trying to hook up all the wires needed so we can blast off and burn the grounders.
"Clarke" Raven calls
"Yes?" she replies
"I can't feel my legs" Raven tells her
Clarke climbs back up leaving me under there still looking for the wire raven told us to find.
A few minutes later Clarke climbs back down.
"What's happening?" I ask her
"The bullets in her spine, Finns going to find Lincoln and see if he has anything that can slow the bleeding" she tells me
I start to hear shots being fired outside
"Did you find the orange wire yet?" Raven asks
"Yes, I'm just trying to find the end of it" I tell her
I run my hand along the orange wire till I finally reach its end to find that it's broken.
"Uh raven, the wires fried" I tell her
"Please tell me we have a plan b" Clarke says to Raven
"Can either of you splice a wire?" Raven asks
Clarke and I both respond no
"We're screwed" Raven says with a sigh
"Raven, Kat your landmines are working" Jasper says through the walkie talkie
"Wait Jasper Can splice" Raven realizes
I climb up the ladder and grab the walkie
"Jasper we need you in here" I tell him
"No way! We need all the gunners out here" Bellamy protests
"We can't do this without him" I tell Bellamy
"I'll be right there" Jasper responds
Jasper comes running in and I send him down to help Clarke.
I sit with Raven while she gives directions to Clarke and Jasper.
After a few minutes she suddenly closes her eyes and stops talking.
"Raven" I say shaking her
"What's wrong?" Clarke calls up
"She's unconscious" I tell her
Clarke comes right up.
"Jasper keep going" I instruct him
"She's breathing but barely" Clarke tells me
"The grounders are through the gate" I hear someone say over the walkie talkie
Clarke goes outside to see what's happening while I drag Raven to the back of the ship to keep her as hidden as possible.
People start to pile into the drop ship.
I walk outside and see fights all over the camp between the grounders and our people.
"Clarke what's happening?" I ask her
"We're losing ground, Jaspers almost done so I'm getting everyone in the ship" she explains
There's a bright light in the sky and something is falling from it. This distracts everybody and the battle momentarily stops but continues seconds later.
"Is that from the ark?" I ask Clarke
"I think that is the ark" she tells me
"Thank god you're okay" I say when Octavia appears in front of me at the drop ship door.
"You need to get inside" she tells me
"what about you?" I ask her
"I need to go help my brother" she says pointing to bellamy who was with Finn fighting off multiple grounders
"If you stay out here you'll die" I tell her
"I can't leave him, I'll be fine I promise" she tells me before placing a kiss on my lips
"I love you so much" I admit to her
"I love you too, May we meet again" she says before running off to help her brother.
I walk inside and Clarke is giving Raven some kind of medicine.
"Finn got it from Lincoln" she tells me "He also gave us this" she says tossing me some sort of horn. It must have been the one that was blown for the acid fog, I slip it in my pocket so I don't lose it.
"The grounders have taken down the gate" Miller announces
"I'm ready" Jasper shouts as he climbs up the ladder
The ignition system is all ready and all we have to do is seal the drop ship and flip the switch to set it off.
I look at Clarke
"We have too" she says with sad eyes
I nod and walk over to the lever on the wall which starts to close the door but before it could fully close a grounder slides in just as it shuts.
Everyone starts to surround her and she waves her sword around at us.
She's quickly knocked out and Clarke has to stop people from killing her.
"Jasper do it" Clarke tells him
He flips the switch but nothing happens
"Fuck" I mutter
"wait" he says before unhooking two of the wires and switching them.
He flips the switch again and this time the whole drop ship shakes, letting us know that it worked.
I go and sit in the back with Raven.
From the front of the drop ship we can't really be seen since all of the wood and metal from the tents was all placed in here when they were taken apart in preparation for the battle.
We all sit in silence for what seems like hours but is probably only minutes before Clarke decides to open the drop ship door.
Everyone including the grounder goes outside but I stay in the back with Raven. I can't bear myself to go out there. Octavia could be dead and so could Bellamy and Finn and I don't think I could handle that.
When I don't hear anything in the next couple minutes I peek out from where Raven and I were hidden to see a bunch of pink smoke and men in gas masks taking everyone away.
"What's happening?" Raven groans as she awakens
"shhh" I say as someone enters the drop ship
They quickly inspect but they didn't look behind the pile of debris where we were hiding.
I peek out again and see that the pink gas has cleared and everyone is gone.
Those people couldn't have been grounders
Which leaves me with the question
What the hell are they and why did they take my friends?
